Ordered take out most of the food was not hot just barley warm I ordered the lunch special burger fries drink the burger was very dry and the the fries were soft I also orders the cheese sticks the breading was so thick it clumped off the cheese the only thing that I ordered that was good was the garlic Parmesan wings they were hot and tasted very good I don’t think this place will be on my list of must go to places, but if I’m in the area I would order the wings

Best pizza in town. Definitely beats the overrated pizzas around. I always get the 2 large 2 topping deal. Steak with green peppers and pepperoni with black olives. Yum!

Ordered delivery. The guy on the phone was friendly and patient. I’ve never eaten here before and have never seen their menu. The food hit the spot, the potato wedges were awesome. Im full and have half of my sub and chocolate cake left still! Perfect for dinner later. Nice and fair pricing. :) I think I found my new delivery go to !

Well where do I start? Looks decent from the outside, beside the lights burnt out in their sign… Once you step inside ambience is lacking. There is random seven wonders of the world murals on the wall. Tables aren’t very clean and need some sprucing up. That includes the floors too. Don’t get me wrong, the owner is super nice! Service is usually great. They just need to liven up the place. Prices are very reasonable. Food is okay. Not much to rave about. Needed to be more seasoning. I don’t exactly crave this place.

We had some family over, and they offered to pickup so food from here — We’d never tried the food here, and they do make a Stromboli, so why not? They picked up a variety of items, so we had a chance to taste a nice sample of their food. The Pizza(Cheese with extra cheese — $ 2.10 a slice) was just ok — it could be very good IF there was more tomato sauce, and IF it were spread evenly. The majority of the sauce(and it is nice) was at the top, near the crust, and it had some great flavor. Wouldn’t try again unless the sauce was dealt with. Double Cheeseburger($ 3.99PLUS70 cents to add Cheese, L, T, & Mayo) was just ordinary at best. The beef had no flavor. Would not try it again. The Hot Dog(($ 1.75) was suprisingly good, a touch on the sweet side due to the slaw — might try the dog again, not a bad value. The FFs($ 1.75) were awlful, & the Onion Rings($ 1.95) only slightly better — no repeat on either. The Spaghetti with meat sauce($ 6.99 with a house salad) was pretty good, though the sauce is rather mild. The Small, Regular Stromboli($ 6.99) was outstanding, if a little thin on meat. It had a nice crust, was loaded with cheese, and was well sized — didn’t look small, at all. Would definitely order the Stromboli again, and might take another shot at the Spaghetti. Probably be back at some point, at least for the Stromboli.

Awesome pizza! Try the High Point style and add chicken! I also like their Greek Chicken Sub! They marinate it in this awesome Italian-like sauce! I ordered their hot chips and you can tell the grease in the fryer was not changed recently. It just had that taste… I have a feeling when you order any of the appetizers they are frozen and just popped in the deep fryer. They also use the liquid cheese on their potato skins! Gross! I am sticking to their pizza and chicken sub!

