This is your FLGS(that’s Friendly Local Game Store) for the area, and they hit the nail on the head of each word in the acronym by providing excellent customer service, sponsoring local gaming events, and stocking a wide variety of collectible card games, tabletop games, board games, abstract strategy, and RPG material. The interior is clean and well organized — special discounts on certain products are in displays up front and you can find some pretty obscure slices of painted cardboard in there if you’re feeling adventurous. The staff here have always been quick to offer help, are easy to find(always located behind the register but not engaged in a private pursuit), and have a lot of insight about current trends in gaming as well as opinions on purchases. It seems like they have an event for every night of the week here, and scheduled events like tournaments and D&D campaigns are actually attended and occur regularly. On Tuesdays, it’s Board Game Night and a crowd of regulars brings their own games as well as tries a wide selection of games in-store for previews. The people attending these events have mostly come across as sociable and eager to engage with strangers. Check the bulletin board for special events(and their website which is NOT listed as «game master games», confusingly enough, but IS easy to find with a search) or ask the gentleman behind the counter if anyone is coming to do demos and such. Some light snacks and drinks available for purchase, and the bathrooms are in fact decent & clean! Please don’t park in front of the liquor store(says a sign on the front door, perhaps the liquor store feels their customers will not walk an additional 15 feet? Whatever, just don’t do it)

Sure — it’s a nerdy game store. They stock magic cards, miniatures and all sorts of other hobby/gaming items, however where game master really shines is it’s character and community. This place has exploded in popularity in the past 6 months. I’m not just talking about Friday night magic type events(which aren’t my cup of tea, thanks). They have nights where they teach all sorts of games for free, there’s always the option of open play and the staff is always eager to suggest, help and teach. The past few years I’ve gotten into nontraditional/indie/rpg type board games. Settlers, Munchkin, Pandemic, The Resistance or any thing that brings friends together and makes you think. I’ve found out about so many more games by coming here and trying them out. They let you hang out in the back and try before you buy! Snacks and drinks are sold at the counter too. Prices are undoubtedly on the higher side, but as long as they are within $ 15 of Amazon, I’m happy to support a local brick and mortar store. Protip: All Board games are 10% off on Tuesday, so you can at least save yourself the tax.

I walked in and instantly I was impressed. They cater to fantasy, sci-fi and historical miniature games. Looking for Bolt Action WWII? They have it. Warhammer? They have it. I went in looking for Infinity and they had it! I think they might actually have the complete line. The owner, Dave, was very friendly and accommodating. He informed me that Monday nights the Saga players and Infinity player come out. I’m going to have to stop by on a Monday night. Oh, for all you people interested in miniatures, on Wednesday you get 10% off!!! Will I be back? Oh heck yes!

Went again for this year’s Tabletop Day and it was super packed! Their collection of board games is even better and they have a small collection of comic books, which I missed on my first visit. I bought a couple of smaller games and some card sleeves. I was glad to see that there were many patrons visiting and hope they made some money that day. Dave, the owner, is very nice and helpful. It seems like they have some good demos and stuff going on each night, worth checking out.

Big store with a decent selection of games and accessories. Has a bit of a musty smell to it. Prices are what you can expect to pay for a local game store, MSRP for the most part but it gives the kids a place to play D and D, MtG, or whatever they play. They do have a decent selection of adult based games(Quoridor, etc). Not a bad place to go.

I love this store. There is simply no better place in the area to meet people interested in games and willing to roll some dice at the drop of a hat. Great staff, great atmosphere and great games. Come for Wednesday DnD, make some new friends and join us for some board games or Dr Who screenings.

Over the last 2 years I have started to seriously get into games. Finding a place like this has really helped grow my addiction. They have tons of different things to pick from. Personally I am more of a board game person & am pretty knowledgable on the mainstream ones(Catan, Munchkin, Ticket To Ride, King of Tokyo, etc) but when i walk in here i feel like I have barely scratched the surface. As I walk through the aisles, i have my phone out and i’m looking up things online to see what people have thought about them. It is a little overwhelming. It would be nice to have a little more organization or maybe labeling but i am not sure if it is customers’ messy browsing that add to the confusion. When it comes to staff, they are very friendly as a whole. They always say hello and ask if we need any help. You can tell some people on staff go the extra mile. We came in the other day just because we were in the area and figured it would be fun to swing by. We asked a couple questions and guy behind the counter came on to the floor & really took the time to talk over things with us. I normally spend only about10−30 bucks on a visit, but that day I walked out after dropping $ 90. They have tons of events here, usually something every night. I have yet to go to one of them, but someday. If you are like me and can’t head out for an event, they have games you can just play so you can’t create your own event. Or even just buy something and stick around to play it. I was back and forth with giving them 4 vs 5 stars, but it’s the the best place I’ve found that really fits all my gaming needs. If you are into tabletop gaming, they have something for everyone.

Good selection and super friendly staff. This place is great. If they don’t have something they can order it for you. The prices are a little above what you can get online by $ 10 – 20 depending on the titles but you don’t have to wait for shipping and you’re supporting a local business. The smaller expansions are priced right and on Tuesdays all board games are 10% off. Every time I go there I find something to pick up. They host game nights and give lessons on games. They have lots of games available to play there if you want to just hang out and they encourage playing them. There are always groups of people playing something. They have all kinds of events so check out their website. It’s a great little place that I highly recommend checking out if you like board games.

My favorite game store! I went here yesterday day for a Magic the gathering Draft it was so fun! The owner was so nice and helps you learn if you don’t know how to play! Every one was nice and they have a very large selection!
