Customers deserve better quality food for the price they pay at Moe’s. I approached this place with an open mindset. I was not expecting authentic Mexican style food, just something good to eat. There was no effort by the server to heat the tortilla for my burrito. My burrito was raw and cold. The burrito bowl was even worse. The chicken was dry, the beans were not cooked or boil long enough to give it a smooth taste, and the chips had a spoiled taste. The salsa served was completely horrible. I think Moe’s should get their salsa supply from an authentic vendor, not Tostitos. Although, i do have one good thing to say about Moe’s, it was nice and clean on the inside. The place seems fit for families to stop by and have a meal.

Moe’s is another of the assembly line Mexican chains(Qdoba, Chipotle, Baja Fresh) that have popped up over the last many years. Food-wise, Moe’s stacks up pretty well. Beans and rice have decent flavor. Chips are not overly salty. There is a decent selection of salsas. There are lots of vegetarian offerings. They even have tofu. Why three stars? The service. My tofu bowl would have been better if it had had tofu in it(something I didn’t discover until eating far enough into it that it was too late to do anything about it). I was also not offered a cup for tap water. Yes, both of these items are little«shame on me» but the staff at Moe’s seemed a tad flummoxed(it was lunch time but not a killer rush). All in all, Moe’s is pretty good but watch the staff carefully and make sure that you get what you ordered.

Ordered catering for our Fantasy football draft back in September. Their steak was much more of a hit than thier chicken but other than that no compliants. The guacamole was awesome and thier«rock and roll» hot sauce was a big hit. I would defiantly order catering from this location again. BTW: Fed 12 guys and still had leftovers.

Of the big 4 big burrito chains(Baja Fresh, Chipotle, Moe’s and Qdoba), I’ll take Moe’s over the rest. This location is pretty much up to par with the rest of Moe’s locations I have visited. The staff is typically upbeat and friendly and craft a good burrito. The salsa bar is a nice touch. Even nicer is the fact that the chips are complimentary. I liked the old red, white and blue corn tortilla chips, but they don’t seem to be coming back. The biggest edge is the Moe’s Monday deal, mostly because I like the idea of getting guac and chips without paying extra. The big drawback of this location is the parking. The parking spots are sparse unless you park in the garage and walk up.

In a grand Olympics-style showdown among Moe’s, Chipotle, and Qdoba, Moe’s would win the All-Around Bronze Medal from me. However, they would totally earn a Gold for being the only one of the three to offer tofu and a serve-yourself salsa bar. However, I would give Moe’s demerits for their rice, meats, and prices(other than $ 5 Moe’s Monday). Chipotle and Qdoba simply have much tastier rice(and brown rice), more tender and flavorful meats, and better portions and meals for the price for the most part. The complimentary chips at Moe’s are nice if you’re into that; coupled with the salsa bar, it’s a great combo. This location also has a Coke Freestyle machine, so you can choose from 100s of soft drink choices. They also have beer at this location, plus homemade cookies. This location gets super-busy during weekday lunch time when the employees from the numerous offices around the shopping center walk over and queue up for their Moe’s fix, but it’s relatively dead during the weekend and evening hours. Parking at the Woodland Hills shopping center is awful, at least above ground. Save yourself some trouble(and some door dings) by parking underneath the shopping center. Oh, and Moe’s queso dip definitely wins a Gold medal among the Big 3 Burrito Joints… Chipotle doesn’t even offer it yet :)

Moe’s is probably my favorite of all the burrito chains, but this location is horrible. I stood in line almost 20 minutes before my ordering was complete. They’re VERY slow, and you can barely understand any of the staff.

I enjoy Moe’s great prices, organic tofu, sautéed veggies and mushrooms. On Mondays you get a loaded burrito, chips and a drink for $ 5– amazing value! Although I am vegetarian, I appreciate the fact that they have hormone free meat for my husband. If Moe’s offered brown rice like Chipotle they would be perfect in my book! Hubby likes the push-button coke dispenser. Great atmosphere in there. I do not mind the zealous welcome shouts at all. The salsa bar is not to be missed.

I only order catering from this location for company meetings and not only is the food delicious, they are so generous with their portions compared to Baja Fresh, On the Border, etc. I would order for 10 and it’ll feed up to at least 20. If you want to do a fajita or taco bar, choose Moe’s! This one guy who does the delivery and set up of the food is super friendly and takes his time setting up the food to make it look nice. They automatically provide chafing dishes for you so the food stays warm whereas other places would charge you extra. Choose this location if you ever do catering!

