JV Nails

I’m very picky when it comes to nail salons because they tend to be rough on my cuticles, but this place is very professional and gentle on my hands. The atmosphere is nice with little to no fume smell, the people are friendly, and it’s the only place I’ve been to that does a moisturizing wax dip for your hands. I always leave happy with my results and would 100% recommend going here.

This is the only nail salon that we’ve tried where the polish doesn’t come off after a few days. Been very pleased every time, plus they offer a student discount for my kids!

Great service for the price. All manis include paraffin treatment, even shellac. They have a lot more shellac colors to choose from then at most salons. I would definitely return.

I am VERY picky about my nails and I wouldn’t think of going anywhere else besides JV, I have been going to Kathy for 8+years. I have followed Kathy from her old salon and her new business location excellent.
JV nails is spotless with lovely décor and new equipment. All of the staff is friendly and professional, and they have a great selection of OPI and Essie colors. Each client gets his/​her own box with nail tools and you get a paraffin treatment with even a standard mani. In addition to my nails Kathy does all of my waxing, which I have always been more than satisfied with. Kathy is a true professional, I give her my highest recommendation.

I’m meticulous about having my nails painted, and any of my former roommates and boyfriend will attest to the fumes that would fill the room at night as I repaint my nails if a single chip were evident. Sadly, nail polish doesn’t travel well, and I’ve had leaks, bottles breaking, and bottles sealing themselves. This time when I came home, I did not bring a single bottle of nail polish. After having my fingers polishless for two weeks, insanity set in, and I had to get my nails done but where?
I drove around my home trying to find a nail salon I have yet to try because the ones I have been to have been disappointing. I will say that any nail salon must live up to Silk in San Francisco because that was the first place I ever had my nails done, and they do a very good job there.
After driving around, I found JV Nails on the second floor of a relatively new new shopping complex at the intersection of Scaggsville Rd and Clarksville Pike. I didn’t have an appointment so I had to wait a few minutes. It’s pretty much your typical corner nail salon with a TV on and Vietnamese flying through the air, but they provide you with your own box to use when you come. The mani/​pedi was ridiculously fast, but as a result, the quality suffered even though they provide a paraffin treatment with the manicure. My nails were filed terribly neither square nor square oval but simply jagged, but the polish job was decent. In all honesty, I doubt I would go here in the future.
