What an exquisite meal! We began by ordering an appetizer of nachos, almost as good as if Macho el Camacho made it himself. The service was excellent, especially when our bus girl was a fellow party animal. I proceeded to order the ZoSo pizza, a scrumptious choice that certainly hits the spot. The crust was the perfect combination of crispy and juicy, the pineapple fresh from the market. Watching the bustle of High Point traffic from our street-side booth, I truly felt the city overcome me. In conclusion, the night was truly made by the interesting yet thought-provoking institution.

Take advantage of those Talk of the Town coupons in the mail. This is how I learned about Blue Rock. Casual, good for all ages restaurant located across from Longhorn on North Main. Two friendly servers assisted us today, Jeremy and Courtney. My colleague started lunch with a Briny Melon pale ale, which she described as perfect for summer heat. For appetizers, we split the Bavarian pretzels dipped in honey mustard sauce made with extra brown sugar, and cheese dip. Can’t go wrong with the 16″ Trippin Billies pizza, made with portabellas, spinach, rosemary, and other tasty oils and spices. Last but not least, finish your meal with the Raspberry White Chocolate cheese Brulee, which one person can actually finish!

This is a cumulative review over the last couple visits, but last night was the final straw. Revisited last night to see a local band. Let me preface by stating they were very busy. However, 15 minutes at the bar with cash in hand to order a drink while four bartenders wait on the same six couples is ridiculous. After finally getting service, the barkeep handed me a plastic cup half beer and half foam. While she walked away she shouted something over her shoulder at me about changing the keg and it would have to do? C’mon. Ordered pizza later, against my better judgement. Took forever, but they were busy. The pizza we got wasn’t what we ordered. Mentioned it to the waitress and she’s indifferent. «What do you expect me to do?» We ate it anyway, got the check, had a different pizza on the check. So, we ordered one pizza, got a different pizza than what we ordered, and was charged for a third different pizza. I got charged for two beers I didn’t order, but I didn’t get charged for her drink. So I guess it balanced out? Good luck finding a manager. Keep the kids out of the bar. Seriously. I know it’s PC to make everything family friendly these days, but the only thing keeping this place from becoming Chuck E Cheese is a whackamole machine. Finally got my aforementioned half cup of foam and some kid running through the bar hit my elbow and I had 2⁄3 cup of foam. So, and I know management doesn’t care what I think, but we aren’t going back. The food is just okay, but way overpriced and hit and miss on whether or not you actually get what you order. Service is atrocious, the bartenders and waitresses literally do not care. Piss poor attitudes, requests met with shrugs and indifference. One thing they are good at is vanishing. It’s actually the same amount of difficulty to get the check as it is to get a drink. Ridiculous. Usually wait staff is Johnny on the spot with the bill, but not here. The ambiance is like Disneyland. If you want to get some pizza and drinks with your wife or friends and not listen to screaming kids running around like a McD’s Playplace, don’t go here. Actually if you want good food at a decent price, don’t go here either. It’s an embarrassment.

Wonderful place to eat and be with friends. I had the St. Stephens sandwich. It was a wonderful combination of finely shaved chicken, prosciutto, roasted eggplant and pesto that has a taste explosion in your mouth. It is served on a crusty ciabatta bread and a side of fries. All very reasonably priced. The only bad part is parking is hard at this location.

This place has a fun atmosphere and great customer service. Their pizza is pretty good too. My favorites are the salads and the nachos, those are a must have when dining here!

Amazing steak and cheese subs and wings! Will come back for sure. Bartender could have been a little more engaging. But overall, great place!

Great find in High Point. Always come here at least once when we visit our HPU student. It’s close to school and the food is consistently good. Have eaten at both the bar and table area service was good at both. Love the crust on their pizza. Always crunchy but not tough. I’m a lover of pepperoni so I always get that. I’m never disappointed.

