Breakers Sky Lounge

It’s a good place to hang with some crew and your female, can dance, drink, play pool ($ 15),
throw darts, smokers on 2^nd level (closed in Area), dance floor, tables to sit eat and drink. Good fire ball drink. Elevator needs some fixing up as you can see in some of my pictures but other than that, it’s a cool place to chill and hang out and have some fun/​break some moves. :)

Very friendly bartenders and reasonably priced. Has pool tables. Good place to hang out with friends.

I’ll start by saying I haven’t been here in a while so my review is a bit dated. I used to go here quite frequently tho and play pool and have drinks/​food. The food is not bad, pretty average, typical pub food really. They have a huge variety of micro brews and a huge bar downstairs. Upstairs is another bar and what was a smoking pool room. Don’t know if that is still the case but my bf at the time smoked so he loved it there since smoking got banned in places.
The best part was on Sundays you could play for free, no, scratch that, you could play for free IF you spend $ 10 on food/​alcohol, so… basically free as you’re probably already want a couple beers while you play so it’s taken care of. We spent a lot of Sunday’s there (!) when it was winter, and also in summer when to hot/​humid to enjoy much outside. Hopefully they still have the Sunday special.
I never really hung out here on a Fri/​Sat evening but I think it turns into a dance club type place. I’ve also heard some fights breaking out is pretty normal.

The wings are pretty good. 12 $ pitchers. If you like to play pool and be able to smoke the sky lounge is just for you.

Me and My friends Love breakers! I had my party there recently and I must say they set the bar pretty high … I didn’t have reservations But the Host (A very Pretty girl) made sure me and my party of 50 were well taken care of… The drinks are always top notch and the DJ plays a little of everything which I love! … Some of the servers could be a little more attentive but thats ok… Thank you Ty (HOST) for your A1 service!

I went on a Monday Night for my friends’ 21^st birthday. While the place is large and accommodates a lot of people, our bartender was not kind at all. In fact, she was pretty rude. My friend was waiting for her drink and when a guy showed up behind her — the bartender completely ignored her and asked the guy what he wanted to drink.
They do have different events each day of the week. On Mondays in particular, they have poker night. There is also a happy hour on Mondays — Fridays. The food looked good but I didn’t have any. The alcohol was well… alcohol.
You do get a 25% off food & pool coupon for checking in here though, so try it out. Maybe you’ll get a good bartender this time.

This bar is great for $ 4 quesadillas and discounted beer on thursdays. The karaōke volume needs to be turned down when karaōke is on you can’t hear anything but the person singing. I’m not one for bars but I would imagine people would like to be able to converse with friends sitting next to them. Overall it’s an average sports bar with a big area to play pool and a smoking area.

Very large space. Decent bar food. A lot of pool tables, but many of them were worn bare. I can’t imagine how much use they get, but for a place built around billiards, I would expect the tables to be better maintained. Overall a good experience.

YUM! Great food, GREAT customer service and great atmosphere. They have a lot of great events. They also host free poker games, and karaōke night. Great place :)

Ugh this place is so disgusting. It’s one of those where you’d honestly rather lick the sidewalk than spend any amount of time in. It’s grimy, in the heart of Hernando, and the elevators you have to take to get up there are honestly something you’d see in a stabbing movie. You can smoke in the sky lounge but they need a ventilation system that actually freakin works cuz it’s suffocating. i will say the last time i came in (a couple years ago by now) they had a decent selection of vodka and the bartender was excited to try a new drink i described to him and that was fine, but everything else is just… ew.

Last minute thing… so we played pool of course I lost… only thing I didn’t like was it was to loud to me… dont know if I would go back

