This little restaurant is nothing to be underestimated! It offers a truly diverse menu of sushi both simple and specialty; all of the ones I’ve sampled so far each packed their own distinct punch of well-crafted flavor. I really don’t think you can go wrong with any sushi roll on their menu. As a plus, every meal comes with free complimentary little appetizers– fried chicken, snap peas, and fried wontons– that are great to snack on while waiting for your food. Service was warm and friendly. I can’t speak for the rest of their food since I’ve only had their sushi, however, I do recommend this restaurant if you’re looking to satisfy your sushi cravings for a manageable price.

Waitress knew it was our first time, brought out free appetizers. Had a wonderful experience, food was delicious and plated up to perfection. We snuck in the VIP entrance!

Some of the best sushi I’ve had so far in land. We were seated right away. They could use a bit more outside presents because when we arrived wasn’t quite sure if they were open or closed. The staff was very friendly which made our visit that much more pleasant. The food presentation was nice, you can never go wrong with a sushi boat. Will definitely visit again next time in the area

I love the service here. And the sushi just taste better than surrounding places. Not that the other places close by are bad, it’s just better here. And neat little free appetizers.

I had some pretty awesome hibachi chicken from Little Tokyo’s, this was my first visit here and I actually prefer Little Tokyo now over my old standy-by for hibachi that’s right up the street. The chicken, rice and vegetables were all perfect and plenty of it. The lunch special was $ 8 and some change. I got my order to go, but they have a really nice little dining area with a little sushi bar. I saw some of sushi that was being brought out to some of the tables and they looked like little works of art. I’ll be stoppin’ in here more often no doubt.

We stopped by Little Tokyo on a whim and we were THOROUGHLY satisfied. The food was absolutely delicious and its presentation was beautiful. My husband(who doesn’t eat sushi) loved the sushi. The service and staff were wonderful. Definitely can’t wait to come back and try more!

This is our typical go-to sushi restaurant in the area. The service is always great, and the food is always fresh and tasty, and they have selections you just can’t find everywhere. Plus buy 1 get 1 hot sake is a big bonus too! The atmosphere is pretty standard, but with some booths that are separated by curtain-like cloth across them. Very intimate, and our favorite place to sit if we can. There’s also a sushi bar with seats, and quite a few other regular tables set around a central divider, again for a nice sense of privacy. We’ve had a lot of rolls and nigiri here, and it’s all been wonderful. There’s really something for everyone. I am especially impressed that they serve a mackerel roll with mackerel on top of sushi rice. Very simple, but really great quality mackerel. Most places, even high-end sushi places don’t carry mackerel always, and it’s one of our favorites. They have the basic rolls that are California rolls with some sort of extra additions, and many other of the basics. The other rolls they have invented, or gotten elsewhere are also well done, we’ll presented, and good quality. Also, almost everytime we’ve gone we’ve been presented with free sample appetizers. It’s always 5 of them. Edamame, corn/crab salad, fried wonton strips with a slightly spicy yet tasty sauce, small pieces of boneless fried chicken with honey sauce, and I think seaweed salad. All of it is good. I’m not saying you get a full order of each, but for a nice, free introduction to your meal is really wonderful. The miso soup is good. I prefer more mushrooms and tofu in mine, but the flavor is rich, and it tastes great anyway. The standard house salad with ginger dressing is one of the best I’ve had. The dressing is wonderfully done, and I’ve tried a lot of ginger dressing at sushi places. It isn’t the most fancy, high-end sushi place you can visit. But, it’s a wonderful neighborhood addition. Casual, comfortable, with reliably, consistently great food. We’re very happy is so close to our home!

I was very much in the mood for sushi and wanted to give this place its fair shake. I’m really a fan of how the place is laid out firstly but the atmosphere overall was nice. Our server was very nice. We were her only table so she got a little annoying as she stopped by our table about every 2.5 minutes. Yes, we are still fine and thanks much. There was another server that had a table just beyond us. Every time he walked by he reeked of cigarette smoke. It lingered in the air after every pass and we were all very off put by it. The sushi was average at best. I asked for the two most popular rolls. I don’t hold out hope for the rest of the sushi rolls of these were their best. The mini free appetizers were actually really good. We weren’t a fan of their dumplings at all. They tasted as if they had been in the freezer too long. Their fried rice was clearly old, tough, and bland. I wouldn’t serve that to anyone… every. I doubt highly that we will be back.

Great sushi place. Quick service. Excellent menu choices. I have discovered this restaurant fairly recently, in the last 6 months or so but have already visited many times. If you are looking to try some good sushi and hibachi meals, try this place!

Fantastic Sushi for a great price! They have a very authentic feel with the restaurant décor! I like that they have photos for most of the specialty rolls so you know what you are getting, its kinda idiot proof for sushi beginners!

I will make this quick, order the sushi bento box, it is fresh, tasty and goes well with mineral water. The sashimi is awesome too. When you order it, you get a salad and miso soup.

