Slightly above average steak, extremely over priced for what it is. Fatty steaks. Frozen sides. Good wine to be fair.

I had My 50^th Birthday Dinner there on the 26^th with friends and family about 15 of us. Our waiter Jerry was the Bomb!!! Took very good care of us! From the appetizers to the main courses the food was Outstanding! I highly recommend the French Onion Soup. Delish. Seafood surf/​surf… Yum! Even the Owner gave our table Carrot Cake in honor of my Birthday! Again Great Service Great Food

This used to be our favorite restaurant, and without a doubt the food is good. We even overlooked the server mixing up our left over boxes with another couples left over boxes. The server seemed to be having a bad day. But when we came in on an absolutely beautiful day and requested seating on the patio, which they accommodated WITHOUT informing us that SMOKING IS ALLOWED on the patio, and half way through our dinner a table was filled with smokers not five feet from where we were seated! We feel that was very irresponsible of the staff/​management. We have not returned!

For lunch on Sep 10, 5 of us visited your restaurant to plan an Alumni party. I ordered a $ 10.95 salad (2 choices on the menu) and asked if it was real crab, as I do not like the pre-​packaged. He confirmed that the crab filled avocado has real crab meat. I got a scoop of fairly milky mixture of something without much flavor or taste. SHOCKED when I was billed $ 20.95 for my salad! Waiter said it was ‘a $ 10 upcharge for real crab’, I was NOT informed. Actually the highest price on the salad menu was $ 16.95 for steak salad which I showed him!

The PRICE almost doubled and NOT corrected. I would never reco this type of service or uninformed sticker shock.

My steak was pretty good, under seasoned but properly cooked.
Everyone else in our party had mixed reactions to their meal.
½ were big fans while the others found their food to be off in some way or another.
If nothing else, you won’t leave hungry.
You generally get a soup and a salad and then the meal!
Service was ok and the beer menu was really sad considering that they’re a stone’s throw from FFF (no FFF on the menu).

Went in about a month ago with my wife, son and his girlfriend. Food was good we all ordered steak. Didn’t have an issue with anything food wise only the roaming waiter that wasn’t ours that couldn’t seem to stop walking by and starring I my son’s girlfriend. It became a bit annoying after a while seeing how we all noticed you. You made it very obvious on how stupid you looked. Maybe you should find something to occupy your time when its slow. Like work!

Took my boyfriend here for his birthday. We both had an excellent meal. The waitstaff was friendly and helpful. The food was wonderful. The Oyster Rockerfeller was the best I’ve had in a long time. We will be back.

Have driven past this place for years. Went for dinner Friday night and was very happy. We did feel a bit underdressed but know better for our next visit. Everything was so good (starting with the warm bread and cheese spread). Martinis were tasty, even the salads were very fresh. The clam chowder was to die for! My cousin had the lamb chops which she loved and I had the shrimp/​scallops Alfredo. We were happy with the cost because we got our monies worth from the entire meal. The ambiance was very nice and our server was very attentive and informative. Can’t wait to dress up and visit again.

Honestly we came back for the fried calamari. Not too many restaurants get it right anymore. The 1″ thick rings are lightly tossed in a tempura batter and fried to perfection. Definitely not that greasy rubber band texture. These folks are consistent! It’s so damn good!
Second, we opted for the daily specials.
Two bacon wrapped chicken breasts stuffed with spinach, garlic, and cheese.
12−14oz T-​bone steak with 3 jumbo fried shrimp.
We both had the lemon rice soup, and a twice baked potatoe.
THE FOOD WAS/​IS PHENOMENAL!
And the service… Superb!
These guys have all their T’s crossed and I’s dotted.
They do hospitality right!

