I bought the Unilocal deal which provides a $ 25 voucher for $ 15. When I went to the store, there were two people working and neither had any clue about this deal nor what to do with it. I literally spent 25 minutes in the store with a back and forth where the woman working the counter said she would honor the deal and then wouldn’t honor the deal. She had no clue what to do. I eventually had to walk out frustrated with no food and had to call Unilocal to get a refund. She wasn’t unpleasant in anyway, but was driving me crazy with her back and forth. I feel bad, as the owner probably didn’t leave instruction for how to handle the Unilocal deal, wherein lies the problem.
I can’t speak to the quality of the food, although I wasn’t optically impressed.
This experience was annoying and painful enough, however, where I feel justified in leaving this review.

Love this place! The philly sub was spot on. Don’t leave without trying the cannoli. The staff was so efficient. I went while it was super busy but they still managed to make an amazing sub, quickly.

A Deli is amazing! We go there all the time, and no matter what’s ordered, you can always count on it being great. From a Big smokey, Big A, Cheese steak, fries, even their salads are on point! You can even buy meat and cheese by the pound and it’s better quality than your grocery stores. Amazing food and amazing people that work there! Oh… and lets not forget the wine and desserts!

Delicious Fresh food with great service. I ordered the lunch boxes for a large meeting and it was a huge hit with everyone. The lunch boxes came with a sub, «dirty» brand chips a dessert and a drink.
Subs: The subs were a good size made with premium meats and cheeses (not gross like the meats and cheeses used at Subway). The bread was incredibly fresh and delicious!
Dessert: in each lunch box comes a good large piece of dessert either a chocolate chip brownie or a chocolate chip cookie bar. Both were excellent and a complete surprise in terms of taste and size.
Delivery /​Service: The service was good and the delivery arrived on time with my order.
If you have to order lunch for a group of people, A Deli is the place to go with!

The Philly cheese steak was the best I have ever had! The meat was super juicy and tender! Has a good cozy atmosphere with a mural of Italy on one wall. Great wine and Italien meats selections.

The first time I went here it was fantastic and that’s why I’m giving them two stars instead of one. The second time I went here with my husband it was horrible. I ordered a Roast Beef sub on wheat with lettuce, tomatoes, onions and hot pepper. I said no cheese and no mayo twice. After we waited 15 minutes for our two sandwiches (we were two out of three customers on a Monday night) we got them, maybe because the guy was on his cellphone while he was making them. When I got home and opened up my sandwich I was disappointed to see white bread. Next, cheese and mayonnaise, two things that I detest on my sandwich. Last, no hot peppers. I could barely eat the sandwich and even though I really wanted to throw it out, I felt guilty since we paid for it. We will not be going back to this place.

A-​Deli reminds me of being around friends and family! My company orders from here all the time so I know the owner and his family. You can never go wrong with this place! The food is so good and the sandwiches are always full with whatever meat you order. Hands down, one of the best places to pick up a truly authentic Italian sub.

Went to this place on Wednesday watched the cook keep her rubber glives on, accept cash from other customers, then continue to go back to cooking how disgusted I was when I saw this dealing with people’s food and money at the same time. after seeing this I threw my sandwich away I can’t believe how disgusting it was to watch this I also witnessed at the same time family members or friends going behind the counter at the same time she was cooking my meal again disappointing and unprofessional I’ll never go back there again

Had an awful chicken and cheese sub here. They used low quality white bread that wasn’t fresh, the chicken was very dry and the cheese hadn’t really melted. Mayo doesn’t come with it standard so I had to ask for some and add it to the sandwich.

I went in today to get an Italian sandwich. I was excited to see there was an Italian sandwich shop near my office.
I changed my mind when I was in line because the open kitchen was a little to revealing. Everyone in the back wore there gloves like the were supposed to with the exception of one guy assembling the cold meat sandwiches. Glove on left hand but using right. I’m a big believer of what you don’t know won’t hurt you but when you see it, it changes your opinion. Apparently he is above the rules. The guy looked like he was a possible manager or owner. Not sure. I left before I ordered.

My fiancé and I are crazy about the Philly cheesesteaks here. They are so darn satisfying! Their bread is something else (and folks from Philadelphia should know that the bread matters!)! The Phillies are definitely the reason why our mouths water when we talk about this place. I hope to try other things on the menu, but the Phillies are so solid, I don’t think I can get anything else.

Anyone that recommends the cheesesteak in this place has no clue what a steak sandwich is. The bread was two days old, dry and fell apart. I ordered the 12 inch. They use the same amount of meat on the 8 and 12 in subs. So you only get more bad bread, no more meat. The cheese was cold (not melted). The meat lower quality. Overall one of the worst steak sandwiches I’ve had in a long, long time. Oh and the guy behind the counter is not friendly. I asked for jalopeno peppers, he told me to go to the Mexican place next door. h

I was in the mood for something cheap, something good. This place hit the spot. When I walked into this Italian deli, I was immediately greeted by a man who seemed to be the owner. He was very friendly and quick to assist when I had a question about the menu.
I chose the Italian Stallion sandwich. It was very tasty and loaded with onions, banana peppers, and tomatoes, in addition to the meat and cheese. The sandwich was very large (and it was the small!) — probably enough to feed two people if you also purchased the chips and drink. Nice, family owned deli!

Combo #2: Any cheesesteak with fries and a drink!
I got the Classic Philly. It was decent for the DMV because I don’t think that there’s a legit cheesesteak place around. This place didn’t have wiz which automatically disqualifies it from being a true philly cheesesteak. The bread was really good though, it was soft, yet firm enough to hold all the fixings, and they toasted it, so had a good crunch on the outside. Meat was decent flavored, needed a little more cheese overall. French fries were pretty good and had a little seasoning sprinkled on top.
Cute spot, classic Italian deli. Will definitely go back!