We found this gem through Unilocal(of course!). It was great. Walking in we saw they were super busy and after we ate we knew why. The prices are reasonable and the portions are more than generous. I got one of the bento boxes and am allergic to the fake crab that came in the pieces of «sushi» included. I certainly would have understood if they had a «no substitutions» policy, but they graciously offered to substitute the fake crab with cream cheese. Service was slightly slow, it seemed like there was only one waitress working the whole floor. Nevertheless, when my bento box came out with the fake crab inadvertently in it, the waitress accepted responsibility and said it was the way she wrote the ticket that made it come out wrong. She quickly corrected it, although she did ask me to take the 4 pieces of incorrect sushi off my platter and place them on a small plate she brought.(I wasn’t going to eat them but I certainly hope they didn’t serve them to someone else! I suspect they did.) Other than that small hiccup, it was awesome. We’ll go back.

Went for dinner here and ordered the Sushi Bento Box D. Everything was good. The only thing I didn’t like was a few pieces of sashimi were almost frozen. Good sign the fish wasn’t sitting out. I’ll will go back next time I’m in the area.

The best sushi in the Triad area! Great, affordable prices and the freshest ingredients. Wine specials and the kit kats at the end of the meal were the icing on the cake! My husband and I will come again for sure!

I love Japanese food and I have a high standard for Japanese food, so I should know this is not the right place for me. I found this place on Unilocal only because my boyfriend craved for some sushi. It is like one of the typical Japanese restaurants in a small US city or town. Maybe a bit better but not much. The only thing worth mentioning is their salmon sashimi, it’s pretty good, but everything else is not even average compare to same level restaurants in bigger cities. Maybe it’s the best they can do in Greensboro/High Point.

The time has gone by so I felt the need to update my previous review. This place definitely has great sushis(never went back tho). I haven’t been impressed by anything they cooked and it takes forever to get it. So not a good plan for lunch. But if you stick with sushis, everything should be fine(and tasty).

Being a true Japanese, I usually try not to go to a Japanese restaurant in «small town USA». That is simply because of my past negative experiences. But I did today and this time was no exception. I came here for dinner today and ordered Sushi Bento Box B(please see my photo) and it looked nice at a glance, but the fish was a little bit on the dry side and the texture was that of defrosted fish. The sashimi pieces were sliced small and thin, and my expensive a la carte Fatty Tuna Nigiri 2pcs were also dry and tasted like it was just defrosted. It was totally lacking fatty-ness. Only the sashimi salmon slices had good taste/texture. Well, at least I now know where to avoid in GSO.

Our lunch here yesterday was quite pleasant, the food was excellent, and the service was at least that good. This is one of those places you have to be looking for to find, you are unlikely to just run across it. It is located in one of the new warrens of business buildings off Premier Drive, near Highway 68. The restaurant is small, nicely decorated — a good setting for an enjoyable meal. They have the usual Hibachi choices(including a Lunch Box Hibachi for $ 10.50), some very tasty appetizers, sushi and sashimi dishes(including a very nice Sashimi Meal for $ 12.95), and some soup and salads. We were quickly seated, menus placed, and drink orders secured. We decided on Spring Rolls($ 5.50), Fried Rice Balls($ 4.95), Lunch Box Hibachi with steak, the Sashimi Meal with a side of Sushi Rice, Green Tea($ 1.95), and a 12 ounce bottle of Kirin($ 3.50). We were started off with a small, complimentary dish of a delicious Crab Salad containing yellow corn and macaroni — a very nice beginning, and adding a little soy sauce brought out all the flavors. The appetizers were out quickly, and both were excellent — with the Spring Rolls being as good as I’ve found in this area — crispy outside, fresh tasting filling, and no greasiness. The Rice Balls were nice as well, and both serving were ample. The Lunch Hibachi comes with meat, veggies, salad, rice of choice, 2 pork goyza, and 4 pieces of California Roll. Everything was simply topnotch — the steak tender, cooked perfectly to order; the pork dumplings were out of sight tasty(will order as a separate next time); the veggies crisp and fresh tasting; the rice was perfect; and the Cali Roll was solid. Box is beautifully plated The Sashimi Meal was composed of 9 pieces(4 Salmon, 3 Tune, &2 Snapper) of super sashimi — in fact, the Salmon was as good as I’ve tried lately, firm, not at all mushy. The Sushi Rice was excellent, sticky, with a hint of sweetness. This meal was also beautifully plated, with colorful flowers as a part of it. The service was simply superb, friendly and attentive, even as the place grew rather busy. Overall, considering value, quality, service and atmosphere, I’m not sure there is a better«quick service» Japanese restaurant in the Triad, and it challenges all of the upscale ones, as well. We need to try a few more dishes, especially more sushi. They also offer Shabu-Shabu at $ 25 per person, with a day’s notice required — this can be an excellent, and different, meal. We’ll be back, soon.
