I have never needed to rely on a home cleaning business until recently. Clean hands was available when I called and Raquel squeezed me into their schedule. The service was acceptable and did most of what was required for my check out. There were a couple of surfaces upon inspection I needed to re do because it wasn’t up to par. They will tell you what will be cleaned and what they won’t clean(ie: outside windows on a second story building, outside light fixtures, etc.). The prices they charged seem way too expensive for what was done. There was no flexibility in price and was charged one flat fee based on the size of the house. They did a nice job on the shower stall and tackled the almost impossible hard water stains. This home did not have a water softener and made it quite difficult to manage the hard water stains on the counter surfaces. The floors were done well and the blinds were cleaned. They cleaned underneath the kitchen appliances and the top of the cupboard ledge. I had already cleaned the interior of the appliances so I can’t really rate this area. One thing I wasn’t very happy about was the large tire impression left in the front yard that I had to fix. I had been raining heavily that day and one of the cleaning people that backed out from the driveway left a deep hole in the front yard. I had already spent hours weeding and raking the stones in the yard. If I left the tire print the way it was, I would have surely been charged for landscaping services to fix it. When I had arrived to lock up the house, I watched one of the worker’s struggle out the garage entry door to dump the mop water outside. I didn’t see it until later but the door knob made contact with the wall and left a small hole that needed to be repaired. Not a big deal but it was something that I needed to fix. I am not a big fan of cleaning services because most of what was done, I can do. Having worked with a real estate company, that was one of the hoops they made us jump to go through the final stages of the rental process. It’s done and I am glad.
