Applegate’s Custom Countertops

We received bids from all 3 well-​known commercial companies and were not happy to say the least. It turned out that one grossly exaggerated our measurements another claimed they could do things they could not do and one was outright disrespectful, the last cancelled and never rescheduled. Then we were referred to Lyle at Applegate. First, he went through material selection; Lyle educated us on the different types of countertop materials available and the pros/​cons of each so that we could make an educated choice. He never tried to shove the most expensive products at us, instead he gave us the information to make our own choice. Lyle was exceptionally patient and even came back a second time to help me with color choices. Lyle never charged us for an estimate, unlike the others who charged $ 40.00 — a complete waste of our time. In addition a to our countertops, Applegate’s also installed our travertine and glass mosaic tile backsplash — we could not be happier with both. We had a deadline for installation and Applegate’s met it for us — WOW. Other things that were important; they showed up on time, mess was minimal, Lyle did everything he said he would do every step of the way. We love our countertops and backsplash — it looks like a brand new kitchen!

We shopped around the big box stores and even had a couple of estimates done but we just saw the same old boring materials and weren’t exactly comfortable with the estimators those stores sent out. I found Applegate custom countertops in Hesperia and gave them a call. I was sold on the professionalism Lyle displayed and his knowledge of the craft. Our new Countertops were installed in a matter of weeks and we selected the granite ourselves from the material yard. We are very happy with the craftsmanship and along the way we met a new friend in Lyle. When these guys say they will be there on a certain date, at a certain time, they are there and that goes a long way with me. I give these guys and Lyle a 10 !
