Sand Spa Hermosa Beach

So so disappointed. Booked a Massage for my Birthday and also added on Beach Feet. I was so excited to finally get away and relax and get pampered. I have been having headaches and tired feet and expressed this to the Therapist. I have never been here before and was hoping to make it my go to place. Well after my little rub down, no Beach Feet was done. I thought I would get a good Scalp Massage for the headaches, but that was hardly touched. and thought the neck area would get a lot of attention as well as my feet. I walked out of there feeling exactly like when I walked in there. The Reception took off the Beach Feet when I told her that was not done. I told her I wasn’t happy and was hoping for more then a little rub, something I can get at home. What a waste of time and Money. The Massage Therapist was Elderly, but I still kept a Positive attitude upon walking in the room, because I thought who cares, I bet she will do a good job.

My go-​to massage spa. Sand Spa is clean and has the best massage therapist. I’ve been in a number of times and never feel like I have to request anyone specific because I’ve always gotten exactly what I needed. When I work out I tend to not stretch as much as I should causing my muscles to tense up like guitar strings. I almost always get a Swedish/​Deep Tissue combo, it’s effective in relieving the pain yet still allows me to relax. I’ve been to both locations they are both in close proximity to the beach but, I most frequently have visited Hermosa. Gretchen is always helpful in communicating with me and my therapist. Ask for her if you need help. Highly recommend giving this place a try — you won’t regret it!

I love the Sand Spa in MB, and I go there all the time – but I thought I’d check out the new location, and I’m so glad I did. This place is gorgeous. As soon as I walked in, I felt a calmness and was greeted with a warm smile. Even though the spa was super busy, I felt welcomed and valued. My massage was awesome. The therapist paid attention to places that needed different amounts of pressure, and she checked in a few times to make sure I was comfortable. The rooms are also really big, and for some reason that made the massage more relaxing for me; I didn’t feel like the therapist was schooching around the table. This spa also has a shower, so that’s cool to rinse off the oil before walking down to the beach. Sand Spa is a perfect beginning to a perfect day: massage, lunch, beach. I also can’t beat the price. The massages are infinitely better than many of the Groupon massages I have gotten at fancy shmancy places– and the Sand Spa massages are much more affordable. Plus, the whole vibe at Sand Spa is super chill. Overall, it was an amazing experience. I’m going back next weekend!

Sand Spa was the best massage experience I have ever had. My husband and I were on vacation (much needed) and Gretchen (works there) helped make our appointments. The space was amazing, clean, inviting and the massages we had were the best we have ever experienced. I had Robin and my husband had Rhonda. Can’t wait to come back!!!
