The pottery being sold here you will not find at Home Depot. This is authentic pottery to Mexico. You can find everything here from pots to Religious Statues. From outdoor patio things to indoor things. The place is actually pretty huge with a large selection of items to choose from. I have been buying«something» here off and on through the years. All in all, I recommend this place if you’re decorating with tribal ethnic Mexican décor. Unfortunately, although pretty visible, not many locals know about this wonderful shop. Things to note and blah, blah, blahs: * This shop is only accessible directly if you’re traveling north on Okeechobee Road where it would be on your right just after 8th street. If you’re travelling south(back towards Miami) you will have to make a u-turn on 8th street. Either way, you can’t miss it. It’s a large two story yellow old building with countless Mexican Décor everywhere. * Parking — Although limited, I have never had a problem finding a spot to park here. * Exiting this business — You can only make a right onto Okeechobee Road(heading north.) RELAX! You’re not lost. If you stay going north on Okeechobee Road, eventurally, you will run into the Palmetto Expressway. Before then, however, there are several ways to leave Hialeah. Just set your GPS. Seriously, though. No way to get lost. * This shop does not honor a refund policy. Check the items carefully before leaving. * Language here is español with the occasional sign in English. Honestly? I’ve never tried to speak to anyone here in English before. * This shop offers delivery(prices vary.) * This shop offers layaway. * Prices here range anywhere between about Twenty-something Dollars to several Hundred Dollars. * Worth mentioning again — The stuff being sold here is very nice and authentic. Not the stuff you find at places like Home Depot decorated in Mexican style by the Chinese four year old in China that also programmed your intelligent phone. * Basically, come here expecting to spend some of your hard earned money. It’s not cheap. Again, really nice stuff. Fun Fact: That is not a canal running parrallel to Okeechobee Road. That is actually the Miami River. Back in the day ships used to be able to travel on it which, is mostly how Hialeah and Miami Springs were built. The city you see on the other side is Miami Springs. If it was still possible to do today, if you sailed on that river heading southeast(left,) you would end-up in Biscayne Bay around Brickell. You can’t anymore because bridges were built over it through the years impeding a passage. #KeepItLocal #Hialeah
