The food is good however not consistent. Their chicken tikka is my favorite. I only was not 100 percent satisfied a few time overall a great experience.

I have been coming here for a few years now. Recently upgraded ambiance and the same quality food. The kitchen is now separate from dining area. The prices are very reasonable. Wait staff super friendly. Love this place.

This place is no good to dine. We had the worst experience here. Ordered lamb chops n karahi goat n bread. Took literally more than an hour for our order to come. And when it arrived, it wasn’t worth the wait at all. Moreover the owner is so sad and unwelcoming, doesn’t care about the customers at all. Hate this place, wish i could give 0 stars.

Food was okay not that great. Place was extremely dirty. My husband and I came here for dinner and suddenly we started noticing the people around us seated at different tables started pulling out bottles of alcohol from paper bags. The people seated behind us were drinking, beside us and in front of us. Seemed like the man at the register knew them and they were all his friends. I did not expect to be coming to an underground bar for dinner. Definitely not coming back here again.

I go here quite often with my friend. I love their seekh kebab and saag with roti. I haven’t tried other dishes, but I sure do enjoy the food that I get a lot. Place is cozy, service can go wrong sometimes but that’s most desi restaurants.

If you want to try Indian Pakistani, this is your place. One of the best food in whole United States. I am frequent visitor of this place, small place but Food is awesome, delicious. Try kabab and tandoori paratha. You will love it.

Worst experience ever. The pakistani waitress was making fun of me with the kitchen people that were cooking, after i ordered food only because i asked her a question about the paratha menu. She was so loud that i could hear her through the window thing they have. I gave her a death stare then she stopped talking about me. She probably thought i dont understand urdu/hindi. Food was stale and tasteless. Naans tasted like cardboards. Stay away from this place.

Don’t know why this place has low reviews. We literally go here at least once a month if not twice a month for takeout and have been for the last 18 months since we moved nearby. This is Pakistani food not Indian(if you couldn’t tell by the name — Lahore is in Pakistan), so things are a little more saucy and not fried. Awesome with rice or naan bread so be sure to order that on the side or with a to go order to fully enjoy the experience. Our standard order is about 3 – 4 dishes and 4 orders of naan to soak up all that sauce where the flavor is. The inside was also renovated about 6 months ago or so and the previously open air kitchen design is now in the back behind a new wall. Parking is in the back by the laundromat or in the LIRR lot if you can’t find street parking right out front. Just ate our usual order on Friday and of course we’ll be back for more many times in the future.

Terrible food and even worse service. The guy who took the order looking to be the owner, duped me by charging double the amount mentioned on the menu card. On questioning he started making up reasons. Terrible experience and never going back again.

Wow this place got pretty bad reviews on Unilocal. My experiences have been quite good so far though. My friend tipped me off to what the secret is: you have to order only kebobs and naan or roti in order to have the best cheap, flavorful, and filling meal. I got goat curry once and it was bad and more expensive. But for the items i got, i can’t give this place any less than 4 stars. The service from the lady there was good as well. The kebobs are cheap and full of flavor. Chicken kebob is $ 2, beef is $ 2.50. The naan is $ 1 each and is huge(check out the picture). They even give you a salad, which is great. I was just there tonight; my total bill came out to $ 5.98, and i paid $ 7 total. I think that’s a steal. So again; i can’t speak to the other items, but if you order the cheap kebobs and naan, you should be good. I would thus recommend this place.

they put up a menu on allmenus and quoted me a different price when I walked through the door. The guy was rude and acted like since his menu was different I have to pay his price. It wasn’t about the money but it was just annoying and frankly embarrassing.

After driving 1 hr in traffic while we were fasting To try this food; half way through the meal we find 2 roaches on the wall. Told our waiter he just laughed and walked away. Will not be coming back here ever again. Management was horrible. The waiter would also hand the hot foot into our hands rather than place it on the table. The food was mediocre at best… Extremely bland

Okay tasting cheap food. Chicken appetizers are tasty and good. Do not miss the chicken tikka boti. Chicken/mutton gravy/curry does not feel fresh. vegetable curries and dhal are a better choice over meat Hygiene could be better. The place looks like a dump. but hey you get what you pay for.

This place looks like a dump. The kitchen is in open view as you enter and looks like a medieval dungeon. Its dark, filthy, the food is displayed in suspicious looking trays. You just walk up to the kitchen, make a selection from the precooked food, place your order take a seat and wait for your reheated pile of stale food to arrive. The prices are cheap, ambiance is shockingly bad, service is absent and I can’t comment on the food as I haven’t really ordered anything other then a couple of naan.

I stumbled across this place a year ago and have been back many times. As long as you stick with the kebabs you will be assured good food and a very low cost. My favs are chicken tikka, beef tikka and Lahori Chaska. I have never had Pakistani food before but if you like simple tasty high protein and low carb then you will find these kabobs the ka– best

Good food for surprisingly cheap prices! Most Indian places charge a lot more, though it seems this place is much more Middle Eastern than Indian. I highly recommend trying the Chicken Tikka Boti. I wasn’t as taken by their Chicken Tikka Masala though. Their Chicken Tikka Masala seems to use chicken thighs rather than chicken breast. Thus, the meat isn’t as melt-in-your-mouth tender or as clean(free of bones and tendons) as I’m used to for this dish. With that being said, the masala itself is great, albeit unlike any masala I’ve had elsewhere. It tastes much more tomato-y than the masala I’ve had at, say, Seva(in Astoria). If you’re looking for a quick, cheap bite, this is a great place to hit up. As far as the décor goes, it’s nothing incredible, but it’s decent. The space is fairly clean and orderly, like any other small family-owned restaurant. According to my boyfriend, who has been in this area longer and has frequented this place before the renovations, it was quite a shabby hole-in-the-wall a few years back. The reviews describing this place as a dump were probably posted before the renovations because as far as I could tell, there is now nothing glaringly wrong with the restaurant’s interior. Food: 3⁄5 — good, depending on which dishes you get Service: 3⁄5 — decent but unremarkable Atmosphere: 2⁄5 — not bad but nothing special Overall: 3⁄5 — good

This place has now become regular spot for us whenever we visit LI and regardless of other negative review on Unilocal and other sites, my experience has always been positive. We have always gone on weekends and off peak hours. Kebabs are amazing and so is the biryani. We will be back

Last time I was here was back in 2008, the décor has changed but the service is still eh and the prices have def gone up. We were a group of 6 at 9 p. m on a Wednesday night, we sat around for 7 minutes or so until I got up and requested for the menu’s and that’s when the waitress came. We ordered a few seekh kebab’s which were $ 2.50 each, Lamb Karahi which was $ 13!!! The owner said it fed one person when he saw our group but he gave the grimey, cheap, «i want to lie about the portion size» face. We also got chicken tikka boti’s which was $ 7. The beef seekh kebab looked like someone put playdo around the original kebab and microwaved it. The chicken tikka boti tasted really good but they were very small, and only 6 pieces. Each plate of lamb karahi could feed at least 2 people, and it was really good and spicy! I wanted to get dessert but they were charging $ 4 for ras malai, please get the hell out of here. This place seem’s like a last option for me in Hicksville as their are many other places I can go to for kebab but the owner, service, and price are all turn offs.
