I didn’t have much expectation from this place at first. But surprisingly, the food tasted not bad! And this is the first time I had a salad(cobb chicken salad) that had more protein than vegetables. They were really good at sautéing chicken!

Went there last summer after a trip at bear mountain and this restaurant is honestly the best breakfast place I’ve ever been to. Their dishes are huge, and the menu selection is awesome. They also have vegetarian omelettes! The waitresses are extremely kind and it’s such a family friendly environment. Exceptional place!

In short, this has become my go-to breakfast place when visiting West Point. I have been here maybe a half-dozen times or more — sometimes solo, sometimes with the family. I like this place. The staff is friendly and efficient, and the breakfast choices are hardy, varied, and satisfying. The coffee flows hot and fast. Andy’s has a classic, Northeastern diner feel with counter and table seating overlooking their open griddle and colored by the sounds of clattering dishes and banter between the regulars. I will be back again, maybe as soon as tomorrow.

Great place for breakfast. The Highland Falls Omelette was fantastic. Pretty sure it was cash-only due to the awful looking ATM machine in the center of the dining room. Service was great, waitresses were cute, food was excellent. Only complaint would be that it quickly got crowded and loud but didn’t take away from the overall experience. Oh, don’t expect to have cell service inside. None.

Just moved to the area and was not expecting to be so impressed with the service, food(especially the food), and friendliness of this establishment. I will continue to go here with my son since he was a huge fan as well. Oh, the coffee was fantastic!

BLUF: Affordable diner popular with locals and West Point Cadets out for a Sunday brunch. Andy’s is a small local diner with roughly ten tables in one room and a bar lining the kitchen in the other(also has another three small tables). To be honest, I have only gone to Andy’s on Sunday afternoons so my description maybe only accurate to this time but it is also crowded. Be prepared to wait 15+ minutes especially if you want a table. I always go for the Black Knight Omelet, scrambled with egg beaters(extra) and have never been disappointed. Their vast selection of pancakes is something worth trying as well. Worth a stop by if in the area but nothing to truely seek out.

Andy’s Diner is the perfect spot to catch a great lunch in Highland Falls. In a town that offers very little, Andy’s is certainly the exception. The patty melt was cooked to perfection and the service was excellent. Reasonably priced and consistently impresses.

Having lived in Oregon for years but being from New England, Andy’s brings me «back home». From the slam and jam pace of ordering and service to the banter that goes back and forth. They even let Joe, a fine Marine, in the place. He doesn’t get bothered by the Army folks, however, because he could kick anybody’s butt. Eddy on the grill is like watching a fine maestro in action. No matter how busy, he just keeps flowing and cranking out the orders. The Greek Orthodox family that owns and manages Andy’s is a delight. If you’re looking for some fine family chow in a warm, cozy diner setting, Andy’s is your place. You will leave with a smile and a full belly.

Food was decent. Décor is very dated and looks dusty. Waitress was nice. On a Sunday morning expect to wait in line to get a seat. Not because the food is so great but I believe it’s due to the large portions and there is no other restaurants in town other than fast food.

Poor quality food that gave me food poisoning the day of my wedding. I don’t recommend it.

BESTPANCAKESONTHEPLANET! I usually get the«Trucker’s Special» to fuel up during long bicycle rides. I’ve had pancakes at any number of places and these are the best.(Other places undercook them so they taste like gooey flour.) The eggs and sausages were prepared to order. I usually sit at the counter and have found service to be prompt and attentive. I’m there around 10AM so the breakfast«rush» may have wound down. Still, it’s my «go to» place in the area.

Got the black knight omelette, comes with delicious home fries. The goodness delicious, service was fast and friendly. Local newspaper in the counter. Clean, but not overly cute or fancy. The short order cook was fast and skillful and friendly. This is what a proper diner should be like. Simple, delicious, inexpensive and endless coffee.

Drove past so many times and finally decided to go today. Got there at 9:30 am and the place was packed… filled with West Point cadets mostly God bless them. Almost left the food took so long BUT I have to say the sausage, biscuits and gravy were excellent and plenty of it… Home fries tasty and a large amount. The breakfast sandwich was moist… delicious .Can’t remember which one but it had steak My b/f ordered that… YES I would go back but when less busy. Young kids working there so the service was a bit shaky but it’s old old OLD school good!

Worse customer service ever! We got seated right away. It took forever for the waitress to take our order. But she was so busy talking to everyone at the other tables. Once we finally got our food, she never checked on us but went to all the other tables… I guess you have to eat there all the time to get good customer service. I won’t go back. The food was just ok, but super greasy eggs! Oh and I had to get her attention to get our check…

Best breakfast in Highland Falls. I always order the black knight omelet(sans sausage). The service is wonderful and fast. The food comes fast and is hot and tasty. I have only ever had their breakfast so this review has nothing to do with any other meal.

Small local eatery — filled with locals and West Point Cadets for Sunday early afternoon dining. I had the cheese omelet with bacon, grits instead of home fries, rye toast, OJ and coffee. Surprised to see grits on the menu this far north but was pleased to give them a try. They were quite good — not lumpy or instant! Service was good considering the crowd and size of the café. I sat at the counter because there was a line for the few tables! Overall, a good local Experience — which is what I always look for when I travel.

Great greasy spoon diner. Had a huge breakfast, well underpriced for the portion size. The waitress was great, never allowed my coffee cup to get empty. Nice touch, the chef likes to come out and say hi. Great little home town friendly diner. I can’t wait to try lunch!!!
