Best Turkey Deluxe Sandwich EVER. Well worth the drive and wait from DT Long Beach. Been coming here for many many years and have never been disappointed, very consistent in taste and texture. Service has always been Top Notch. If you come in Warm Beach weather, be prepared to wait in line and for your food. But all in all well worth it. Don’t forget to bring your quarters for the parking meters.

Mickeys has and I hope always will be a great deli. Family owned forever this place really does serve up a really good Italian meal. Pizza, pasta, and sandwiches are all on point. Love these guys. If you’re ever in Hermosa Beach definitely stop in to get some grub here.

Some of the best sandwiches in town! I love the Italian Combo and the large means large! The Deli is inside the liquor store so pair up your sandwich with any chips you desire. Grab some beer and treats for the road too! Expect a little bit of a wait and know that it will be crowded on weekends, but good food and an awesome little joint where the locals eat.

Mickeys is a landmark in south Hermosa!!! I have lived down the street from them for 14 years. It has become kind of a staple food group for our household! LOL! The pizzas are the best. I recommend pastrami sandwiches and any of the deluxe sandwiches are on point! You might pay a little more than a regular sub shop but this is WORTH it!
BTW– I felt like I had to write a review after I read the bad review from the guy that tried to order over the phone. He should know it gets loud in there and it’s hard to hear sometimes. — I have had times when we ordered over the phone and my order was misunderstood but they made me a whole new order super quick and offered to bring it to my house. Mickeys is the BEST! We eat there at least once a week:)

If you’re reading this, debating whether or not to go to MIckey’s. go to Mickey’s. Go to Mickey’s and order one, or both of the following:
–a sauce and cheese with jalapenos. extra cheese unless you’re dumb. Oh you don’t know what that is? or if you even want it? You do want it, and it’s a sandwich with marinara sauce and cheese, c’mon think!
–a ham and turkey deluxe wit’ erry’thang add bacon and toast that mofo.
Next, return to this Unilocal page and tell other what you saw, what it was like and how you’re about to walk out on your family so you have more time to eat at Mickey’s.
This place also serves as a liquor/​convenience store for all the brah’s to come wash down the sand after shredding some gnar-​gnar waves. It has a pretty decent beer, wine, and real-​booze selection and okay grocery selection, but really just the basics as afar as groceries are concerned.
This place has been here since 1847 (or 1970? close enough) and hopefully for many, many more years to come.

They make a pretty damn tasty sandwich here — I usually get a tuna salad sandwich w/​everything. A regular-​size is pretty hefty and does the job. They get really busy for lunch so I recommend calling ahead for pickup, and they deliver locally as well, although I don’t know if there’s a fee or anything. They have a cute sunny patio to the side where you can eat.
However, I do NOT recommend the potato salad, it’s really bland.

Really excited to try this place, unfortunately I was met with nothing but attitude on the phone.
I should have recorded it but whatever, here’s how the conversation went!
Me:Hi, I’d like to make an order for delivery.
Mickey’s: Uh… ok.
Me:So???
Mickey’s: What’s your address?
Me:(Gives address which is within their boundaries according to their Facebook)
Mickey’s:Yeah we don’t go that far.
Me: It says on Facebook you do, it’s not like I’m the ghetto or anything.
Then someone else grabbed the phone.
Mickey’s: Where are you located?
Me: Next to West High.
Mickey’s: How far is that?
Me:Excuse me?
Mickey’s: HOW LONG DOES IT TAKE YOU TO GET HERE.
Me:SHIT I DON’T KNOW I DON’T SIT ON GOOGLE MAPS ALL DAY.
Mickey’s:Whatever we’ll do it.
Then the guy was talking to someone else. I hang up. They’ve tried stalker calling me three times already. No thanks!

First off… don’t let the interior or exterior of this place effect your decision to partake at this fine eating establishment. The people there are incredibly friendly and aim to please.
I had the large Italian cold sandwich. Top grade ingredients and a unlike most sandwich places they put a lot of meat in these sandwiches. Yes, I’m talking to you subway …
They have inside and outside benches. This is basically a convo enhance store with a very good deli inside.
So on your bike ride. Stop on by. It’s worth the stop.

I love this little deli/​market!
The meatball sub is delicious– the bread is something special. It has that crunch on the outside, and it’s soft once you bite into it, and it’s ever so slightly sweet. It’s so good.
This market has everything you need– aside from hot food, they have beverages, snacks, popsicles, and even a table if you decide to eat inside the market.
I saw a lot of people order pizza and calzones too, and I’d like to try those next time. They’re open early and stay open late. We visited this place so many times during our long weekend trip in Hermosa Beach.

Came here based on the reviews…& I was not disappointed! I ordered the Italian combo deluxe & my boyfriend ordered the chicken parm & eggplant sandwich.
My Italian was very delicious! The nears tasted good & the sandwich wasn’t over loaded with condiments, which I really enjoyed. The bread was great! But I love bread so that’s just my opinion.
The chix parm & eggplant was amazing! The sauce was great! The eggplant was delicious! I will definitely order that one for myself next time!
We grabbed a bag of chips to eat along with our tasty sandwiches.
I will definitely come back here!!!
