I was not a fan of Yoga on Chocolate. I recently took a class there for the first time with Sharon. I’ve frequented yoga studios over the past several years and have never had an experience like this. Before the class started my friend and I were loudly scolded by Sharon for talking in the«om zone». It was our first time there, so we had no idea about this rule. We spoke to someone at the desk that gave us the rundown when we first arrived but this was not mentioned. A few minutes later Sharon proceeded to have a conversation with someone in the«om zone». Huh? This incident did not set a good tone for the class, which was supposed to be «relax and renew». Throughout the class, Sharon stayed up front on her mat doing every pose as if it was her workout and we were just there following along. I’ve never had an instructor that did not walk around the room to make sure poses were done correctly. We did several poses that I have not done before despite my past yoga experience. I ended up with pain in my knees and elbow the next day. Was I performing the poses wrong? Maybe, but the instructor wasn’t engaged enough in the class to know. The most shocking occurrences was when the instructor talked about how good it was to stretch your bones. I felt like someone was playing a joke on me at this point. Finally, after awkwardly rolling around on a foam roller for a while, the class was over. I left never to return!

Excellent Yoga Studio!!! I go for Hot Vinyasa Flow. Love all the teachers. The best part I like is it’s for all level of students. For every pose/asana teachers show basic to intermediate to advanced version of that asana while explaining it’s purpose i.e. what are you working on… so it’s never that I’m blindly doing something in the class. There is always a reason why I’m doing what I’m doing. I love the fact that they have classes on Saturdays and Sundays. I attend evenings and weekend classes. Highly recommend. I’ve made some of very good friends there.

I have visited the small sometimes boring town of Hershey Pennsylvania many times. I was nervous at first to try out yoga and a new place, but it was recommended to me by the om lululemon app. I checked out the website and decided to sign up for a class online(very convent) When I walked in everyone was so friendly and inviting. The studio is just beautiful and was the perfect temp. I believe the instructors name was Kimberly for hot chocolate vinyasa, I loved her class and she was very welcoming and nice. I wi definitely be back! What a hidden gem! I do wish they had more time slots but they only have one studio and I’m sure that would make the classes even smaller.

This studio is AMAZING! It offers a wide range of classes. Classes are always open to all levels and the instructors are always wiling to assist you! As a HUGE plus the Barr class is really helping get my body back after having a baby, and a flow class is letting the stress of my day melt away. Bring on swimsuit season, this momma will be ready! Thanks YOC!!!
