We were just looking for a bite to eat after traveling all day. Without Unilocal reviews and GPS, we would not have just stopped by. What a surprise to find this scrupulously clean restaurant serving seriously good food. We ordered a 10″ pizza to split, a good decision because it was 10″ of wonderful, fresh sauce, plentiful mozzarella, and perfectly chewy crust. At the last second, I asked for the vinaigrette salad — also a good decision. Simple ingredients, dressed with the exactly correct amount of dressing, and plenty for 2 as a starter salad. Service is friendly. Surroundings are pleasant. Value is unsurpassed.

Excellent! Food was great, service was good, place was perfectly clean! The quality of food is so high, it should be a 5 star restaurant.

I went here yesterday with a couple of co-workers. My Two colleagues ordered personal pizzas(1 margherita, 1 pepperoni) and I had a garden salad(I’m trying to slim down before Christmas hits). The pizza here is great! The dough is tasty, the sauce is not over powering and they cook it in a brick oven which just marries the favors together wonderfully. On the other hand, I would suggest ordering a salad here, it’s not worth the money. It’s almost 8 bucks and it’s something you can make at home, literally. It was lettuce, tomatoes, and olives. Also, the portion size of the salad was also not worth the price.

The pizza was thrown together, very rubbery. Disappointed, considering all the great reviews. The caprese was blandly put together as well. The ricotta was tough. We ordered at 8:30 pm to pick up. The place was not busy at all. Overall, really bland overpriced pizza and caprese.

11⁄21 — Post BattleFrog Miami Meal… After running an 8k with 27 obstacles for BattleFrog Miami, I’d say pizza seemed like a deliciously great idea… HOOYAH! We decided to order 2 pizzas for the group. The Margherita and the Capricciossa. We were extremely pleased with the excellent pizza. It was not greasy, flavors were delicious, fresh mozzarella and a light sauce and the crust… mmmm…delicious. One of the girls ordered the Cortadito and it was perfect, not too sweet. They also offer gelato selections. Our waitress gave us some to sample before we left, I tried the hazelnut. I wish I would of ordered some to go but I was so full. The place is clean and the service was great. Our table was full of compliments about this place, we are definitely fans!!!

If you’ve read my other reviews, you’ll already know that I’m not a fan of pizza.(Don’t judge me people!) To re-iterate… I’m not a fan of that greasy, too much cheese, pizza shop style pizza. With that said, a group of friends and myself were completing an event at a local park in Miami and were looking for a place to re-fuel. They suggested pizza. Not being from the area I literally typed«pizza» into the search bar of my Unilocal app and several local places came up. I immediately noticed Sapori’s 5 star rating and thought, «5 star Italian in Hialeah? Well it’s worth a shot!» Plus it was near Interstate 75 on our way back north to Broward. It’s in a super weird location through a bunch of neighborhoods and commerce park area in Tropical Plaza. I can see how people that aren’t looking for this place could literally drive by without knowing it was here. Upon our entry we noticed how incredibly clean and tidy the restaurant was. The décor was simple, nothing super fancy, but impeccably clean! They have a smaller dine-in area that could fit maybe 20 people max, but it was fairly empty when we arrived. We were immediately greeted by the staff member who was extremely friendly and told us to sit where we’d like. We had five super hungry post-race girls so we ordered two 12″ pizzas and few of us also ordered salads. We got the Margherita and Capricciosa pizzas, plus a side Caesar and vinaigrette salad. Everything in the restaurant is open so you can literally watch them make your pizza if you wanted to. They use super fresh ingredients and have an awesome brick oven that cooks the pizza to perfection! The pizzas were absolutely delicious, fresh, and piping hot out of the oven! Honestly, I could eat this pizza every single day! The salads were also very fresh and weren’t served with too much dressing. Being in Hialeah they also have coffee options which I didn’t get on this visit but I’ll be sure to next time. Surprise, they also have yummy gelato! Even though we didn’t order any on this visit I asked to try the cheesecake flavor and Iets just say I was disappointed that I didn’t have time to get any to-go! It was so good! If you’re in the area definitely come out of your way for some pizza and gelato at Sapori D’Italia. I know I’ll be making another trip out here for some pizza very soon!

I’ve been driving by this place for I don’t know how many years without ever even thinking twice about it. Nestled in a random shopping center where I used to take dance lessons as a kid, this tiny place makes delicious brick oven pizza. They don’t deliver, but the 5 minute drive from my house is worth it lol. I ordered a traditional Margherita pizza and a pepperoni pizza. Both were good, but the Margherita pizza was fantastic with the fresh mozzarella cheese and basil. Next time, I will ask them to make all the pizzas I order with the fresh mozzarella because it really does make a huge difference. My only wish is that they made garlic rolls to go with my pizza! I guess I can sacrifice my need for garlic bread every so often to get such a yummy pizza! Definitely a must try especially if you live in the area.

Delicious pizza and sauce. I always order the regular Margherita and the crust is light and crispy, it feels really authentic. I always order take-out and ask for extra sauce on the side. The restaurant is tiny and not much to look at, but the pizza is great and the waitress is always so sweet and welcoming. Please note this is thin crust, real Italian style pizza so the«large» is a 12″ pie and it uses simple but amazing ingredients. It’s also cheap in comparison to other places with the same quality of product. Totally recommend it.

