I’m only giving this staters a 1 star because it won’t let me score it a zero. The cashier speaks to some of their customers all the time but not to all the customers all the time. I had been going to this store for over 10 years and i decided to go to the one on greenspot rd. Big difference. Cashiers are friendlier and so is management. I wonder does Jack Brown know about the attitude in the palm and highland store? I don’t shop and will not shop there anymore.

Thanksgiving day, Theresa and I were sent out on a mission to pick up peanut oil. A cashier by the name of Ryan G went to the shelf and grabbed the last peanut oil on the shelf. Kudos, to Ryan G for personalizing the shopping experience at Staters. Thank you Ryan G.

The best stater brother store I ever been to… Everyone is so friendly, everyone smiles! And is very helpful… I just wish they had a bakery. I Often go to the stater bro. In riverside (when I visit my bestfriend) and no one even makes eye contact there. I strongly dislike that store!

I really love this place. I know. That sounds so weird, but the staff here have always made me feel important. That’s a way to run a business. They ask how my kids are doing, and encourage me. The neighborhood has declined in the last 15 years, but I still use this locale exclusively. Love it. :)

I fully agree with Jay R., the previous reviewer, about this Stater’s. It’s the one closest to me. I used to go to the one on 40^th Street or to this one before the huge one on Greenspot Road opened. But this locale will always have a soft spot in my heart.
The store is always clean, the selection decent (though not as good as at an Albertson’s or Ralph’s or the new Stater’s previously mentioned), and the prices are low. Now as low as Food 4 Less, but the quality and class of shoppers there tend to be quite a bit higher.
And of course — there’s the full service butcher that Stater’s has always been known for! MMmMmMMmm.
I still come here to pick up items now and then. Its a good, solid store to frequent.
