Horrible place! There is one waitress there that has the worst attitude. She is sooo rude. She changes the price in the menu after she gives you the bill. And the manager there is super incompetent. Go to another Don Camaron because this is NOT a good one. Do not recommend at all. If i could give 0 stars i would.

This restaurant had their grand opening about a month ago. Inside it is your expected seafood restaurant décor but, modern. There is plenty of seating inside for customers. The only problem I foresee, when people find out about this restaurant, is the parking. Although there is plenty of parking, it is limited based on the number of tables inside. They also have a lovely outdoor patio with small tables for drinks. Not large tables for plates of food. Out there you get a glimpse of Hialeah Park across the street and the never ending traffic on Palm Avenue. Seafood being my least favorite of God’s created creatures, their prices that I saw online and let’s face it, it’s in Hialeah, I opened the door with the least favorable of expectations. Man was I in for a surprise throughout my dining experience. Not a stench of seafood while I was there. Neither on my plates or from other diners. How they can sell seafood this cheap, is beyond me. Today I had: * Cod«Bacalao» Fritters in their homemade tartar sauce: Everything about this dish, from presentation to taste, was fabulous. For $ 6.95 you are served five nicely sized fritters and it can’t be beat. * Shrimp Francaise: Nice sized shrimps, there were plenty, swimming inside parmesan cream sauce with three extra large tostones sticking out. I mean bro, this dish for $ 15.95 is beyond reasonable. I don’t even like shrimp. I hate sea roaches. They were delicious inside that sauce. So yeah, I can see this restaurant being very popular once word gets out. This isn’t the first nor the only Don Camarón in South Florida but it’s a much welcomed addition here in my hood.

Great place to get lunch, and probably dinner. Had lunch here and we ordered the dolphin sandwich with fries and shrimp enchilado(creole). Huge Cuban fish sandwich with a small mountain of fries. Fresh fish grilled with fresh lettuce, tomato and red onions on a huge Cuban bun served with tartar sauce. The fish was average. My friend had the creole shrimp which had about six large shrimps that he said were fresh and tasty. You get two sides with lunch, so he choose white rice and sweet plantains.
