On October 23, 2015 I had a medical procedure at Dr. Garcia’s office and they asked me for a $ 1,250.00 deposit in case my insurance wouldn’t covered the entire charge. I was supposed to get it back in around 30 days. My insurance approved part of the claim, exactly $ 3,328.81 of the 4,320.00 they asked for, on 12÷06÷15. I called the office to check when I was getting the refund but they didn’t have an answer. On January 14, 2016 after more than 20 calls and no answer I had to go the office and ask for an explanation. Cathleen the supervisor told me that the billing department was going to re-​submit the claim for the rest of the money. I called my insurance the week after to check on the status and they told me the request hasn’t been made. I waited the 30 days that Cathleen had told me I had to wait again. On February 15, 2016 I called Cathleen and asked her for and update and she told me she didn’t had an answer. So by now has been 123 days and I still have no idea when am I getting my money back. After I did some research I found out that if I have HMO Insurance, that I do, they are not supposed to charge me anything and they are doing what is call Balance Billing that it is against Florida Statues. My insurance explain me that they only need my medical records to approve this claim but Dr. Garcia’s office hasn’t done anything.

The service is the worst! Super unprofessional and disorganized personnel. My wife and I waited for over two hours without attention and was told to come back for a second visit for a simple procedure because the technician was not there… Q: Why didn’t they tell us in the beginning? A: So they can charge you twice! Yes! We had to pay! These Unilocal one star reviews do not lie! If I could we will give a ½ or 0 star! Don’t go there! Beautiful office thought!

Find another Doctor. Do NOT go here. Do your research and find someone competent.

I usually don’t write bad reviews but hopefully I can save you time and headache. I was looking for an OBGyn. Dr Victoria is great and her office looked like what I was looking for. Turns out it was a nightmare ! Besides the 4hr to 6 hr office wait,(with an appointment) the staff is very disorganized. I had a very easy and uncomplicated pregnancy yet they made my pregnancy horrible. They make you pay your Dr’s bill before 36 weeks and will Call you even on Sunday nights to collect. Turned out my doctor didn’t even deliver my baby. I over paid and it took them 3 mths to reimburse me after I said I was going to take legal action. A Pregnancy is an emotional and exciting time, enjoy it.