I feel like the food quality as a 4 but we are going to go with a 3 due to following reasons: Staff was very absent during meal. It was before a shift change it seemed like and they were busy visiting with each other. When we got our check, I had an up charge added for asking for an extra ranch dressing to go with my wings. Now I understand the needs of a business to make money and whatnot but it wasn’t like I asked for 5 sides of ranch. One would not have broken the camels back. Now onto the food. The nachos were amazing. Pulled pork fresh avocado the creamiest cheese and chipotle creama. I will go back just for the nachos! We also got the traditional buffalo wings.(Ranch fiasco) They were typical but good. The pizza was inventive and delicious. We got the Zoso and it had fresh not canned pineapple on it. Superb. The crust is hand tossed so the edge is chewy and perfect. It had a great amount of cheese. This place is kinda spendy; you should know that going in as it is a gourmet pizza place along the lines of mellow mushroom but with a rocker edge instead of the hippie vibe.

Tried them again. And nothing has changed. Owner was very rude. And acted like we didn’t matter. He told us that they are always busy. And we must be doing something right. That is not the way to treat customer. The pizza was over cooked. Service was very slow. It’s just pizza .It should be very easy and simple. There prices are the highest in High Point. There are too many other places to eat pizza in High Point. If you’re from out of town .Don’t go there!!!

Great place to have a laid back meal with friends. KInda had the mellow mushroom vibe going on. The Place was clean and the waitstaff friendly. I had St. Stephen sandwhich which consisted of. Shaved chicken, prosciutto, grilled eggplant, arugula, pesto aioli, ciabatta — and came with a large portion of fries! I dipped my fries in the white balsamic-basil vinaigrette they have. That dressing was amazing!!! I hope to go back soon to try other menu items.

I’m torn between giving this place a 3 or a 4. The food was delicious, but our waitress openly admitted to «totally forgetting» about bringing us our drinks and then«forgot» to refill them. I don’t understand how someone can simply forget about the customer. On a positive note, the food is awesome. The pizza was cooked to perfection and the chips and dip were amazing. If I return, I will make sure to get my food to go because the service was absolutely horrid.

What happened to the pulled pork nachos, Blue Rock??? The last few visits that we ordered the nachos they had a bright orange, suspicious looking cheese… not the wonderful, liquidy fontina cheese that we’ve come to crave! The new cheese wasn’t bad by any means, just different and of a lesser quality than what we’ve grown to love. I have tried more pizzas and a few different salads. The salads are AMAZING!

Yesterday was my first visit here, and the pizza was great. Very high quality ingredients, and quite flavorful. Based on that experience alone, I’d give it 4 stars. BUT, I am giving it three. And here’s why.. . Check out the screenshot of the menu. The menu shows a 16″ pizza priced at $ 13.25. It asks me to pick my base, choose my toppings, and then says«All pizzas come with mozzarella cheese». When they say«All pizzas come with mozzarella cheese», what they really mean to say is «A 16» pizza is $ 13.25PLUS $ 2.00 for the mandatory mozzarella cheese. So why not just say the 16″ pizza is $ 15.25, if you’re going to say ALL pizzas«come with» mozzarella? If I buy a gadget and it says«comes with batteries», should I assume I have to pay extra for the batteries already inside the box? I just don’t get it. And no, it’s not a huge deal. It’s $ 2.00. But it does reflect poorly on the entire restaurant, when you have to study the bill to try and figure out why it has increased 10% over what you expected. Why put the staff and the customer through that? Just change the price of the pizza. Anyhow, I’ll probably return here, but with full knowledge that I am going to be paying more than I expected for my meal.

Well it’s another beer and pizza joint. The décor is colorful, seating is minimal. The staff was okay. They could’ve been more pleasant and helpful. The menu is mainly pizza offerings with some other items to accompany. I was disappointed that there wasn’t ground beef listed as a pizza topping. Most of the toppings were fru fru. I felt the menu was quite high for what was offered. It is definitely something different from most places in high point but not somewhere I wanna go all the time.

Well, this was an unexpected surprise. Wife and I tried out this place for lunch and was amazing. The restaurant is located in an outdoor strip mall in High Point. The parking lot is of adequate size. The interior is split between a bar and dining room. The waitress was nice and attentive. We started with a pulled pork nachos appetizer and I was blown away. The nachos were fresh. The cheese and sauce was amazing. The pulled pork was juicy and tender. We almost fought for the last chip. For an entrée, I got the smokestack sandwich. The French roll did a good job holding the sandwich together. The brisket was Amazing, and topped with a blue cheese slaw and tangy bbq sauce. The only down side was the meal was abit pricey, but not outrageously so. We will return in the near future.