I want to talk about the pizza here. I live and went to school in Napoli, Italy, and I can tell you this as close to the real thing as you can get without going to Napoli. True, there are places on the beach that offer some authentic Neapolitan pizza too, but for way more money and not nearly as good. Not to mention the hassle you encounter parking. The owner, Franco, went to Italy to take a course on making pizza and gelato, and brought back all the equipment to open up his restaurant. If you’re not Italian, you might not realize it, but this place always has a few Italian patrons eating there. I know of no other Italian restaurants where this happens.

From central Italy to Hialeah?! A paradox and shock to most, but yet oh so true. Franco, owner, chef, pizza maker and gelato extraordinaire, has been imported all the way from central Italy to Hialeah, Miami(a neighborhood in very west Miami well known for its Latin flair and authentic Latin dives) to bring authentic Italian to the area. This might not be the largest restaurant(capacity around 18 people max) and it may be tucked behind a large shopping center and down a road that seems it may lead to a desolate farm area, but on the right hand side, you will find a small strip center where this little dive of a restaurant and gelateria is located. There’s nothing fancy about the décor or menu even, but the food is very good and the service is excellent and mostly«En Espanol»(I mean it’s still Hialeah, what did you expect?!) but my very sweet server did her best to speak to my very«gringa» self in English which was wonderful. The prices are extremely affordable especially given the quality of the ingredients. You are getting a better bang for your buck here than ordering from a chain pizza restaurant. The Margherita pizza was very good and«Italian style». I had the«personal size»(10 inch, $ 7.95) and it was more than enough for me, but for an additional $ 3.00, you can upgrade to the«traditional size»(12 inch, $ 10.95). For drinks, I had a canned diet coke and a water. Dessert, Mango Gelato, of course, I couldn’t resist after seeing all of Franco’s «University Di Gelato» accolades hung all over the walls. The mango gelato actually had dairy base which was new to me since I am used to most of the fruit gelato’s without dairy. It was very good, I just wish they offered a non-dairy gelato option but then again, I was in Hialeah and not SoBe so wanting a non-dairy gelato is probably an very obscure request. Excellent place for take out or a quick dine in experience. While I was seated there, many people came in with takeout orders and/or for a sweet treat of authentic gelato. I actually ended up taking a pie to drop off to a friend on the way home who also agreed that this was truly a delicious pie. Who knew there was one authentic Italian in Hialeah? You learn something new everyday… It was really a treat to be in Hialeah and have an authentic Italian option.

I’m not really sure about all the hype. When I walked in the place was absolutely empty on a Saturday afternoon. I’ve been to Italy and the ingredients are the same as any other restaurants in Miami. The décor was the ONLY Italian feel, it was more of Italian restaurant with a Cuban/American spin. The music was American smooth 80/90s music and the waitress only spoke Spanish. For the price this place is a fantastic deal!!! This is a wonderful place to bring the kids and the family for the quality, price, and quantity… but I can not give this place more than 3 stars.

I’ve been eying this place for a while but never got around to it. Yesterday I took the kids out for pizza and my son suggested we go to the usual(Anthony’s) but I suggested we try something different and we finally landed at Sapori. From the beginning is was a pleasurable experience! Clean dinning area, simple décor, small mom and pop pizza joint, loved it! When the food came out the kids were amazed, BINGO! We found a new pizza place! Kudos to the chef! Everything was fresh and tasty, including the gnocchi I took home to the wife :)

Hidden away in the access road where I75 meets the palghetto(that’s SR826) you will find a tasty pizza spot where the owner will wait for you if you call and are 5 minutes b away from closing time, and won’t rush you while you eat. Yep, the customer service alone is worth 5 stars! I had been here awhile back when they first opened after heading home from a business roadtrip down I75, and was pleasantly surprised to see it as one of Unilocal new businesses on the mobile app. Fiending Italian food after another long workday, I decided to stop by and was waited. Once inside, I enjoyed freshly prepared minestrone in a generously sized bowl. They’ll bring you extra condiments, and I spiked mine up with extra red pepper flakes. The soup was filling and very flavorful. Next up was a personal(10″) Hawaiian pizza. Made with real pineapple chunks, just crispy dough and dripping with melted mozzarella cheese it made my tummy happy. Next time I’ll just ask for a little extra marinara sauce. I’ve also enjoyed their fresh Caprese salad on other occasions. The décor is casual, with a couple of TV’S in the dining area and old school pizza place /cafeteria tables. It’s perfect for a week day work lunch or food after a roadtrip. They don’t deliver, but can call an order ahead. I know I will.

Came here about 2 weeks ago. It’s not on a main road so you gotta just know where it is or gps it or you’ll miss it completely. I ordered 2 medium pizzas which the largest they make and it wasn’t bad at all. The crust was a great texture and the ingredients for fresh(pepperoni on one and Margherita pizza on the other. My only complaint is a need to make bigger pizzas. Maybe it doesn’t fit in the brick oven they have or maybe it’s a Quality issue but either way it was a really good pizza but I have had better. I still want to try their lasagna though… I’ll be going back for that.

Not much to say except that was an incredible meal for all of $ 28. We ordered the lasagna and pizza capricciosa. I’m sure I misspelled that but it was GREAT! Come now.
