My family and I have been coming here for years, getting our eye exams done and purchasing glasses. But the administration women up front have no sense of customer service or knowledge of keeping customers happy. I purchase glasses from them every year and I came in to purchase a single pair of contacts and they act like those pair of contacts are going to come out of their paycheck. Just because I want to purchase my contacts through a cheaper competitor, they don’t want to lend a pair of contacts. And it’s not like I was asking for a free pair of contacts, I would happily pay the $ 12 they ask for. I have never in my life heard a doctor turn down a customer who needed their prescription. Dr. Milner was standing right there as she refused to sell me my prescription without purchasing a box of them, so he doesn’t care to keep customers either. I would suggest going elsewhere like insight optometry. They seem to have better reviews on Unilocal anyways.

Doctor Millner was great. Super informative and friendly. Great selection of frames too.

I had my annual eye exam, and am given a new pair of contact to try on even they know that VSP doesn’t cover yearly. I was charged $ 100 when finished. The office should have always warned the customers that if they try on new contacts which is not covered by VSP before they let the customer try the new lenses instead of make customer to believe it’s a Free trial!

I literally created a Unilocal and never used it but this is why. for a shitty ass experience … If I could I would put no stars and angry faces. Let me say that I have been going here since forever and got my first pair of glasses here and so has my entire family but now I’m pissed and I think they did something very unprofessional and scam –ish…just to get my money… So I recently just got a new job with a new insurance and I suppose I should have checked but I trusted my optometrist to tell me since they always explained everything very thorough… I have always worn glasses and never tried contact before. so I came in to get my exam and asked the opinion of what they thought about me trying contacts. they looked up my plan and said I do have it available… I said I was interested them to Only Wear MAYBE once or twice a month… So I was still going to get glasses no matter what… and I said this as well and they didn’t say anything until I went home and tried the contacts and they were honestly more trouble to have than not… now the exam seemed to me the exact exam I have had for years nothing different besides explaining how to put on contacts. My brothers have them so I knew already from watching them… So I called and said I didn’t like them and that I wanted just get my glasses. they said that I had to pay out of pocket for the exam over 100 $ when I was going to get it anyways for glasses! seriously?! such BS and such scam so disappointing and basically I’m forced to get contacts… its the stupidest thing I ever heard… and after my appointment they didn’t even want to give me my prescription… seriously?! wow… anyways … first review ever on Unilocal and just cuz of this… I’m so pissed I want to put reviews everywhere…

Fantastic team and experience! I have been wearing glasses for years and this was my first time purchasing them from this group. Prior to my arrival the receptionist made sure my coverage was clear and that I would understand my responsibility. Once I arrived they had a whole folder for me and were very helpful as I navigated the assortment of glasses. I did not do my exam there but they were organized in taking my prescription and finding something that met my needs, my look and my budget. Every single staff member I met there was a star and I told them that. If you want reasonable priced glasses that are high quality and considerate of your look, style and wallet, head to Hercules Optometric for a personal touch!

Yesterday was my first time visiting an eye doctor in at least 15 years. Dr. Milner was exceptionally knowledgeable, nice, professional, and just an all around awesome doctor. The frames they supply are reasonably priced and depending on your insurance you may even qualify for an extra discount.
