Gold Dust Studio

This is my first time writing a Unilocal review but I felt as though I HAD to share with everyone my AMAZING experience! Savanna has been cutting and coloring my hair since she first obtained her license and I’ve been following her ever since. I’m so glad she finally opened up her own hair studio with Kerry as they both do AMAZING work! I don’t trust anyone else. My husband got his cut from Kerry and I got a cut/​color from Savanna. We both loved the work so much that our son is next in line! He’s 3yrs old and Kerry is so great with kids I’m sure he will love it. I’ve gotten highlights, lowlights, ombré, balayage etc. From blonde to red/​copper to brown she has done it all! My hair is never damaged and super soft after. I am constantly getting compliments on what a great color it is and how nicely it blends. Keep up the awesome work ladies! We will definitely see you soon!

There are very few people that I trust with keeping me fresh and looking my best and one of those people is Kerry Cain at Gold Dust Studio. She knows how to interpret what I’m telling her I want and transform it into a work of art. Between the beard trim, the hard part, the clean fade, and the straight razor clean up, I always walk out feeling like a boss.
And the décor in the new studio is amazing. It feels like I’m in an old timey, vintage, completely unique studio. Good vibes, warm smiles, and cold beers.

I am so excited for Savanna and Kerry to finally have their own hair studio!!!
It’s such a cute little place, in the same building as the 24hr fitness in hermosa beach. It’s on the second floor inside Salon Republic to your right, suite #3.
After years of seeing different hair stylists and trying out multiple makeup artists, there is No One else I trust more than Savanna. She is so talented and does such an amazing job. I always leave feeling flawless. She is a true perfectionist who goes above and beyond to make you look and feel like a goddess!

I have frizzy thick and damaged curls but somehow she manages to get my hair so sleek and luxurious.
Last Saturday I had a wedding to go to and on short notice, she was able to fit in an appointment with me for both hair and make up.
I got a ton of compliments on her work. My hair turned out beautiful and the make up stayed photo ready all night.
Most make up artists have a hard time giving me the exact look I envision and I always end up feeling a little hesitant to speak up about it (I don’t like being that pain in the ass client although I’ve heard I am hard to work with) but not with Savanna. She’s so great at making you feel comfortable and makes sure you are completely happy with what she’s doing every step of the way.