I figured i’d write a review about this place because I typically order from here about once every few weeks. I have been ordering from here for a few years now, and have never had an issue like the one described below thankfully! Then again, I’ve never tried to use any discounts either. I found out about this place from co-workers who swore by it, saying they used beef pepperoni. I personally don’t care about that, but they said the pizza was really good. I tried it and have been hooked every since! I typically get he XL1-topping special for $ 7.99 with either pepperoni or sliced sausage. The pizza tastes like quality ingredients are used-great mozz, and a tasty slightly chewy crust. The sauce tastes like tomatoes-not sweet or spicy, and it’s thin on the pizza(like I like it!), speaking of thin-the crust is thin, but a little thinker than the extremely thin NY style. This pizza is reminiscent of NY-style, but I would’t call it NY style. The slices are not nearly as big, nor flimsy-but it’s still a great slice of pizza! As it relates to management, the owner is always there working and has always been nice to me. He is polite and carries on casual convo. I Think they are Egyptian b/c they have pictures of pyramids near the cash register which we spoke about in the past. He was friendly revealing to me the lady was his sis… I hate Shane A. had that experience because he and the staff truly seem like genuine people. The only con I have is the sandwich and the sometime-y wings. Back in the day, they had fried wings that were dipped in your choice of breader. I personally don’t like breader on my wings… then I tried then and they had no batter! I was confused but thought it was just me. I saw on their new website the wings had no breader, so if that truly is the case-I may try it again. The sandwich on the other hand… the bread was excellent, tasted fresh baked Italian hoagie type, but the contents were meh. I got the Italian-ham, turkey, salami… it was regular grocery store slices and only one of each! :-O The veggies were typical and fresh, but to call it skimpy is an understatement. Believe it or not, it still had great flavor, but it was just not worth the money or time he spent to make it. I won’t EVER get that again… although I still crave the bread at times! I don’t like the pics of the other sandwiches and am scared it may be skimpy again, so I think i’ll just stick to pizza!

To start this review I want to let EVERYONE know that I bought a coupon for $ 5.00 which gives you $ 10.00 off of a $ 20.00 purchase. I arrived and Ordered 2 #2 combo’s Plain.(Philly steak) That would cost a total of 8.74 each with extra meat making the total 17.48. I don’t eat cheese or peppers or onions or mushrooms on my sandwich so I am actually saving this place quite a bit of money by ordering the sandwiches plain. Because I used a coupon everything changes and must be rang up at full menu price causing the total to escalate to 27.91 after they added in 18 percent gratuity. So let’s do the math…27.91(including the coupon cost of 5.00) for 2 combos??? If I had no coupon I would have gotten the food for 17.48. So after the 10.00 discount from the coupon it made my total 17.91. Why did I just pay more for food WITH A COUPON? Someone could have walked in off the street without a coupon and got a better price than I did? I paid for this coupon. The owner even said to me at the register that it makes no sense and proceeded to go about his business as if he could care less. This is restaurant that does nothing in terms of waiting on you. You must get your drink at a self-service fountain. Place your order at the counter and anything you need you must come up to the register and ask for it. So why am I paying an 18% gratuity? The owner wouldn’t let me order the combo as he said it was already discounted with a coupon!!! I said, «It’s a #2 combo, there is nothing about the combo menu saying that you must have a coupon to get that price.» He continued to argue that it was a special and that I couldn’t order that with a coupon. When the food came out, the sandwiches did not have extra meat on them so I asked for the owner to come out and speak with me as I already was boiling over the situation. The owner argued with me for about 10 mins, we were both raising our voices and it looked like a scene out of a movie. I couldn’t believe that an owner would act as if the customer isn’t right. He jerked the food up off the table and asked us to leave and that he would refund our money. We continued arguing at the register and screaming at each other until we finally left. An employee in the back even said that I come in there all the time(which I do) and acted as if he was on my side about the situation. I was just in shock that a true loyal customer is screamed at, yelled at, disrespected in front of other customers and didn’t appreciate my business at all. All the business that I have given them… Just totally blows me away. I will NEVER patronize this business again. I am surprised they are still in business, especially after seeing how the owner treats a loyal customer who even bought a coupon to come back to his place of business. NEVER again will I go back. Do yourself a favor and do not patronize this business. They don’t appreciate you or the hard earned money that you spend there.

High Point Grille is a Pizza/Sub restaurant in the building facing Eastchester near La Fiesta and Oso. They have excellent NY style pizza. They have a full array of hot subs, strombolis and even great hot wings. If you visit-the cheesecake is a must –very, very good cheesecake. The staff and Owners are ultra-courteous people. I am not too sure of the critique Shane A. talks of below.(.I don’t know what to make of a guy that stands in front of a mirror and takes a picture of himself who actually vists palm-readers?!! LOL) Atmosphere is par for grabbing a quick meal but not a dining type est. for a date.