I love this Moe’s. The service is great and they are all so friendly…“Welcome to Moe’s”. We have been here several Monday night’s due to their Moe’s Monday deal… where you get a drink, any burrito and chips/salsa for $ 5.95. FANTASTICDEAL! My only complaint was that this last visit, they were out of the pinto beans.(Person ordering before us was told that they were out of steak, but by the time I ordered it looked like they had pulled some off the grill.) I had chicken though so can’t verify if that was steak or pork that came off. The coke freestyle machine is awesome and I will come here again and again just to get my Coke with Lime. Man I miss that in bottles. Chips and Salsa bar complement their HUGE and tasty burritos. You can order sides of queso and guacamole as well which are yummy. We will keep coming back to this location :)

Too bad this place is never open. I have visited Moe’s at least 5 times when the website and door hours say it should be open, and it never is. Today(a Sunday) I showed up at Moe’s a little before 6pm. Doors were locked. There have been multiple times during the week that I’ve gone to Moe’s and the doors were locked before 7:45pm(website and door hours say it will be open until 9pm). This has been extremely frustrating. Luckily, Qdoba is under a mile away from Moe’s, and as it turns out the food is much fresher there, and the store is much more dependable with the hours.

Well I’m back to try Moe’s again, it’s the only things the kids would agree on. Well it was a little better, not so dried out. The staff didn’t seem to want to be there, but oh well. Kids loved the chips, which were solid and they ate their burritos. They have added the magic coke machine which I love! All that said, it was a better experience. But I would still choose Moby Dick House of Kabob a few doors down.

They have one of those coke machines where you can pick like a ba-zillion flavors and mix and match. It’s touch screen and I’m a nerd so I love it. The people that work here are very nice and I love hearing, «Welcome to Moe’s!» when I walk in. There’s a pretty great salsa bar and you can take your fill. They do offer some specials on specific days, but I always seem to miss it.

Good place for a burrito and chips and guacamole fix. Still prefer the ingredients of Chipotle, but Moe’s definitely comes through in a pinch.

I like Moe’s. It took me a couple times to figure out their burrito, but once i did, i was hooked. Moe’s is a good burrito when you are sick of Chipotle. I like that you can have drastically different flavor combinations. At Chipotle, no matter what you do, it all kind of tastes the same. This location used to have a burrito combo for $ 5.99 on Saturdays. I loved it. We were there every weekend during triathlon training season… but then they did away with it and we don’t go as much. That makes me sad. Food is still yummy. Location is always clean and busy. Staff is friendly.

The great food at this place really needs to be known. Moe’s is a great place for Mexican food. I used to love Taco Bell, then I went to Moe’s. It’s delicious and just as affordable as Taco Bell. You can get a good sized taco with great grilled ingridients for just a little over $ 2. If they are smart, though, they will start offering some taco combos on their menu. They have some burrito combos(great burritos too! btw), but they really need a decent taco combo for 5 stars. + great food qualtiy + great prices — no taco combos

A nice cross between Chipotle and Baja Fresh. I enjoyed my burrito but I didn’t get the nice flavor of cilantro rice that I enjoy so much from Chipotle. Veggie lovers will like that Moe’s also offers tofu in addition to the regular selection of different meats. And if you’re not that hungry or on a budget they offer everything in a less expensive junior size. They also offer a condiments bar of different types of salsas. Tried them all and the tomatillo sauce was by far the best. I wasn’t annoyed by the constant shouting of «WELCOMETOMOE’S!» because I get what they’re doing: you’re gonna remember where you ate at and talk about it to your friends later. It’s like a form of mind control advertising! Look at me… I’m talking about it right now!

I love Moe’s! Especially on 5.99 for any burrito day. I usually get the Art Vandalay, with Tofu, sauteed mushrooms, peppers/onions, and you can even put black olives and cilantro on your burrito. So much better than Chipotle and Quadoba. Free salsa bar and unlimited chips. But the burrito is so big you probably can’t finish it or even make it to your chips. I don’t understand why Tofu is extra, and the lady said«because it’s like meat» but that’s exactly what tofu is not like. Tofu comes from soy beans, so why would it cost extra? It’s just another bean. Other than that annoying issue, I still go here but I just go on the 5.99 days. Oh and they have beer and margaritas for like $ 2!

This Moes is the one I visit the most since it is right across the street from my Condo. They always do a superb job. The food is fresh and has wonderful flavor. They have a variety of uniquely named food that truly makes it fun to order. Instead of getting a «burrito» like the nasty Chipotle place, you can get a «Joey bag o Donuts» which is fun. It really makes it easy to remember what I like. The welcoming staff and wonderful food makes this restaurant the best. PS — Their Queso is better than any other restaurant. I have had many queso’s and this one rocks!

This place can be hit or miss, but the last time we went in there it was okay. The names of their food are kind of strange, but they have everything that you’ve seen at every other fast-food Mexican place: fajitas, quesadillas, burritos, queso, etc. They give you a lot of food for what you order, When you walk into this place, they always have someone behind the counter scream«WELCOMETOMOE’S!», which at first you think is a nice touch, but when you’re sitting there, eating your food and keep hearing that, it gets annoying very quickly.

One and a half. The line service was really friendly, but the cashier shortchanged me. Why on earth would you give so many weird names to your entrees? Lots of vegetarian options. Food tasted like fast food at its lowest. Bland tortilla chips, probably out of a stale store bag.
