$ 130 for four hours on a craigcat seemed like a good deal to me. I’ve never rented a craigcat before, but I’ve seen $ 130 for just one hour on a jetski. You can also rent things for days/a week I guess if you’re staying there for a while. We had absolutely no problems with the craigcat. Lake Chatuge is a great place for boating/PWC-ing(from the informational video I learned that PWC = personal water craft.) It’s big and open and there’s lots of nooks and crannies to explore. I think the minimum rental for any of their vehicles is 2 hours and that gives you plenty of time. My boyfriend and I took the whole four hours just riding around, but he came here before with his family and they took turns and still had plenty of time. The lake was pretty serene, but it depended on the other boats of course. Would definitely recommend! Great price and location for this kind of thing. Would love to come back and rent a jetski from them.

$ 200 for four hours for a 14 person pontoon boat! We only had 8 people plus a big dog(illegal, not allowed, we snuck her in at my friend’s dock) and there was tons of space. When we returned the boat the staff was incredibly friendly. I would definitely rent from these people again

My family and I had so much fun boating, wakeboarding, and tubing last week. We have a place in Blue Ridge, and while we’ve rented off of Lake Blue Ridge before, we all agreed that this Marina was worth the drive. The prices were great, the sporting equipment shiny and new, and the boat in great working order. The instructor took his time thoroughly going over how to drive the boat, how to use the gear, and the different parts of the lake. We will definitely be back.

My wife and I have been going to Lake Chatuge for 6 years, including 5 Fourth of July weekends. Boundary Waters Resort & Marina is a great, family run business. The accommodations are simple, but clean and well equipped. The marina staff is super attentive and friendly. We go out of our way to fill up our boat here. We have stayed at their rooms several times and have always been pleased.

They were incredibly rude and unaccommodating, to the point where we decided it would be better to just not rent a boat then to rent through them. Would not recommend this place, the ridges is a much better option.

This is one of the worst marinas I have ever been to. We paid for a slip for the day and they wouldn’t even let us use their ramp for our jet ski. The people were very rude and the employees were yelling at each other i just wouldn’t recommend this place.

We called to rent a pontoon boat for ½ day on the recommendation of another visitor in the area we ran into. We called at 9:30 and was on the boat by 1:00. The crew at the marina were knowledgeable, and courteous. the price for the boat including gas and tax was a bit less than 200.00 but was easily one of my favorite days of our trip. I’ll definately be back!

For $ 80/night, we had a charming little room with a queen bed and a big deck overlooking Lake Chatuge. We also got unlimited use of the Resort’s paddleboats and kayaks, as well as access to a swimming dock and a fishing dock. Well, we paddled, we swam, we basked in the cool lake breezes, and overall we had a lovely stay. The room was a little dated, but it had brand new linens and towels, and it was very clean. The online reservation process was a breeze, and the ladies working the office(open 8:30am-5:30pm daily) were very friendly and gave us some great recommendations for things to do in the area. I don’t think you can find anything cheaper that is right on the lake, and I don’t think you can find anywhere more beautiful than Hiawassee.

For my birthday we decided to go fishing and on recommendation checked out Lake Chatuge. And very glad we did too. the scenery is amazing and the drive from Atlanta is through forests and climbing through the mountains. Unfortunately it was«Oktoberfest» in Helen so it took over an hour to drive through … bad buzz. The rental office had advertised and had told us on the phone that they that they had fishing gear, but not when we got there. Renting a pontoon boat is pretty cheap — $ 120 for an 8 person boat for 4 hours
