I give them five stars, I have been in there at the weekend, the food is very good and services is very nice, I think that’s why, they are so busy. I like this restaurant

10 years ago this was one of the best Chinese buffets in the area. How the mighty have fallen. Every dish I tried on this trip was overcooked, sticky, tasteless, or all three. That’s been the case the past few times I’ve been as well. I’m finally giving up on this place. I give them two stars because the service is at least friendly and attentive. But if you’re looking for a Chinese buffet there are many, many better ones around.

This place has gone down hill over the years. Dinner buffet is $ 10.69+$ 1.79 for a drink. Seating has cracked vinyl seats, which aren’t comfortable to sit on. Food on the buffet is overcooked and does not look appetizing. We came for dinner on a Tuesday night… wasn’t too busy. Maybe a sign. I will not come back.

Kind associates, always fresh buffet, full service hibachi grill and fair prices. I enjoy my visits to this restaurant.

This was a buffet style of Chinese, and had one section of American food(probably for the kids). The food while nothing spicy, was good for a buffet style, They had many prawn dishes(including salt-baked-prawns in their shell), and fried, etc. that were not bad. Various chicken, and wings in various styles, beef dishes that were tender, and assortments of sushi that was not too bad, crab stuff shells, and noodles, fried rice. All it all, just ok but a lot of food for the dollar. Desserts and cut fruit was fresh. While this is NOT China Town or California, by local standards, we are lucky to have a place that cooks Chinese. I can see my self coming here again as there are few ports in the storm. Restrooms were clean. Service was friendly. Saw many folks here with their children for lunch that seemed to be having a great time. 336−886−8588

Ever wanted a bad case of the shits? Well this is the place for you. Should be marketed as a Mexican and Chinese buffet as there seems to be a lot of Mexican dishes on the line. Most foods either under or over cooked. Bad service as well. Yes, it is a buffet but customers still need drink refills and a bill in a timely manner.

DISGUSTING!!! Fish was spoiled, kids running rampid sticking their hands in the food, 80 degrees inside, could not get service. Insanely loud, packed and just down right gross. Smelled sickening. The health department definitely needs to shut it down.

The worst Chinese in the Triad. The fish was spoiled. All other food was either over cooked or under cooked. The wait staff was inattentive. Eating utensils were dirty. The restroom smelled of urine. The health department needs to make a visit…

The food was horrible and dry. Mostly flavorless and others were soaked with sauce that made it watery. THISISNOT A CHINESEBUFFET! The kitchen had Mexicans cooking and putting out the food. there was also Mexican food in the buffet. This must explain why the Chinese food tasted so horrible. I would NEVER go back here!

This is the fourth area Chinese super buffet that we have tried, and this one measures up very well. This one doesn’t have quite the number of items that you find at Chine Buffet or Ichiban in Greensboro, but it still has a gracious plenty to choose from. Each of the super buffets has a few dishes that are unique to them — here it is Mexican Chicken(yeah, I thought the same thing), Pork Taco(see previous comment), Fried Chicken(definitely Southern style), and Onion Rings — frozen, but not half bad. There are probably some other unique items here, but I grew weary. This is pretty solid Americanized Chinese fare(I grew up on it, and I still love it, with no apologizes) — the Pepper Steak was nice, loaded with fresh, crisp slices of onion and green pepper; the Fried Rice was done well, grains separated, flavors clear; the Egg Roll was also decent(a rarity for buffets). The Gen’l Tso’s was really very nice — crispy exterior, some decent heat, not too sweet. The Wings were good — tinted a slight red in color — but there was no heat, so it wasn’t from Texas Pete. The Fried Shrimp was ok, though under-seasoned(you know, more salt). The Mexican Chicken was really nice — good flavor, plenty of large slices of Jalapeño, very good heat — I tried two servings to be sure. The Pork Taco was not an item I would try again — not bad, just not worth straying from the more traditional Chinese items. The Fried Chicken was not bad, but I’d pass on this for other items. Onions Rings — ditto. One down note: there was NO Black Pepper Chicken here — I consider this both a party foul, and a serious breach of Sino-American relations. Should this be missing on my next visit(oh yeah, there will be a next visit), I will strongly consider writing a pithy letter to someone. Good service here — young, friendly ladies all around — never found the bottom of my drink. Lunch cost is $ 7.59 — that is a Value Meal.

