Hobby Lobby

Hobby Lobby, (for my Jersey Shore friends) is a basic mix of A.C. Moore’s, Party City and Homegoods. All kinds of knick knacks and wall hangings for every room in your home. Funky lamps, mirrors, photo frames for every occasion, crafts, fabric, canvases, vases, flowers and holiday decorations. They have a good couple of aisles of children’s crafts; my kids LOVE cruising those aisles. You can definitely plan a fabulous theme party for both children and adults and get everything you need here at Hobby Lobby; cups, plates, decorations, invitations, thank you cards and thank you gifts.
My justification for 3 stars… Lots of items are 30−50% off, however, I find their prices to be somewhat on the high side (even being on sale). Especially since most of the items are «made in China». C’mon…don’t over-​up-​charge.
I wished their candle & candle holder section was bigger; would love to see Yankee or Village Candles in all scents and sizes. Employees and customer service are both helpful and polite, but I find there’s only 1 – 2 registers open at a time and there’s definitely not enough employees walking around to help customers. Being new to the area and new to Hobby Lobby, I was in need of assistance just about every time I’ve shopped here and have found no one to help me while I wander aimlessly around the store.
I’ll definitely continue to come here and browse around; it’s a great place to get home decorating ideas as well as a great place to cruise around with the kids on a rainy day. We spent over an hour here this morning while it downpoured outside and my kids were very happy to have passed the time away at Hobby Lobby.

This Hobby Lobby just recently opened (Still having their Grand Opening) in High Point! The building is a stand alone and has its own parking lot! The store is neatly organized but very large (looks just like all other Hobby Lobby Stores). When you walk in they have provided a sales ad as well as a map of the store for you convenience.
Check out is a bit slow while training is taking place and the lines are long right now since the store is new and attracting many new shoppers. On the up side, the staff members are very helpful, friendly to chat with and willing to show you where to find all of your crafting needs! Looks like all the kinks will be worked out soon!
