Excellent pizza a little thick but great sauce and nice amount of cheese close to NY. We will be back

Great NY style pizza, the cheese garlic bread is amazing, and their marinara is the best I’ve had.

This place was awful, wait staff was awesome, but no more dough to make single slices of pizza. When I come back to the area I will not be back

Some of the best pizza in the Flower Mound area; fresh ingredients and crispy crust. The house salad dressing is also a stellar choice.

Usually pretty good about take out orders being right. But tonight people in front of me there pizza order was lost and not made. I was next one out of the two were done. I had to wait 20 mins for it to be made. No discount offered. Need to do better! Well also just got home and the one pizza that was done is now dried out and the other one is not cooked and doughy. Kind of disappointed!

I went in there about an hour before closing for a to-go order and after waiting for about thirty minutes the food was not ready. When we had finally received the food, the owner put extra sauce on my food in spite of me asking for very little sauce. Will NEVER go back. –1 star.

Can’t speak to anything but the pizza… I just can’t go here and not have it. Very good NY style pizza. I’m a pizza connoisseur who lived on Long Island and in Westchester for a number of years, so I feel like I know my pizza. This is as good a pie as I’ve found in the DFW Metroplex. And, trust me… I’ve been looking. Good sauce, good cheese, as good of a crust as you’re going to get without New York water. Try it!

Absolutely the best pizza in town! Others have tried to make a go of it with pizza restaurants in this location, but this place is the real deal. Tremendous takeout business, but we like to eat in when it’s straight out of the oven. I dare anyone to try it and not like it as much as we do. Forget Bari’s, Nick’s, Alforno’s and all the rest of them. This place is the bomb! Bonus: Bring your own wine!

Yummy! Best pizza around, and a beautiful small courtyard. Tremendous service, and my daughter loves that you can buy pizza by the slice. Generous portions and toppings, and Right next to a wine shop for the Ease of BYOB — it’s the best New York pizza in Dallas.

Ate here last night. Was extremely excited to give it a try based on it having 4.5 stars and a lot of good reviews. I really hate ranking it a 1 star but my families experience just doesn’t give it any higher. The place was hot, like they had no working AC. They had all the fans going and even some extra ground fans but it just made it unpleasant. Making it even more unpleasant was the owner always shouting at his workers what to do and to come here. I ordered a small pizza with only sausage. Wife ordered the chicken parm casserole. Pizza: Crust was flavorless. Pizza itself was pretty salty tasting. And I love salt. Chicken parm: my wife took one bite and was done with it. She can’t even describe or explain how bad it tasted so I gave it a try and yeah, it was pretty bad tasting. The best I can describe my bite was it tasted like tender cardboard. Rolls were bland, no taste. Adding butter didn’t help. And as I am typing this review, I remember I ordered garlic bread with cheese and never received it. I don’t remember if I paid for it as I didn’t keep my receipt. Waitress was friendly but you can tell it’s probably her first job and it shows. She just needs experience. Lastly, they only have one high chair so if you need two or more or someone else is using it, you’re out of luck. Really wanted to have good food and a good family experience but it just didn’t happen. We won’t be back as there’s plenty of other pizza places that do much better. Wish them luck.

Well I have had pizza all over the U.S. I was pleasantly surprised to find an actual pizzeria in Highland Village, TX. The pizza I ordered was the Peter’s Special. It was the most awesome pizza I have had since Chicago. The only complaint which isn’t really a complaint is the heat from the oven. It makes the restaurant a little warm so don’t sit in the back. LOL ! Oh by the way the cheese bread and marinara is delicious!

Went here on recommendation. OH my! The eggplant was insane! The rolls, salad, pizza and Alfredo! This is as authentic Italian as you can find in Dallas. Everyone in my group was as impressed as I was. This is a must come to place. If I lived in the area I would make an extra trip to the gym just to eat here weekly! We were welcomed and attended to by the owner. He’s adorable! Straight out of New Jersey.

Great food and large portions served promptly and hot. They could do better on the salads.

As noted in other reviews, pizza snob from Jersey here. This was legit as Carlos R. said. Even the guy’s attitude was Jersey haha. Seriously the food(«plain» pizza) was awesome. There was a misunderstanding about the order but my dour pizza guy fixed it.

Crunchy crust, great tasting sauce, excellent toppings. Gotta go for the Peters Special. Make sure you ask for the rolls! This is a weekly place for us.

Very impressed. Other reviews regarding being a traditional hand tossed northern style pizza are completely accurate. Ordered take out for the family: Couple of pizzas(traditional toppings) Eggplant parm sub Chicken parm sub Each of these were on the mark. They are BYOB, which is a bit of a pain as we have two younger kids and would rather have the establishment provide cold beer or a wine selection. The good news: there is a liquor store directly next door. So, not a tragedy in any respect. All in all, we will be back.

There are plently of places around Flower Mound to get pizza, from small shops to the chains, including the newest gimmicky chain that takes forever. But my money is on this little gem. Great service and super friendly owners. The pizza is fantastic, from the special, the meat lovers, heck i love just the meatball pizza. Try the eggplant rolotini appetizer — fantastic. The homemade sauce is amazing! Fresh made rolls are to dive for. Dont miss it and say hi to Liz.

The service was not good. She came to take our order and we started telling her and in mid-sentence, she said, «I can’t remember all this. I’ll be back.» She left to go get a notepad. Shouldn’t they always have one when taking an order. Who I am assuming to be the owner, was throwing and banging everything around in the kitchen and yelling at the staff with the occasional swear. Very unprofessional. There was no music until half way into dinner and then it was blaring classic rock. The chicken Alfredo was awesome! The chicken Parmesan was not so good. The Dr. pepper was too syrupy and lacked carbonation. This is our second visit when we said we would not go back after the first visit. We so badly want to like this place and support the local owner but after two not so good experiences, we will not be back.

Wow… so…they have the attitude for sure, but authentic NY??? I think not. 2 rules for NY, east coast, or etc for pizza… 1. Order cheese– this tells you how good the sauce is. 2. East coast pizza does not have crumbled sausage… PERIOD! We’re done!