Ehh, i was told by many to go try China KING, IT’S THEBEST!!! Well, i went, i ate, and was not impressed. Food lacked flavor, bland. They put their crab claws in this gunky glue crap. When you have to break them up with your hand, you get all this glooby crap all over your hands, it’s nasty! They don’t even offer proper crab claw tools to break them open with. I see people feasting down on the raw salmon and raw seafood from the sushi bar, if they only knew what they were consuming. That fish is not sushi grade, it’s probably cheap, farm raised garbage. If it was sushi grade, the buffet would be way more exspensive. Moving on, i ran into some shrimp wrapped in bacon that seemed pretty good, until i flipped it over and realized it was(undercooked) on the other side, just gross. Who wants to chew on fatty, raw looking bacon? I will say this,$ 24.92 was not worth it at all. I feel like i flushed my money right down the toilet. I am partial to Habachi Grill and supreme Buffet on South Main St., their food has soo much more flavor, and they have cheese buns! My fave. Needless to say, i won’t be going back to China yuck King.

I USED to eat here with the family until the business charged me twice on my debit card for a transaction I made over seven months ago. Yes, you read that correctly. 7 months ago. According to the bank, they already collected on their payment and they ran my card again. Now my card is cancelled and a fraud claim is pending. Better pay cash if you eat here.

INEXCUSABLEINCIDENT: UNCONCERNEDMANAGEMENT. We have eaten at China King for many years, and dined there Sunday afternoon during a very busy time. I went to the ladies room during which time a male staff entered and began cleaning up. I shouted out my presence, but he continued working. When he came in, I saw his face peer into the crack of the door, so he knew a lady was present. I hollered again, and again he ignored. He stared at me as I left and continued working. I was shocked and very upset. I immediately notified the manager who shrugged it off and that was it! WEWILLNEVERGOBACK!!!

Who knew? China King is freaking popular. Our group of 6 was even on a short waitlist Friday night. I guess if you want to feed a bunch of people a lot of food for pretty cheap, this is the place to go… weekend dinner prices are 9.99 a head. The buffet is pretty diverse; ye olde sesame chicken alongside a small dim sum selection and even fresh rolled sushi. Non Chinese food lovers can get their fill of steak, salmon, and mac n’ cheese. And desserts cover a spread of sesame balls to banana pudding to pumpkin pie. The sushi was not tasty, and actually, the(warm) temperature in the room concerned me a bit. Didn’t stop me from eating some though! I also downed a few of the raw oysters, and they weren’t bad. Dim sum wasn’t up to par, except for the coconut ones which were a great texture and really yummy! The Chinamerican food was as expected. But if you’re looking for some simple, cheap Chinese, this place won’t do you wrong!

This might be the only Chinese«super» buffet in High Point. I can’t say I’m a big fan of these establishments, but you do get a lot of food for what you pay. It’s $ 7.99 for all-you-can-eat lunch and $ 9.99 after 4pm. The only difference between lunch and dinner, as far as I can tell, is they bring out raw oysters, steamed flounder, and snow crab legs in the evening. Other than that, this place has all the typical Chinese buffet items. They also have cheap sushi(nigiri sometimes), soup, salad, a few dim sum items, and a variety of seafood. Ice cream served upon request. This place is a good value when compared to other large Chinese buffets in bigger cities, but the food quality is average at best. The restaurant can seat a lot of people and on the weekends, it does get busy.

The sushi selections are pretty small and the sizes are pretty small too. The taste of it is not all that bad. It’s average tasting and there are not that many places to eat at High Point, NC. Well, there are not much at all in these neck of the woods. The price is very cheap compared to the buffets in California. If you don’t eat a lot, dont worry because if you fill up your plate with shrimps, clams, ribs, or anything, you’ll pay for your meal. Really cheap and worth the try. it’s so-so tasting but for the price, you can’t beat it!

We were desperate for something other than diner food and barbecue. While driving by, China King appeared and we took a chance. All in all, it wasn’t too bad. All you can eat from a variety different dishes. A lot of chicken dishes and not much beef or pork. There was a very small sampling of sushi. I was scared to try, but it was good nevertheless. The salad bar was nonexistent, which seems normal for this part of the country. If I had to do it again, I wouldn’t say ‘no’.
