Great bed and breakfast! My friend and I have been traveling around America on a girls adventure. It was a few days before Halloween and we really wanted to stay in an older house. Many B&B’s are made to look old, but are not actually from the period they are made to look from. So we were really surprised how perfect this B&B was. Big and old, you can feel the history of the house by just standing close. Even better we showed up and the owners were not there. They left us the key to the whole house! We went in and as the sun set our imaginations got the better of us. Every noise had us hold our breathes. We stayed in Jenny’s room, which is a lovely room, and the room is decorated with at least two dolls. I don’t have to tell you that we kept a close eye on those dolls all night. As the clock rolled over to midnight my friend had convinced me I had talked to a ghost over the phone and no one living actually lives in the house. The next morning we woke up to the nicest couple I have ever met and definitely not ghosts. Ellen was an amazing cook and Tom was hilarious and a great conversationalist. We got a wonderful 4 course breakfast and a lot of tips on things to visit in Atlanta and around Hernando. This place is great stay for an excellent price. If I had to complain about anything it would be that the B&B isn’t on a larger piece of property.
