Today I was disappointed. El Que tienda tiene, tiene Que atenderla. Our server was nice after she realized the server that was suppose to wait on us had totally missed our table. It took forever for to get to order finally. The bathroom was nasty. I’m not sure what happened today food took forever, everything was in slow motion. #Disappointed.

I think the main reason why I love coming to this restaurant is, not only the food but the service. Rene, the male waiter that works outside most of the time, is amazing he is so nice and polite. He had made the experience for my husband and I just amazing. The food is delicious and it has yet to let me down.

This was a 50⁄50 visit. Ordered breaded steak with rice mixed with beans. I was assuming that the beans were black beans and rice mixed and they ended up turning out to be red dry pasty beans. It was so bad couldn’t eat it. The platanos were dry and hard as well. The steak was pretty good and tequenos were amazing!

Their food is alright, I’ve had better food at different locations in Hialeah. I came here one time around 10 or so and saw a couple making out about to have some sort of session and it just made me super uncomfortable. Their employees are nice but the bus boys are like super creepy staring you down every time they walk by…

This Latin Café was never my favorite, but recently I have begun frequenting after realizing how amazing the food is– and consistent. Is this the best Cuban food you’ll find in Hialeah? No. But it is absolutely consistent and its quite delicious. Their morro(mixed white rice and black beans) is tasty! Flavorful and delectable. Their bistec empanizado is also right on point and comes in a very large portion. I went yesterday and asked for simple bakery items and decided to test their competency with this. I ordered one beef empanada, one papa rellena and one guayaba tequeño(disappointed they dont offer the guayaba and cheese one). The empanada was great! So great that I ordered another and gobbled them down. The papa rellena was also perfectly done. I always use papa rellenas as a test by cutting it down the middle and touching to see if the meat in the middle if cooked through– and it was! Delicious too. The tequeño was a bit overfried and too crisp, but I honestly have zero complaints because it was good. I highly recommend this location!

Best cuban empanadas i’ve had so far. Their shakes are tasty as well. As for the actual food theres other places where you can get actual authentic(non-americanized) cuban food. For less money & better tasting.

Food is great. Went for breakfast recently & the croquetas are perfect especially with a little squeeze of lime(yum). But for what it is(Cuban food in the middle of Hialeah) it’s a little pricey. There’s PLENTY of restaurants serving authentic Cuban cuisine in the Hialeah area with better prices.

I have been here several times and the only word that comes to mind is average. The only thing I really like about it is that it stays open late. Nothing in the menu really stands out. The Vaca frita is dry. The pan con tortilla is bland. The milkshakes are watery. In my honest opinion there are much better cuban restaurants in the area.

The restaurant is very clean. There are a ton of choices on the menu. Food is very good but service is very slow. I was very impressed that the manager was busing tables.

This restaurant is exactly what they say it is, «A taste of Cuba.» It’s an Americanized version of Cuban food and tourists love it. For example, they will replace rice with french fries unless ordered with rice. The food is quite delicious and the portions are beyond what you would expect. They are quite huge. The prices are higher than what you would pay at other Cuban restaurants for almost the same dish you ordered here. Again, the portions are quite large in comparison to other restaurants. You can’t go wrong here and I take friends who come for a visit to Miami from other places all the time. Here, you will get the«taste» of Cuban food but, it is not authentic. It has been altered to satisfy the masses.

Everything here tastes awesome!!! You should try their coconut flan, mango cheesecake, and crème brûlée. Their fried shrimp is crazy good. The Mariquitas are supercalifragilisticespeealadocious. They even have delivery, which is a big plus when you just don’t want to leave your house!:-)

Dining here is always a pleasure. The waitresses always welcome us as if we’re guests in their home. The bilingual staff is always friendly which enhances the feel of eating in an authentic Cuban restaurant. For our breakfast routine it’s well worth passing up many other restaurants on the way. The prices are very reasonable and portions are generous. I recommend eating here and asking for Ramona specifically for outstanding service. Although, the entire waitressing staff is worth the trip.

I am a big fan of their chicken noodle soup! I cant have enough from it. Also the rest of the food from the menu there is nothing to complain about. Service could be a little bit faster, but i guess that’s not so the important part. That’s why i still will give them 5 stars.

I had one of the best dining experience of my life here. I love Cuban food, and I am starved of it in my home town in Maryland. So while here with my Cuban wife and her Cuban high school friend, we went to Latin Café. The Peccadillo is Awesome. The croquetas sampler platter is to die for. Cuban sandwich, OMG! The portions are AMPLE. This place is as close to an authentic Cuban dining experience as you could ask for. No, it IS authentic Cuban dining. We left with lots of leftovers for later. And no doubt our waiter thought that the guayabera was going to burst on this Cubanophile gringo. LatinCafe will be where I tell any of my friends visiting southern Florida to get their authentic Cuban meal. And by the way, this place is very reasonably priced. Ignore Liana H. I HIGHLY doubt they could get more authentic Cuban food then Latin Café in Miami. I ate dinner there with two Cubans, and they thought the food was pretty darn fine AND was up to CUBANMOMSTANDARDS. I have not read any of Liana H.‘s other reviews, but I think they were at Denny’s, and mis-identified where they were at. Truly off the mark. This persons review was diametrically opposed to my real experience.

Best media noche and freshly sweeze Orange juice around !!! I remember back in the days everyone use to make delicious media noches. Then it came to cutting down on cost and making crappy food. Not this place. They still have it packed down.

I find it SAD that I can get better and more authentic Cuban food in California! From start to finish this place was a hot mess. I am dumbfounded on the 4.5 rating but PLEASE read this review before dining here. If you are in the mood for shit service, Americanized Cuban food, and a nasty taste left in your month, then this is the place for you. Let me break it down: I should have realized from the menu that this wasn’t the place but we were starved so I sucked it up. The menu has Hamburgers and Italian food on it. … We started out with two appetizers, potato balls with ground meat and coquettes. The ground beef in the ball was cold, as in a little frozen! YUCK. I am still unsure what the filling of the coquettes were but they were a little more forgiving in taste than the potato balls. They also brought hard bread with a pound of butter to the table. I had a taste and then never touched it again. It was disgusting and embarrassing. I ordered the Bistec de Palomilla, because how hard is a thin piece of meat? Well apparently, pretty darn hard. It had no flavor, not even salt and pepper. I flagged down out waitress and asked for some minced garlic and lemon to help out. My sides were black beans and sweet plantains. The sides were just ok but I was annoyed by the menu. Here is what the side menu looked like: Choose any two: –Black Beans –Rice –Mix of Beans and Rice –Fries Pop Quiz: If you could choose two sides from this menu, would you be led to believe that the«mix of beans and rice» are two separate sides? Well i didn’t, because why the hell would they even offer the mix if they already listed beans and rice as two different sides. We tried to order the mix and the plantains but they told us that that would be three sides, and not two. !!! Jason D ordered the roast pork(the most popular dish) and he wasn’t over the moon about it. It was his birthday so I thought ok, maybe dessert will be better. NOPE. We ordered a flan(tasted like a tin can) and a slice of brownie cheesecake(95% brownie, 5% cheese«something») All in all, AVOID! It reminded me of Denny’s.
