Have been going here for years and shopping. Good selection of stuff. But, went in the Cashiers store recently with some friends and our kids. The employees were extremely rude about the kids. Overheard several negative comments directd at us from employees and had numerous dirty looks from employees. We will nto shop here anymore. Good store but not family friendly. Go elswhere if you have children…

Off the main drag somewhat having friendly service. Yes, their selection of gear is a little like another reviewer said. look like your in the mountains but you are not actually climbing them. :) Prices are what you would expect — higher than normal but not the most expensive.

Arlington, VA
Offers higher priced clothing than Bear Mountain, where Marmot (which I love) is about the best known technical manufacturer, HH aims higher and broader. Lots of clothing, well presented, with a large shoe store separate.
There’s no good outfitter in town, however. Highlands is all about being in the mountains, not climbing them.
