I love Amanda! She worked with me and my picky indecisiveness when I decided to dye my hair for the first time. I loved the cut she gave me. I wanted to try bangs with a bob and it was perfect! When I had a hair emergency later (hair straightener went on the fritz, eek!), she squeezed me in that day. Very nice and skilled.
The four stars is for the salon pricing. Amanda is bound to get bumped up to the next level and I’m dreading the price increase but I’ll stick with her!

Best cut, color and customer service ever! I saw Donna and listened to her professional suggestions regarding hair treatment and she was right on. My hair feels and looks healthy again and I owe it to her! I like the text message confirmations, so no more sitting in an empty parking lot at the old place because of a ‘computer error’.

Went to Avanti for a spa day with a group of people. Was booked for an hour and a half massage and pedicure. Though the massage was great, it only lasted 45 minutes. The pedicure would have been relaxing if the girl doing my nails would have stopped snapping her gum and budding into conversations between a friend and I. Also, a month after my my pedicure, I went to give myself a polish change and noticed that my nail was completely dead! This was my first pedicure in almost two years and I must have gotten an infection from her clipped and digging into my nail. Only giving a two star rating since the massage was enjoyable. (though 40 min less than it should have been)

Unfortunately I never got the massage I was scheduled for. I arrived 10 minutes early to complete paperwork and be ready to start on time. 25 minutes later I was still sitting in the reception area with no contact from anyone. I ended up leaving because I had another appointment and hadn’t planned on being so late. Disappointing because I read good things about Jake. They definitely need some help at the reception desk and check in process. The person working the desk didn’t seem to think the delay was a big deal and certainly didn’t care that I left.

I HIGHLY recommend Kenzie at Avanti in High Point! She has been my stylist for the last 7 years and always does a wonderful job! She has styled my hair ALL kinds of ways — long, short, layers, no layers, bangs, colored it, etc — and it ALWAYS looks GREAT and I always get compliments! She is always on point with the latest trends, which I love! About a year ago I started taking my daughter to her as well and she did a really cool «Miley» cut and color for her that is gorgeous! Again, lots of compliments!
Also, I never have to wait and the front desk staff is always friendly. I like that they call to remind me of my appointment a day or so before too. Bottom line, if you want a great cut/​color/​style, you need to go see Kenzie at Avanti in High Point!

I made an appt last minute with a hairstylist name Kenzie, based on a fact she went to Toni&Guy school. She was one of the rudest hairstylists I met. When I asked her to take more weight off my ends she started saying that is not what I asked for and criticized the hairstylist who cut my hair before. When she was washing my hair she splashed water all over my face. I could go on but the experience was so bad. Her skills were decent but she needs to learn how to treat a client and loose an attitude. Let’s just say I will not go there again. Horrible experience

B has been working my hair for almost two years. I always leave feeling refreshed. He takes time to understand what I want and does only what I ask. He does not presser me into a different cut, style, coloring my hair or products the salon sells. When ask for a cut just a little different than what I currently have, he takes the time to show me how to style it. He’s always professional and personal without over sharing to make you feel uncomfortable. I would recommend B at the High Point salon to anyone looking for someone who is willing to listen to your request and give you what you ask.

DO NOT GO HERE. I hadn’t been back to Avanti’s since 2008, but thought I’d give them another shot. I was placed with «B.» No name. Just «B.» I asked for a long bob not going above my shoulders. Not only did he go above my shoulders, but he completely botched my hair. I left the salon bawling and have yet to be able to fix my hair right. I wish there was a photo option so I could show the issues that came with that cut. I asked him to thin it with the thinning shears. Instead he used those shears to tease tiny patches all over my head. When I lift my hair up, you can see obvious ½ inch buzzed patches all over. I am so distraught and have never left a haircut feeling so horrible. If you choose to go to this salon, do not use «B.» It was the worst haircut of my life. And I will never ever return.

I was so excited when I walked into Avanti to say hello while in town. I could not believe how beautiful the salon looked from its recent updates! It was so warm and welcoming. I’ve found with a lot of newer salons or salons that do major renovations they tend to go wayyyy to modern for most peoples comfort level. Kudos to who ever did this remodel, it’s more than fabulous!

I constantly visit Unilocal but only review exceptionally bad or exceptionally good experiences. However, nothing says exceptionally good like repeat business when there are so many options, therefore this review is long overdue.
Beth at Avanti is wonderful! She corrected my color years ago while i was visiting family and I have trusted her ever since. I have tried and consulted with colorists in Chicago (where I currently live) but Beth is more talented and protects the health of my hair. Through the years, I receive several compliments on my hair color, some from other hair stylists.
Beth provides an exceptionally good experience with the «makeovers» I enjoy when I visit home.

GREAT PLACE FOR MENS HAIRCUT… I have been a regular for the last 5 years and see a fella there by name of Jeff. Jeff is a great person and good at what he does. Need a trim up or neck shave or a new style-​Ask for Jeff.

I go to the Avanti Hair Salon and Spa in Greensboro and it far surpases the customer service and stylist skill that I experienced at this place. As soon as I entered I noticed the locations appearance was run down and dirty.
My stylist was so ruff. My shampoo took like 1 minute, it hurt. I felt like she just wanted to get me out. She kept burning me with the hair dryer and again was really ruff with the brush banging against my head as she pulled the hair.
My hair turned out ok, it was not spectacular. I could have gotten the same cut at SportClips for far less. For the amount of money I paid on a haircut I expect my EXPERIENCE to be great.
At Avanti in Greensboro you are offered something to drink, the stylists are friendly they take their time to listen to you. They give you a relaxing shampoo. The location is clean and it looks upscale.

I am a college student and new to the area and found out about Avanti about a year ago from some of my friends at High Point University. I looked at the website and it looked nice so I decided to give it a try. I called up and told the receptionist I have really thick and long hair and I want an excellent stylist who would be good for my hair type. She recommended Lindsey. She is a hairstyling genius! She gave me the best haircut I have ever had. I was so happy with how my light my hair felt afterwards and got so many compliments on how nice the haircut looked on my face! I would seriously recommend Lindsey and this Salon. Not to mention how great the price was. I paid around $ 45, which is so much less than what you would pay for at a nice salon in the DC area where I live when I’m not at college.
I also get facials from Beverly once a month. She is wonderful as well. The facials have really cleared up my skin. She has recommended some wonderful daily face products and makeup.
