Got two watch batteries replaced around 3:30p on a Tuesday and it was a totally painless experience. Cost $ 15 and took a total of five minutes. Three year guarantee on the batteries. Not too shabby!

Jimmy is a no nonsense guy. That being said, he gets right on his way to fixing your watch. He has just about every tool and accessory, from a wide array of batteries, to screws, etc. If he tells you it’ll take 20 minutes, just stay the 20 minutes. I got a watch fixed in less time, about 10 minutes. Price wise, expect to pay a little bit extra.

Jimmy is pretty nice. I stopped by and wanted to resize my watch band this noon. It was snowing and the store was closed with a «lunch time» sign on the door. Then I called Jimmy, and he showed up in 10 minutes and helped me resize my watch band. Very professional and easy going.

Not too cheap… 4 batteries for not very expensive watches for ~38 bucks. A link removal 8 bucks more.
The guy is rude. May be he is getting too much business from these reviews.
Got the work done quickly. Collection is very basic.

Twice have had a watch band repaired and once a battery replaced. Took a few minutes and prices are great. The watch expert is friendly and helpful. Check the day’s hours online and give a call before coming as they may be helping another customer and can tell you the best time arrive.
They are 35 minutes from my home but wouldn’t go anywhere else.

I had a watch face repaired here which took the weekend and about $ 28 dollars to fix. Before leaving the store there was debris in side the glass that I asked the owner to remove. I realized when I got home that there was a fingerprint that I thought was inside the glass (I had used a soft cloth to try to remove the print, no luck).
I took it back to the store and asked the owner to clean the glass for me, which he did begrudgingly. He informed me it was outside the glass and when I asked him if he could double check if it was on the inside he immediately accused me of the smudge and jumped to the conclusion that I was attempting to extort him for a new watch face. I tried to reason with him and asked him to try to clean it at which point he informs me to never come back to his store again.
Overall a really unpleasant experience with an irrational and temperamental individual.

It may seem like I’m jumping on the bandwagon here, but this place is wonderful! I have a Betsey Johnson watch that I got as a gift two or three years ago, and one of the rhinestones inside the watch face had come loose, and it was getting caught between the hands and causing all sorts of trouble. I was afraid it was going to cost me a chunk of money to get it fixed, so it sat on my dresser for probably six months. Now I feel so silly, because the guy at Jimmy’s watches (who I assume is Jimmy) fixed it in 5 minutes and replaced the battery for a grand total of $ 16. While I waited, I looked around at his stock of watches and jewelry for purchase – he has all of the big brands and designer brands and there is a range of prices. Seems like a great place to buy a gift.
All in all, Jimmy’s has quick service, more than reasonable pricing, and everything is top quality. Plus, it’s easy to get to! I’ll continue to go here for all my watch-​related needs.

This place is awesome. Looks a little shanty from the outside but in the inside it has a prime selection of watches. Theres a nice little lady that works there. I had to resize my watch and take out some links. She just looks at it and resizes it in what feels like 10 minutes. Best part, only $ 8. Great prices even for battery replacements. Highly recommend!

Jimmy just replaced battery for my Omega watch yesterday, I am very satisfied with the service and the price is very reasonable.

When my watch battery ran out, a friend recommended I go to Jimmy’s. I was not disappointed. My battery was replaced that same day and it only cost $ 5.

I bought this pretty expensive Seiko from Macy’s and after about 1 year it broke. I took it back to the watch repair desk at Macy’s who told me all i could do was buy another watch from them. I was then directed by my friend to go to Jimmy’s to see if he could help me out. I dropped my watch off and picked it up the next day in brand new working condition, and the repair bill was not bad at all way less than i expected. Jimmy saved me so much money not having to buy a new watch; its so great there are still places with professionals like Jimmy that aren’t out to rip you off like all these other super stores that just throw people that don’t know what they are doing behind the counter.
From now on I know better and will only be going to Jimmy’s for all my future watch business, battery replacements are like 3 – 5 bucks, and done by someone who knows what they are doing, that’s truly amazing! And he has a good selection of watches too ranging from cheap $ 10 ones to really nice luxury brands like Tag Heuer, Movado, and Burberry. Jimmy’s is the only place to go for watches.

My boyfriend looooovvvves his watches. Maybe a little bit more than he loves me (haha); they are not crazy expensive pieces, but he likes to take care of them. However, for the past couple of months, his two watches’ batteries died, and he has been having such trouble getting them replaced at a good price. He works in a mall ironically enough, but the one watch kiosk tried to charge him 25 dollars, for one watch. Also– in regards to his one sports watch, they said that the battery was irreplaceable.
Anyway, we were referred to Jimmy’s by a friend, and finally got around to going to get his watch repaired the other day. It is conveniently located on 27, right over the border from Highland Park and Edison.
We came in, and the owner/​repairman was able to replace the batteries in less than ten minutes. He also let us know the battery life on each and guaranteed the battery and let us know if there was any problems to bring the watches back in. He was able to change the battery on the apprently ‘tricky’ sports watch without any problem.
The best part? The price! Ten dollars to get both batteries replaced! Crazy! In the past, we’ve gotten watch batteries replaced for 25 dollars APIECE.
Anyway, if you need an affordable battery for your watch, or any watch repair– the owner proceeded to tell us all the other services he offered, do stop by JImmy’s. Also– if you are in the need for a nice watch, they have a great selection of watches from fun costume jewelry watches at $ 10 and less, to more designer pieces such as Omega, Citizen, Swiss Army, Fossil, Burberry. They also carry a selection of children’s watches, costume jewelry, travel clocks.
We will definitely make Jimmy’s our place to get our watches fixed and repaired. Dependable and personable service!

Nobody knows watches like Jimmy.
I’m a bit of a fashion fanatic, and if there’s anything I love more than chic accessories, it’s functional chic accessories. I’ve purchased no less than 8 watches from Jimmy’s and to this day, every time I wear one, I always get the most glowing compliments, which I of course «graciously» accept and attribute to my savvy sense of style.
But I gotta give credit where credit is due. Not only are Jimmy’s watches very affordable, they also never skimp on quality. I’ve purchased watches that may have been a few bucks cheaper elsewhere, they typically died or rusted after maybe a few wears. But I’ve had a bunch of Jimmy watches for years and, at the risk of sounding unforgivably corny, they just keep on tickin’!
The owners also know their merchandise really well, and are very expedient and professional in providing terrific repair service in the event you ever need it.
