Outback Steakhouse

I am usually a fan of this chain, but this visit fell short. I had steak and shrimp and both were tough. The service was good, but the food did not live up tothe usual quality.

No. 3 strikes your out? I’m at two and don’t wanna risk three. First time found hair in my food. Second time my lamb looked as though it has just taken off the lam itself. Service was okay but I think more could have been done for both mess ups. I’ll stick with Road House.

Now let me tell you that my expectations aren’t that high with this place because who goes to a steakhouse that doesn’t serve bernaise sauce (not that I can spell LOL) the staff was uninterested in the customers and management was only interested in what the staff was doing outside of work
Ok the food was ok wedge salad was awesome salmon was ok (it obviously sat in the window for too long) won’t go back and for the money average at best

Wonderful, friendly staff! Food was great. I really enjoy coming to this location as they always cook my steak exactly the way I order, which believe it or not 90% of the restaurants I order from get it wrong.

Came in tonight with a friend. My servers name was Brittany. Very friendly girl and was interactive with us :) food was great!

Love coming here for happy hour at the bar! 2 for 1 wine. The ahi tuna appetizer is Fantastic– we split the Prime rib dinner– perfect! Always lively conversation at the bar– good service and food.

Very few customers, yet I had to wave down the bar tender for a drink… Very poor service. Drinks are very skimpy… Order wine instead. Salad was «ok». Not returning.

Wow, Super friendly staff, we are celebrating our 40^th wedding anniversary running around daluth. Stopped at this outback and I can’t say enough. We had eaten last week at the outback in Bloomington, Mn and this one is by far better. We had the steak and endless shrimp and wowzer. we always eat endless shrimp red lobster and this outback location blows it out of the water. We are dropping in later for the sharable pitchers of top shelf margaritas and sangria’s.
Ok.here is the follow up went back for happy hour. place was completely packed. Did have to ask for 2^nd and third drinks because of this which was ok. Then had the grilled shrimp and medium wings. The shrimp were huge and so flavorful the wings were real nice size and the rub on them delish, talk about tender and juicy…

Very good rye bread, crusty and warm.

Great staff– we got there late and they weren’t crabby and pushing us out the door! It was really nice! Our waiter was friendly and helpful!
They are also great with kids!

I took my family out dinner. I had The New moonshine BBQ ribs and bacon wrap shrimp is so awesome. The manager great with us. Stop by are table and ask how everything was. Putting a smile on everyone face. Thank you Jason Ario. This is experience is by far one of my Best. The staff was on point never had to ask for anything, like they knew before I did.lol. So if you’re traveling to Duluth or just passing through. Stop at Outback and have Great Experience. I guarantee it :)

Outback is OK. The restaurant was pretty close to empty at lunch time during my most recent visit. For some reason, it still took quite awhile to place our order. The server was very nice, friendly, and helpful.
The bread they brought out to start was pretty good. It was fresh and still warm. The wildberry lemonade was good too. I’ve never really been a fan of the presentation at the Outback. When ordering a steak, they usually serve it by itself, as a piece of meat, just sitting alone on an otherwise empty place. The side dish generally comes in a separate dish (on the side). Although, this time, they actually put the side dish on the same plate as the steak, which actually helped the presentation a bit.
I am not a fan of their baked potatoes, as they have gigantic grains of salt coating the outside of the potato… which ends up being all you can taste. The potato soup is pretty good though. I am a big fan of their banana cream pie mini-​milkshake. Unfortunately, when I went to order one this time, they have taken it off the menu.

Always had awesome service here and love the food. Took away my favorite sandwich from my local Outback.

We call Outback our Cheers! Great staff and good meals at fair price. We love to go for lunch great value. Good soups, each of lamb is really good.
Miss the king crab as it was the best! We like the prime and chopped salad. All good

Service was friendly; however, completely distracted. Steaks are absolutely sub-​par for a place with steakhouse in its name.

Never disappointed with Outback. My favorite is the French dip focaccia sandwich.

Yes, it is a chain. But versions of chain restaurants vary, and this is a really good Outback. The staff is very helpful and the manager is very into everyone having a great experience.
Big pluses include the consistency of their steaks (both in terms of cut and how they cook them), they have a gluten free menu (and are very knowledgeable about it) and the extras (the fresh bread, their appetizers, their drinks) are all great.
The restaurant is located in a somewhat boring location near the mall and I don’t think they expected to do as well as they do, so the place is often full, but overall, its great (and very reasonably priced).
