When I called to ask if there would be room for me at the Zumba class, the woman who answered was very helpful and provided me with good directions to the studio. Zumba is a mix of latin and international dances so it’s all about shakin it and enjoying yourself! If losing calories is your goal, this routine can eliminate 500 – 800 an hour. Check out

The class, taught by Tanja Bossert, was super fun and enjoyable. The music was pumpin and her sassiness and smile motivated the whole room. I could tell some of the people were regulars but for my first time I felt I could keep up pretty well. I got a great workout and the classes are affordable. She also teaches Zumba Fusion at Pure Heart Yoga Studio in Fairfax, as well as Yava Yoga at Lady of America in Fairfax. Check it out!
