Massage For Wellness

I booked an appointment for a facial with Jamie, based on the reviews on here, and I’m so glad I did. I requested for her to be gentle and to use products for sensitive skin. Jamie assured me. She told me that the stuff used would be great for my skin type. She also asked if the pressure was okay while giving the facial, which was so relaxing, by the way! I had a great experience and can’t wait to come back. My skin feels and looks beautiful, and I love the products she recommended.

This is my first review after my second visit to this place and 5 stars both times. I can’t remember who I had the last time but this time I had Linda and she was great. I will return! Reasonable pricing and friendly staff. Smells great when you walk in. Plenty of parking.

I had a gift card to SpaFinder and this was one of the few places near me that accepted those gift cards. It was pretty easy to book a service online through SpaFinder but then I called to add another service onto my massage. I was a little irritated that I had to hold for about five minutes for someone to pick up, and their messaging system would say «Press 5 for a call back» and I could slam my finger down on the phone repeatedly on the 5 and nothing would happen.
The place was bright and clean and I had one of the first appointments of the day. I had a wonderful facial by Jamie and a few days later my skin still feels fantastic. After my facial I moved onto a hot stone massage. I forgot the masseuse’s name (sorry!) but she was very nice. I made the mistake of writing down medium to soft on my form for my massage preference and I’m one of those wusses who doesn’t speak up, so I would have liked her to go harder but didn’t say anything. Now I know for next time!
My only complaints are that since the place is small you can hear almost everything even with a white noise machine. My massage was in a room near the front entrance and I could hear the phone ringing, doors slamming, etc. Not exactly the most relaxing.
I also (unfortunately) developed a skin reaction to something that was used during my massage. THIS IS NO FAULT OF THE SPA! I sometimes have weird reactions to lotions/​perfumes and I guess something they used triggered it. If I knew what it was I would have let them know ahead of time, but I never know what can spark it.
I would definitely go back again, the customer service was great and I left feeling very relaxed.

Okay this place is so so. I was hoping for a sensual soothing massage and all I got was heavy pressure and lots of pain. I understand the therapist had to loosen me up to work on my knots and adjustments, however a massage is supposed to be comfortable and relaxing. The entire time my hands, feet, and teeth were clenched because I was in sheer pain. The therapist did not listen to me when I said medium to light pressure, he just kept digging deeper until I finally said OUCH! Do not go here, unless you are into torture you sick and twisted masochist!!! LOL

I really love this place. I wish I could go more often than I do. But as a person who stresses out often, this place seems to relax me with just the atmosphere of the waiting room. I have only done a Swedish Massage because I’m a chicken to try something new. I love it though. I’ve never had to deal with anyone who was unfriendly. They’re all helpful and nice. But some staff are just exceptional. Tabatha was very sweet and Christine also gave a good massage. I definitely recommend this place.

I Went in for my first facial ever and was super nervous BUT it was such an AMAZING experience! The staff was friendly and informative. Jamie answered all my questions and recommended products for my skin after. She was gentle throughout the whole process but my face feels clean and fresh. I feel like I got a brand new face! The bonus is it was a facial plus a mini massage, which is never a bad thing.
The place was very clean, quiet and so relaxing! I will definitely be coming back.

I would just like to say how grateful I am for Andrea. For the last 2 years, I have been suffering with calf & knee pain and she was able to help find the start of where my pain began and help me get on the road to recovery. I have been going here for years and have always received great service from all staff but Andrea went above and beyond to help me with my injury as well as offer great advice for some stretches I can do to help at home.

I love this place! After experiencing some mild teenage acne, I quickly learned medications from the dermatologist were too harsh for my skin. As I entered my 20s I began having more combination skin and struggled between oily and dry. Since I have been getting facials here, I couldn’t be happier. My skin is clear thanks to the monthly or bi-​monthly facials by Effie. She has great recommendations and the products they sell are fairly priced and work well. I’ve had a few massages there as well and have never been disappointed!

I requested the massage therapist get out some tight knots. I found the massage relaxing but not effective at what I was seeking.

I am not at expert at receiving messages. I have only gotten a few before coming here. But, i imagin like most people, I am extremely stressed out from work. I could feel the nots in my neck and up into my head. It was terrible. My wife had to convince me to goto one of her client’s business, you guessed it Message for wellness owed by Laura. I have to admit, one visit and I was hooked. After just an hour, I walked out with the tightness and nots gone from my neck. Paulette the masseuse was very pleasant and really worked my whole neck and back. I have been back a number of times in the past few months and have not had the discomfort return.
I highly recommend this place. Very professional and relaxing atmosphere.

A nice little massage parlor. Very soothing atmosphere from the moment you walk through the door, and it feels like a local business, rather than a snobby spa chain, which you find all too often in other places. I went this weekend and filled out a brief form once I walked in, waited for all of two minutes and was greeted by my masseuse, who shook my hand and brought me into a room. We spoke about what I wanted for a few minutes and he left the room so I could get changed. Never having gotten a professional massage, I wasn’t exactly sure what to expect but was very pleased. He was professional and really worked out my knots. I left, feeling totally relaxed and satisfied. They even take SpaFinder gift cards, which don’t ever expire so I didn’t have to worry since mine was so old. I wish the prices were a little bit lower, but I would still return to this place and choose it over other places based on this experience!

Had a facial done. Clean, comfortable and thorough. No pushy sales or trying to change my mind. Prices were spot on and I would go back again.
