Ate at Flip’s for the first time today mainly since they are walking distance from my office. Got an interestingly named roast beef sandwich on a sub roll. The food was prepared with care, tasted as expected, and was inexpensive. I paid, left a tip, and walked away very pleased and with a full stomach. While my sandwich was being made, I saw behind the counter what looked like a full size turkey that was roasted that day, and had been sliced as needed for sandwiches — not some previously sliced deli meat. I’ll definitely be back to try some of the specials, and will certainly go here instead of other local places for a quick lunch.

I recently move to an office hear Flip’s Deli. I’ve only been there a few times. Each time was a good experience. I don’t know how many people actually work here. I’ve only seen one lady working. I’ve been there for an early lunches and super late lunches. I think the best meal to get are the specials of the day. You tend to get more food then if you order a regular sandwich. The lady working is a very nice lady. She is always smiling and ready to talk to you. I hope this place is doing well. All the times I’ve been here, I’ve been the only person there =(. If you are in need of a quick bite to eat, stop by and get something. The prices are cheap. I don’t think there is on sandwich or special over $ 6. There are a few tables if you choose to eat there. The décor is nothing fancy. Pretty old tables and faded pictures. That doesn’t matter to me. The food does. This is my go to place if I need a quick lunch. It right next to my building and a quick walk =)

The couple running this deli are very sweet. Just the type of people you want to see succeed on this planet. That’s why I’m giving them an extra star. Otherwise… I often see my coworkers heading over to Flip’s for a quick lunch, so I guess they do make food people enjoy eating. I, unfortunately, haven’t had any of it yet. Most of what I’ve eaten in my few times here has been mediocre at best. I’ll update my post if I ever learn of anything worth making the trip for.

Flip’s Deli is located in an office building. I like swinging by here for lunch because of this fact and it’s kind of secluded. They offer standard office park deli fare. The owners and operators, Thomas and Sunny, are friendly and welcoming. They offer daily specials(Thursday Turkey platter is a favorite!) and all the specials and soups are homemade by Sunny. All sandwiches are made to order. They also have a salad bar. Breakfast is offered in the morning as well. I visit at least once a week. It’s open Monday — Friday from 7AM to 4PM. Not much décor in the place but the decent homemade food served up by the owners makes up for that. Give it a try if you are in the area and want something quick and inexpensive.