Terrible customer service experience from the manager Chris last night. Prices are decent but the mixed drinks tasted watered down. The place was pretty much empty after the Super Bowl. My fiancé sat on the pool table watching me and her father shoot. The waitress politely asked her not to sit on the pool table to which she complied. Two games later my fiancé unintentionally leaned against another table and security asked her not to lean against the table to which she complied.
Out of curiosity and not understanding the policy because other patrons were leaned against the pool tables she went to the entrance/​desk area and asked the waiter and security guard what was the difference between leaning on the table to take a shot and people leaning on the table to observe. before the waitress and security guard could explain the manager Chris overheard her question, intervened and told her to leave the establishment and that he was calling the police. He came over to me and my dad and throws our bill on the table and said we need to leave because my fiancé sat on the pool tables 3 times.
the manager Chris was way overboard with his response and when I attempted to talk with him and asked him a question about the clubs policy he felt challenged and began saying the police is downstairs and he didn’t have to deal with us. I couldn’t believe it! That part didn’t bother me but when he told me «you better pay your bill or in calling the police» I took offense. At No time did we raise our voices, call him or the staff out of their names, drunk or disorderly or come off as intimidating or aggressive. We had only 1 round of drinks.
In my 22 years of Naval Service and visiting various establishments I have never felt so belittled or kicked out of a establishment for asking a question. I am going to go back and talk with the owner today and if that is the type of customer service he supports from his managers then I would never recommend the place to any of my friends, family, Veterans, Service Members or Masonic /​G\ brothers. Totally unpleasant experience.

Negative experience. If I could give a 0 I would. Manager Chris gave a complete sour taste in MY Mouth with this place. Complete negative over reaction to customer inquiry of pool table requirement and regulations. This manager spoke false accusations to our party, and blatantly for no reason insinuated in a comment «and if you don’t pay your bill we can call the cops.» I feel as if he profiled us and was EXTREMELY rude and unprofessional as a «manager» in a leadership role. Very poor customer service experience. I have gave this place my money and business on a number of occasions and this by far was THE WORST experience yet.

Place was atmost okay. I attended a get together for my friends 30^th bday celebration last weeked. Drinks were extremely over priced about ($ 9 for a tiny drink). Dont really understand why there is a dress code as the establisment itself is not the cleanest.
Dj was pretty decent and the area they have for the dance floor was pretty spacious. Overall, an okay experience.

There are only two things I adore about Breakers: the discounted quesadillas on Thursday nights, and the bartender Erik (he has long hair and is super nice). Otherwise, it’s not really my kind of bar — not that I really have a kind of bar, but I prefer places where you can sit around and chat. I also like places with a relaxed and unique vibe. Breakers is a pool hall, but not necessarily a classy one. I remember coming here a lot when I was younger, but it’s lost its charm as I’ve gotten older and more snobby.
The crowd varies by night, sometimes it’s really young, sometimes it’s really old. It seems like there are often company events and happy hours here. And I like karaōke night (Thursday) because it reminds me of good times — and because there are great discounts like cheap quesadillas! I wish I could give Breakers more stars, but it usually smells funky in there, so I don’t usually stay for very long.

Terrible experience last night. Ordered 6 shots of Patron Silver and the bartender underpoured. She filled up the shaker with ice and did a 6 second pour, which is only 2 shots, then filled up 3 shot glasses. Did the same thing for the other 3. I’m pretty sure that’s illegal, and unconscionable considering the cost of a single shot of Patron. I will never use that bartender again, and I’m fairly sure they are all underpouring whenever possible to save money. Someone from ABC should investigate this place.

Breakers is cool, they have a nice bartending staff and pool tables on both floors, you’re allowed to smoke upstairs so I don’t go up there too much but the layout is nice, they have specials daily ($ 1 beers on Thursday) and the food is actually pretty good, it’s a cool spot to chill, play pool and get a some decent food and discounted drinks

Eh. That’s the word that truly sums up this place. I ordered hamburgers and fries for takout. On my burger I ordered lettuce and raw onions. When I got back and opened up my styrafoam container, I was upset to discover that there was more lettuce in the container and on the french fries than on the burger itself. The burger was somewhat soggy and, well, eh! I’ll definitely be looking for a different burger joint when in Herndon again.

What’s up? I identify in the LGBT community. And it’s the only legit «hetero — normative» straight bar/​place I can be comfortable In. It’s chill. Laid back vibe. Variety of people. It’s a good break from the robotic, snotty scene in Reston Town Center bars. Been a few times to Breakers in past.

Went there the other night for a few drinks. Eric and Christina were tending bar and were real polite and gave great service.
Beer selection was good, would have liked a few more local beer choices.
Overall good experiences and I will be revisiting
