So today I walk in and ask about pumpkin beer. I assume it was the owner who approached me and said we have pumpking in. I told him that it was not good this year because the recipe changed. He then said I still have pumking from last year and I just had a bottle and it was very good. He then told me that it does not go bad. Obviously he didn’t know who he was talking to. I am very knowledgeable with craft beer and especially pumking. It does go bad it loses its flavor and it does not taste good especially after one year sitting on the floor. Very disappointing that he would try to sell me that. obviously he doesn’t know that much about craft beer except for trying to sell it. They may have a large selection but a lot of the bottles that are sitting on the shelf are overpriced and from years ago…

What a beautiful liquor market — an amazing whiskey selection! The guys there were very knowledgeable and helpful — can’t believe I have never stopped there before! They also have an amazing craft beer selection. After talking with the owners/staff I found out they frequently have tasting events(almost every Friday.) Will certainly be back — the owner said if you don’t see something you want, and it’s on the Michigan list, I’m more than happy to get it for you!

Absolutely, without question, the finest selection of beer I’ve seen anywhere. I’ve known people who trek to Ann Arbor to visit Super Liquor IV, and let me tell you, it doesn’t hold a candle to the beer selection at Pineridge. If it’s available in Michigan(and sometimes, even if it normally isn’t), it’s probably on a shelf or in a cooler here. And the selection isn’t just microbrews. The international selection is outstanding, not to mention a commendable selection of hard apple and pear ciders from Michigan and abroad. The wine selection is decent, though you’re probably going to find a broader selection at Colasanti’s across the street. However, the staff at Pineridge is about as knowledgeable as you’d find at Colasanti’s without being completely pretentious. Similarly, the liquor selection is quite good. It goes from«quite good» to «excellent» if you’re looking for higher-end scotch, whisky, and vodka. Topping it all off, they’re always open on holidays, the employees are ridiculously friendly, the prices are at(or awfully close to) state minimum, and if by some crazy chance they don’t have what you came for, there’s an open signup sheet at the register to request something. Even if you don’t drink«fancy stuff», stop in for your next case of beer, and you’ll almost certainly leave with more than you came for.

Pineridge market has a great micro and craft brew selection from all the the best breweries. I’ll research a beer and more often than not I can stop by Pineridge and pick it up on my way home from work. In the rare case when they don’t have a beer I am looking for, they are always willing to order it. The selection here is amazing. You can even make up your own mixed 6 pack for $ 9.99 or 12 pack for $ 17.99. Also if you’re into wine, cigars and spirits, you can’t go wrong here. Pineridge has one of the best stocked humidors in Michigan. Check out Pineridge… They have one of the best selections in the metro Detroit area and the service is great. Say hi to Mark the owner, he is on hand just about every day.
