Best Appliance Center

This review is for the Best Appliance Center out of the McKinney/​Frisco/​Plano area.
I had a need to call American Home Shield to have a 13 year old washing machine fixed. I made the call on a Saturday, on the Tuesday, two guys turned up (Edwin was the main guy) within the allotted time. They immediately diiagnosed the problem.
They did not have a the replacement part in their van but did a temporary fix, ordered the part, and told me thy’d be back on Friday.
On Friday they called, turned up on time, and finished the job.
They did exactly what we needed, they were on time, and they left everything in good order.
I would recommend them.

This is the worst company I have ever had contact with. After buying a gas stove, I had to go back three times to get the parts needed to hook it up. After three tries, I gave up and went to Home Depot to find the part. Then, the stove didn’t work, and after several calls, a repairman came out and said he was «mystified» as to why the stove didn’t work. I called the gas company, and they told me that it was actually a propane stove, and wouldn’t work on natural gas. When the repairman learned this, he said they would exchange it for a different stove the next day, and that he would be there to make sure it worked. When I went in to the store the next morning, the repairman wasn’t there. I called him on my cell phone, put him on speaker, and let the man who was there talk to him. After a long conversation in another language, the man told me they would have a stove out there between 3 and 5. At 4 pm, I called and was told that they closed at 3, and wouldn’t be available to even talk to us until next Tuesday. It is obvious that they had no intention of keeping any of their promises or commitments. It is also obvious that they don’t know much about their business. No one should do business with them. They cannot be trusted.

These people are in the process of relocating their business to Plano Texas. They came to service my refrigerator. Did not fix it, I called to have them come out again and thy told me they were ordering parts. I never spoke to them again because they would not return phone calls. Had to find someone else to fix my fridge.
I don’t know how they operated in CA, but watch out TX.
