El Paso is the real deal. The tacos are fresh, authentic and delicious. And they are only $ 1.50. Yesterday I had the Chicken in Red sauce with rice and beans! It was amazing! I could eat here everyday! And I love when I walk in. I get the warmest welcome… Hello Señorita! They appreciate me coming in as much as I appreciate the time and love they put into their food!

Who would have thought ??? This little hole in the wall bodega/Deli?/taqueria in the middle of no where basically. A few tables are available to dine in. Prices are very low, quality & freshness very high. For what it is and where it’s located, I was impressed … Good folks, friendly people.

Some of the best tacos and tortas I’ve had since moving back from the Rio Grande Valley.

This place is very dingy and looks quite run down from outside and inside. It even looks a bit dirty and I was suspect about eating the Salsa that was just sitting out left in the middle of the table reused by all of the patrons. Pretty unsanitary to me. With that being said, the tacos and quesadillas were delicious and the price is right. At $ 1.50/ taco it’s the closest thing I get to Taqueria San Pancho in Georgia but with a fraction of the menu offering. No coctel De Camarones or any soups that I recall. They also sell overpriced Mexican snacks like Tamarindo and chile peanuts. The food is good and cheap, but for me they could really clean up the place and keep the salsa unshared and refrigerated. Call me picky, but it just doesn’t say hey, I want to eat here. But if you brave the«ambience» and decide to eat there, it’s solid food.

If you are looking for delicious, real, AUTHENTICMEXICAN then you have hit the jackpot with El Paso Café and deli. The food and the business is family oriented, all cooked by a mother straight from Oaxaca, Mexico along with her son and sister. From tamales, burritos, soups, MEXICAN sandwiches even to BEC, eggs and pancakes you can get anything there. It’s super clean and friendly and also have some groceries to buy… Truly an awesome place!!!

It’s hard to find good Mexican food in this part of the country, but the friendly proprietor of this small storefront café served us delicious, authentic tacos and burritos with her own homemade salsa. A nice stop for an inexpensive lunch!

$ 1 tacos in NY state? Yup. Right here at El Paso! Cooked on the spot. Fresh and delicious. We live in Brooklyn and would talk about traveling all the way to Poughkeepsie by Metro North, walk across that bridge over the Hudson River, walk some more to get to El Paso — just for their tacos. Not all tacos are created equal. Amen.

The staff here are beyond friendly. I would come back just for their smiling faces. When you first walk in, it’s a little disorienting… Is this a convenience store? Oh, there’s a scribbled menu over there! Why is the linoleum floor so dirty looking? For tacos that are a bit over a $ 1 and made on homemade corn tortillas, stop asking questions. You’re in the right place. Enchiladas with verde sauce was good. The queso fresco was a nice touch and the sauce was spicy and tasted fresh. The overall portions are huge. I’ll try the chimichanga next time– saw it at the adjacent table and it looked great(and huge).
