Lim’s Shoe Repair

I invest a lot in dress shoes. and they’re damn expensive. I’m fairly rough, too, what with all the scuffles and wear I place on them…
So, I love to extend the life of my J&M’s as much as I can. When you consider a pair of quality dress shoes can cost over $ 200, if only makes sense to fuel their survival as long as your can.
Whether it be reviving the polish on the upper section or rebuilding/​replacing the soles and heels, he has always done a fine job.
The picture I’ve attached is of a pair of tasseled dress loafers (is there ANY other kind!?). They are at least 5 years old. Yet, Lim has made them look new again. Heck, BETTER than new, in that they are already sufficiently stretched out!
For my money ($ 34), this is a brand new pair of shoes that will last another 2 –3 years. That’s a GOOD deal!

Horrible! I took my favorite pair of boots in to be fixed for my bday weekend, with only one heel that was broken. I brought the other boot for the man to take example of how it should be fixed. He broke my other boot and repaired the broken heel crooked (after 2 times) and told me «it’s fine crooked I think crooked give more support» what! The man blamed my other boot that he broke on the manufacturer of the boot this was after I had to bring my boot back because it wasn’t fixed correctly the first time. He tried to tell me my boots were cheaply made after he couldn’t fix it two tries later and after he broke the good boot. 200 plus for those boots I don’t buy cheap. The man then tried to charge me more money for him being unable to correct the broken boot and after having broken the good boot!!! Their english is non-​existent but the woman and the man will both try to assure you in horrible english that they understand what you are saying. yeah riiiight.this just happened this month 12/10/2010.please don’t waste your money or your fave pair of boots!
