Ordered several times and consistently good. Food has fresh tasting quality. My biggest complaint is that they charge extra for brown rice.

Under new ownership, and the place suffers. They Always seem to be overwhelmed even when place is empty. Food is not what it used to be. Going to have to find a new Chinese take out place.

Why I grab soup here to go… Still use Bok Choy in their light flavorful wonton soup. So does China View across the street.(the rest of Long Island seems to mostly add scallions instead). Also in Wantagh an old fav has it but wasn’t as fresh so not recommending. Here it’s plain but good and always fresh. Steamed dumplings should be similarly good but not great.

Leung How is my standard for«Hole-in-the-wall» Chinese food. Not everything is perfect, but there is so much flavor to everything they make. The soups have strips of meat and vegetables, the dumplings come with a perfect sauce: there are lots of details done right! Their prices are right on point to boot!

This is really one of the best places for Chinese take out in the area. Everything I have ordered has been excellent. The prices can’t be beat! They don’t deliver though, that’s the only drawback, but the prices make up for it. The tofu dishes are amazing and the vegetable lo me in is the best around. The noodles are not soggy and over cooked like most places. Ask for spicey!

WAY better than Mandarin Wok across the street. Ordered shrimp w/lobster sauce and had tons of shrimp, just the way it’s supposed to. Solid local Chinese take-out. But no delivery.

Leung How Kitchen is close to my house and is my go to Chinese takeout place. It’s typical Chinese takeout that hits the spot for me on those Chinese food craving kinda days. I’m pretty sure they don’t deliver which is a downside, but otherwise nom nom nom!

First! OK, I shouldn’t be that excited bc it’s a Chinese take out place but whatever, first! Anywho, not much to say about this establishment. It’s…a Chinese take out place. Do not eat in here(do they even own real plates?). Do not expect anything different than you would get at any other ‘fast food’ Chinese joint with the really dated pictures above the register. All those negative vibes out of the way… they do the fast food Chinese favs very well and the place is pretty clean. Great locale for a wonton soup and a dinner combo special. You can head out of there with plenty of eats and a Snapple for $ 10. Win. My go to is the General Tso’s combo or the chow fun and some wonton/egg drop combo… all done within 15 min of your phone call. Good times. Good amounts of sodium. Yumsies
