Pea Ridge Forest Christmas Tree Farm

The very best! Not only a memorable and delightful experience for the family and the perfect way to kick off Christmas, but it’s January 7^th and our tree is still green and beautiful. Hate to send it to recycling. I think we will need to return here even when we move back to Colorado! There’s just no other place like it. These folks get it.

Pea Ridge is a MUST-​GO place to start your holiday season.
You can take a hayride to the field and pick and cut your own Christmas tree. Their Christmas trees are super duper decent when it comes to quality and price. It’s definitely worth the gas to drive out to the countryside. Or if you don’t feel like doing any manual labor, they do have pre-​cut trees available. The crew members will shake off extra needles and bail the tree for you to take home.
They have a gift shoppe where there’s a huge wood-​burning fireplace. Also, they offer free hot cocoa to everyone. You can warm up by the fireplace while drinking the complimentary cocoa. The gift shoppe is full of goodies — from Christmas ornaments to a human-​size stuffed snowman.
And you definitely need to bring home one of their custom-​made wreath — you can literally pick out any decorations and create one of a kind.
Mr. and Mrs Claus are there to entertain for 3 weekends (Thanksgiving weekends and the 2 weekends after). You can take all the pictures you want with them without shelling out a penny and awaiting in line at the mall.
Don’t forget to check out the wineries and Swiss meat booth. Oh. don’t let me forget the kettle corn and funnel cake, hot dogs and chili.