I never write reviews but this one is way over due… Me and my family of 8 went here to celebrate a birthday. We all had never been here before so we all decided to each order something different. Not to mention each plate was over $ 20 The food was just flat out non tasting, and we really were trying to give it a chance so we tasted each other’s food it was still bad.
So the birthday boy asked if he could get his steak cooked a little more because it didn’t taste done, when the lady came back it still didn’t taste right to him so he asked to switch his dinner then a few more of us told her that the food didn’t really have any flavor.
Instead of her giving us an suggestion on what we could order or of adding some spices maybe to our current meals she simply said she can’t give us food for free. Then we all were just discussed by her rudeness remark. I said I would complain and let people know how they treated us and then she tried to offer a free chocolate cake. Of course we got up and left, we still paid for the food because it was never about the money the service plus food was plain horrible. So to sum it all up…
–the food was horrible I have no idea what these other people were eating
–the waiter was rude
–and I wouldn’t recommend my dog to go there to eat. And that is the honest to God truth

Had the Chicken Ciabatta, was very impressed. They caramelized the onions and green peppers on the Ciabatta bread, fries were perfectly seasoned, didn’t even need catsup.
Server was pleasant, food came out quick. Well worth the top shelf pricing.

Our favorite restaurant! The ribeye is one of the best steaks I have ever had. It’s a bit pricy but well worth the cost. We try to go once or twice a month and should be visited by everyone at least once.

Me and my sister arrived around 9pm… Atmosphere was great, It was a party going on other side of restaurant with live music and everyone was having a great time!!! We approached by our wonderful hostess Sharon… Food was Great… Martini’s were Greater!!! Recommend for anyone to try.

Just had an impromptu dinner at Theo’s after having driven by it 500 or so times. We were underdressed and felt conspicuous, but decided to be rock stars and not give a shit. (I’d recommend wearing something other than jeans).
Everything was delicious. We had french onion soup and salads (both lovely) while our main courses (filet and ribs) were being prepared. We both opted to «upgrade» our dinner sides to asparagus with bearnaise. I’m two things: a hater of regular asparagus and a lover of properly cooked asparagus. Yum! It was the latter. My filet was cooked perfectly. Wait staff was attentive. Nice atmosphere. Tab came to about $ 90 so won’t be able to make it out here multiple times a week like I might like.
All in all, 4 stars across the board. I’d award an extra half if I could for stroking my ego, since our waiter carded me (first time in 7 years). Very important to my dining experience.

This place was excellent! We had great service and our food was delicious! Every thing was prompt, intimate and my girlfriend and I had a wonderful time! Will definitely come back again!

You’ve got to get the ribeye. Its the best you’ll find. Also ask for Betty! She’s a great server and will keep you laughing.
What I like most about Theo’s is the food is always great, they never seem to have an «off» day. It’s a wonderul place!

Class act all the way. Theo’s contacted me regarding my Unilocal posting and apologized for the situation and for Dj’s behavior. They even followed it up with having us back for dinner on them. I highly doubt after my experience they will let anything like that go on again. I would gladly suggest Theo’s for your next event. The food never disappoints. I’ve loved them since growing up on Ted’s in cal city.

Came in around 7 pm on a Tuesday. My party of 3 was seated immediately.
I ordered the 9 oz filet steak for around $ 30 with the baked potato. All of the steak, lamb, or pork dishes come with a soup, salad, and a side, so it’s definitely a good amount of food. Beef noodle soup was good, caesar salad was good. The steak, for being $ 30, I expected a little better, but it certainly wasn’t bad in any way. The filet was tender and juicy. I’d probably check this place out at least once more, but I think you can get better for the same price.

I must say I didn’t know what to expect but I was very happy with everything at this restaurant The food was a 10 I enjoyed everything the service, ambiance, the wine thank you Betty for exceptional service. I will return when I come back to this fine city

Theo’s never disappoints! There food is simply amazing every single time I go there with my family. When you walk in Theo’s you immediately feel like your eating with family because everyone is so pleasant and it has that family business feel. This place is great for families, friends, or a hot date seeing as though the lighting is perfect for a romantic date night.
Now on to the best part– the food. So when I go, I always get the Porterhouse steak as my entrée with a salad and the lemon rice soup.
The lemon rice soup is always so good… The Porterhouse steak is always huge and packed with so much flavor. Everything is amazing!!! No complaints
