Walked in at 1:28 and the lady was changing her sign to go to lunch. Told me sorry she’d be back in an hour. Definitely not patient centered.

Either this place has no purpose in existing or I had really horrible customer service. I was bit by a Huskie late yesterday and have a few cuts from his teeth, and a puncture. It was an injury that didn’t require an ER visit but needed medical attention. The doctors in my area were booked up and not accepting walk ins. I called here to see if I could come in for them look at it and help with dressing the injuries. The woman said no and she was rather rude about the matter and tone speaking to me. So really what is the point of this places existence? Aren’t they here to serve people who don’t need emergency care but can’t wait to see a doctor and want medical help immediately? This makes no sense. And dial down the attitude especially if you are supposed to be helping sick or hurt people.

Amazing. In and out in no time and was treated by a very capable and competent individual. Melissa explained everything she was doing and why. Professional, clean, and well run.

I went to this clinic because I woke up with a small lump on my ankle that appeared overnight and I wanted to see if it was something I should be worried about. Even though I arrived at the clinic about 1 minute after they opened, there were 2 people ahead of me in line and I ended up waiting for 2 hours! I finally got in to see the NP and after examining the lump(soft, not red or itchy, only painful if i moved my foot around) she concluded that she had absolutely no clue what it could be and advised me to take ibuprofen if it bothered me. And oh yeah, that will be $ 79 please. So then I went to my GP and found out it was a ganglion cyst, something that is quite common and most likely will go away on its own.(Or you can smack it with a book, which I did successfully) I am pretty upset that I now have to pay 2 doctor bills for something that I think an educated NP should be able to diagnose! I called CVS billing to complain about this– asking that they reduce my bill because this NP’s ignorance of a common cyst caused me to have to go to my GP– but the manager, Jennifer, refused, saying that I received a full examination, thus I must pay my entire bill. I am extremely disappointed and will never go to a «Minute aka 2 hours and oh yeah we are ignorant of common medical conditions Clinic» ever again.

It’s allergy season, and once a year around this time I get pretty miserable. This morning I headed to the CVS Minute Clinic — it was my first time there. I called ahead to see if there was a wait since I needed to get to a meeting. I called the main number and someone went back and checked and told me to come now so I’d be first in line! So I rushed over(it’s just around the corner from house) and entered my information in the kiosk, and sure enough, within 5 minutes the nurse had me come in. The room was clean with just the right temperature. We discussed my symptoms. I grabbed the wrong insurance card on the way to the clinic, so she patiently waited for me in her office to call BCBS to get the information I needed. BC took a bit of time to get me my ID number, but we got it! This nurse had the patience of an angel! She took a few tests, and sent me to the pharmacy to pick up a prescription. Again, since I didn’t have the correct insurance information, the pharmacy picked up the phone and called for me and got all the information they needed. Everyone was extremely helpful and super nice. I was in and out with medication in hand within 30 minutes. Excellent customer service, super friendly and helpful. Not that I hope to be coming back here(knock on wood), but I’d return in a heartbeat!
