This the only B&B to visit and stay while in High Springs. The welcome by Paul and Lucie is just the start of your spectacular stay. The rooms are well appointed The town offers some very good and interesting dinning experiences near by are the springs which is well worth a visit, a great family tubing adventure. The breakfast was out of this world, fresh fruit and cream, fresh baked scones, coffee cake(warm) .i thought that was it, when the to die for pancakes arrived delivered by Lucie while Paul expounded about the inn and interesting history —

Paul and Lucie are the quintessential outstanding B&B hosts. Paul educated us on the wonders of a ‘Bubbler’ while Lucie brewed up a terrific breakfast that was sumptuous AND healthy! A warm welcome, easygoing recommendations to allow off the beaten track diversions of interest and an outstanding personalized stay characterize their stay memory. Each member of my family were addressed by their name from Hello to See Again Soon. Engaging our interests and 1 to 1 conversation for every one of us was typical. The home was meticulously maintained, extremely comfortable and ALL the«little things» were thought of and just right. For a 6 mile detour off the I-75 north Florida stretch, this is a wonderful way to begin your vacation before you get to the beach! Stop, stay and you’ll learn how to relax on your way to or from!

The Grady house is the highlight of our trips to the Gainsville area. On our first stay, we were going to Bush Gardens the 2nd day, Lucies breakfast was so wonderful the first day that I broke a long standing tradition of being at the park when it opened! Yes we are biased since we’ve stayed several times, but we’ve felt like family every time.

Paul and Lucie are so inviting and the breakfast Lucie makes cannot be beat. We went to the Itchnetucknee after and didnt need lunch till 3! It is nice to be so close to the itchentucknee, you can get there early to get your spot and not have to wake up at 5:00 Beautifully manicured yards/garden + elegant and cozy on the inside.

My girlfriend and I took a weekend getaway to High Springs. We wanted to make the most of our weekend, and since we were only staying for one night we decided to get to The Grady House earlier than check-in. Paul graciously welcomed us in and we instantly were made to feel right at home. Not only were Paul and Lucie helpful and friendly with restaurant and activity recommendations, but the house itself was warm and cozy, with wonderful accomodations and a beautiful backyard full of tables and gardens. Lucie cooked an absolutely delicious breakfast that made our bellies smile. Also, they were happy to accomodate our vegetarian lifestyle. If you are looking for a relaxing adventure, the Mill Creek Horse Farm is just a short drive away where you can feed and pet retired and abandoned horses, which Paul filled us in on. Great food, soft bed, wonderful company, and adorable dalmations. Cannot wait to visit again.
