Mastodon Sporting Goods is an awesome small business located in Vernon area near the Cherry Ridge Range. The owner — Joe — is a lovely guy that will make you feel welcome and he genuinely appreciates your business. While I was at the shop two kids stopped by for bait, a local couple stopped to say Hi and he treated everyone with utmost respect.
Joe is super-​knowledgeable, does gunsmithing on the premises, sells, trades and has a reasonable FFL transfer price.
The shop has fishing and hunting supplies. Through his extensive network of dealers Mastodon owner can obtain almost any popular firearm at competitive price.
I highly recommend Mastodon Sporting Goods to any sporting enthusiast.

Excellent Gun smith. Will get you whatever you need, as well as clean and service your weapons for you. Conveniently located only a couple of miles from Cherry Ridge if you suddenly need ammo or other supplies. Also has fishing supplies (LIVE bait) and a small selection of tackle. Sell fishing licenses as well.
