Great coffee and great service. It was a little slow, but the quality product was worth the wait. The barista was by herself and very nice and apologetic for the wait. Just what we needed to pick us up after some tough shopping!

Had the muscle power smoothie. Went thru the drive thru. No one in line so I didn’t have to wait long. My smoothie was ready in a few minutes. Friendly staff and the smoothie was very good. A little pricey but the small was a 20 oz.

I work remotely, but was in town in Hickory at my home office. My morning coffee is very important to me, and back home, I have a fantastic local stop with an impressive quality brew. As I have a standing boycott of Starbucks, I found this local café and stopped by several times, both through the drive through and inside. Indoor service is decent. I’m a large black coffee kind of guy, so I’m used to grabbing a cup and pouring my own, but I also ordered a bagel to have before I went into the office. I was less than enthused with the coffee however, which tasted burnt. They also did not offer a 24 oz size. I lived without the extra 4 oz, but I was disappointed with a low-quality brew. The next two trips during my visit were to the drive through. I too experienced slow drive through times, and when I’m ordering a 20 oz black coffee, there’s not really much you can do to make that take extra time. With no one in front of me, I waited 10 – 15 minutes to get a black coffee, with the barista popping his head out to double-check my order once. I’m usually a big fan of your local coffee shop, but this place really disappointed. I’ll be looking for a different coffee stop on my next trip this week.

I have been to here about six times. The first four were delightful in-dining experience with delicious spinach cones and smoothies. However, the last two times were some of the worst drive thru experiences of my life. We waited for at least thirty minutes the first time for our food to come(simple smoothies). The second time we waited for fourty-five minutes(we timed it) before driving off. It was absolutely ridiculous. This is an okay place for inside dining, but STAYAWAYFROMTHEDRIVETHRU

Iced Caramel Macchiato Supremo. Initially, I thought that there wasn’t much caramel flavor to this drink, but the next day I took the Macchiato out of the fridge and after a little inspection, I found all of the caramel was on the bottom of the cup. When I stirred it well, the drink was much more delicious. ;o) The barista? Friendly. Attractive. Conversant. Quick. Love the drive-thru. EXTREMELY convenient location in the Viewmont section of Hickory.

This place is a block away from a Starbucks, and like the Starbucks it is built for drive-through business, though it has a spacious and comfortable area to sit and read(but on a winter day it can be kind of chilly). The Starbucks, of course, is packed. This place may be kind of empty. It’s a good alternative for someone looking for a quiet place to sit.

One of my favorite coffee shops in Hickory. Great tea with locally roasted coffee. Great atmosphere. I always recommend to people coming into town and it’s also one of my first suggestions for coffee dates… at least it was. Why only a 3-star rating? I have been trying over and over again to give this place a chance, but the service just continues to disappoint. There is one Barista that works there that is fantastic(brown hair and I always forget her name!). However, some of the other(younger) workers there make me feel(repeatedly) that I’m bothering them when I want to order or have questions. What questions do I ask that prompts the annoyed response? How about: What is the roast today? Is it light or dark? Yeah, that’s about it. I want to be a patron of this place, but some of the staff makes it hard. I’d rather give my money to local businesses, but Starbucks seems to provide service with a smile. Again– when the(non-teen) brunette Barista is working– I get stellar service, every time.

So, I’ve been here twice. We just moved to Hickory a few weeks ago and I wanted to find a new coffee place besides Starbucks. The first time I went, there were only 2 cars in front of me in the drive-thru line, yet I waited there for 15 minutes until I finally reached the window to order(For whatever reason, the speaker wasn’t working). The lady who took my order was nice, and my Iced Caramel Macchiato was delicious. The prices didn’t bother me one bit. Despite the long wait, I went there again yesterday and had a better experience. Only one car in front of me and they moved through quick. There was a different barista there, a blonde girl, and she was nice. My Iced Caramel Machhiato was delicious, yet again. Going back today!
