Dunn-Edwards Paints

This is the brand new location in Hermosa Beach. Interior looked sparse, spotless and new, strangely reminding me of the interior of a Porshe dealership…
If you’re looking for paint and know nothing about paint, know that Dunn-​Edwards is in the upper echelon for paint. The paint is quality and the service impeccable, that’s why the paint is so pricey. Sure, you might have gotten a free paint sample coupon, saving you a few bucks. But you’ll have to shell out significantly more $$$ if you’re doing a large paint job. If you’re look for a more middle of the road kind of paint, go to Home Depot.
I came in here with my baby to try to match the paint of a toy firetruck. Staff saw us coming in from the parking lot and helpfully opened all doors for us. We had just bought a bunk bed and wanted to paint it with a firetruck theme. A staff member got excited about our project and came to show us the cardboard pieces he painted the day before with the same exact color, to donate to a local school as a firetruck prop. Very neat.
To get samples and pints, We were referred to the Lawndale shop as this location doesn’t mix gloss paint. This was an inconvenience but I guess they don’t yet have enough volume here?

I stopped by to pick up a couple of samples of paint and was immediately greeted and helped by a friendly gentleman. I was in and out in no time at all, and he even offered to bring the samples to my car.
This Dunn-​Edwards store looks new is very clean inside and out. Entrance to the adjacent parking lot is accessible going south on Sepulveda.
Dunn-​Edwards paint is the best!
