Never in my life have I ever experienced worse customer service. I wish I could give negative stars. I came with my family, a party of 5, and after ordering our entrees, a waitress comes out and tells us they don’t have anymore chicken and we have to change our orders. We were a little annoyed but changed our orders. We finally get our food different orders of hibachi steak and shrimp and it’s cold. When I complained, I was told no one else has complained throughout the night. I asked to get the owners information so I could let them know about the terrible ordeal, but was told they didn’t have the owners number and could not get it for me. All in all the worst service I have ever received. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

This year we decided to have our office holiday party here. So lets start with we are nine people total and when most of the party arrived for our 6:30 they would not seat us. And once everyone arrived, the last person only being 5 mins late we had to wait 20 minutes to be seated.
The owner told us we would have to wait for the table to be ready, so he would make us drinks. Three of us ordered french martinis. Well, sadly his bartender was out and he did not know how to make one. The drink was good otherwise but not a french martini.
When we got to the table, we were rushed into ordering. The chef came out and was not personable. He ignored us three or four times and the experience was not nearly as good as other places.
All in all, the food was ok. The atmosphere was bland. And the drinks were not what was expected. I would not say don’t come here, however I would not recommend it.

I’ve only had the sushi and sashimi here. My boyfriend raves about the hibachi. The service is good as is the food. For me as far as the sushi the presentation was nice and it tasted good but nothing that stood out to me any more than your average sushi place.

Have been here twice so far. It’s my ‘go-​to’ hibachi place. Food is excellent. The chefs are nice and put on a good show. It’s entertaining but not so much ‘over the top’ to intimidate some of the more shy guests. Scallops are delicious!

Nice atmosphere, food was really good the only thing was felt very rushed the cooking the time to order didn’t really give us time to sit and talk it was all sit eat go. Food was good price and very tasty and entertaining sitting at the hibachi grill. When making reservation make sure to state hibachi because they have both options!

Excellent food.
The staff is very friendly.
I visit this location for lunch every now & then and I’ve never been disappointed.
The lunch specials are a good value. The server recommended the Hibachi items, and I’ve enjoyed both the chicken and the salmon.
DO NOT be put off by the building exterior. It needs some TLC on the outside, but inside it is clean and nicely decorated.
Definitely a good place to go.

I’m not sure if anyone in the rating had sushi. We order the love boat for two and was extremely disappointed. We have sushi from all classes from Nobu to monster sushi. This was close to the worst and expenive for the quality. The sushi was not fresh, I can taste the freeze smell. Maybe the high rating is for the hibachi meals or it can also be I have very high standards for sushi.
You can find much better food for this price. I rank this japanese restaurant supermart sushi.

Super yummy hibachi and sushi. I love the Hawaiian roll and sugar daddy roll but they’re all awesome. Drinks are nice and strong and tea is so yummy. Never had a bad experience here! Check it out!

First time going here, had a great experience. Made reservations at 8 and were seated at 8:05, food was great, ambiance is very nice also. Only complaint is lack of staff, had to wait about 20 minutes for a drink but other than that I cannot complain. Sushi was fresh and the hibachi was flavorful.

I’m no fan of Beni Hana so when I came here for a dinner party, I was in for a treat. We were seated immediately and service was good. I ordered a Blue Hawaiian for a drink. It was very good. I ordered basic Teriyaki chicken and noodles. Very tasty. Nice Habatchi tricks. I could not catch the shrimp in my mouth to save my life ! If you’re looking for a good time with Habatchi style this is it. Very nice venue. I wish the meals were served with more vegetables.

Dinner and a show!
Been here four or five times and realized I never reviewed the place.
Hibachi places are all fun, but the food is usually meh. Not so at Miyako.
Six grills hold ten people each. Most times we eat with people we don’t know. We always have a good time. There are also a bunch of separate tables if you don’t want to east hibachi style.
The food is sooooo good. Meals come with a clear broth that is tasty. Then comes a standard salad with ginger dressing. Fried rice is an option and really good. Next is a noodle dish that is also excellent. Your main course is next and then a piece of shrimp is tossed in the air for you to try to catch in your mouth.
Everything is cooked right in front of you and the chefs are all pretty good show men. Juggling spatulas, knives and whatever else they can find. You will have a great time.

I realy like this place. Came here a couple of times for dinner with my family (hibachi and sushi) and everything was really good.
Sushi is excellent, when it comes to hibachi seems like only one of the guys knows how to put a good show on while cooking.
Extremely nice girl up front but a server could do better.
The only thing I didn’t like about this place was a time I had to wait when I did take out. I called in and they said 15 min… It took probably about 25 and the restaurant was empty when I got here to pick it up.

I had a dinner reservation for 6;30 and was seated like 20 minutes after, not bad… the place is somewhat small i believe they have 4 hibachi stations and some tables in the middle. we indulged in the hibachi, i started with a drink for two called the Hurricane, had some vodka, gin and some fruit juice… good way to open the appetite). Menu had very good options and i selected the chicken dinner which comes with a salad and a sweet ginger dressing very tasty… and a soup, it was ok… just a broth. and of course the main entrée Chicken with vegtables and fried rice and shrimp. Chicken was juicy and had good flavor not spicy at all and the vegetable very crispy but cooked. overall me and the family had a good dining experience… so i would definitely come again and its in the hood! just kidding !!!

Such a diamond in the rough, I love Miyako Sushi. They have reasonable prices on sushi and even on their hibachi.
I guess I come here so much that the owner and some of the waitresses remember us. They are very nice and attentive. Their sushi is pretty good, fresh and presentable. As for their hibachi, seriously why go to benihana, I rather come here, it’s much more brighter (literally).

This place has excellent sushi. I have been to a number of places and this place is def in the top 3. I usually get the spicy tuna roll, which they make with cucumber and avocado in it. I usually tell them to hold the cucumber. The spicy tuna is always fresh and is one of the best I have had. The other roll I usually get is the Alaskan, which is salmon with cucumber and avocado. The best thing about this place is the value you get at lunch. You get tea, soup, salad and 2 sushi rolls for 7.95! How can you beat that?
I’ve also had hibachi there which was excellent as well. The chefs put on a nice show and cook the food perfectly. The wait staff is excellent, very friendly and accomodating.
Highly recommend, you will not be disapointed!
