We ended up coming back here less than a month after our first visit, based on the fact that we thought it would be an easy place to bring our two-year-old son for a family meal. The experience is making me bump this place up a star, because of the ease of bringing kids. Let me tell you: coming here was a great choice! The staff was SO friendly and helpful with our son. We ordered a milkshake, which kept our little guy busy for a LONG time. They also have a «bandit plate» available for kids — pay $ 0, get a plate and utensils, and steal your parents’ food. Awesome. We did end up ordering a hot dog and applesauce(swapped this option with the normal french fries) for our son, and the waiter brought the applesauce out a little early, which was extremely helpful. This time, I also tried the chicken gyro, and I have to say that I like the Greek portion of the menu much better than the rest. No grease!!! I also ordered the sweet potato fries and thought they were good, although some were a little undercooked. The fish fry is also very popular at this time, due to Fridays + Lent, and my husband said it was pretty good, although not the best he’s had.

Excellent place for breakfast. The blueberry waffles have tons of fresh blueberries. If you are more of a lunch person you can order lunch during breakfast time. I had the Greek Spanikopita for lunch one day and blueberry waffles another day. Next time I’m in town I’ll be back.

Stopped here early Sunday morning based on reviews. Excellent breakfast. Options of cup size or bowel of oatmeal with choices of fruit was appreciated. Best staff working so cheerfully. Would have liked to have fresh fruit plate as an option, and also grapefruit juice. My chef’s choice eggs/hash browns/potatoes/veggies was very generous and excellent value. Highly worth the little detour close to the highway 390.

Not always consistent. Pancakes were brought instead of the waffles we ordered and the wheat toast I ordered was white bread. Our server was nice enough to exchange the waffles in a timely manner though.

Great Deals and Service! Check the daily specials for breakfast. They have some awesome price busters such as 2 eggs, 2 bacon, 2 sausage, and 2 ham(?) For just $ 5.99! Our waitress was friendly, fast and attentive. If you want breakfast and are in area this is the place to go. I had Eggs Benedict. it was okay, not the best sauce I’ve had but it passed. This knocked a star off for me. Otherwise great prices and how can you go wrong with breakfast stuff that is standard fare. Bön appetite! Visited October 2015

We stopped in Henrietta on our way to Toronto. There was a Tim Horton’s right next to our motel but decided to take a brisk 5 minute walk to Peppermint’s for«real food». We are very glad we did, the entire experience was wonderful. The food was good, the portions were good, and our server Kathy was absolutely awesome! I ordered the chef’s special and my husband got the cheesecake stuffed French toast, and both were very good. There was so much food we had to pack some to go! If we ever stay in this town again we will be sure to stop at this place again for breakfast.

Don’t let the nondescript building and out of the way location put you off. A really great breakfast place, wonderful corned beef hash — and they even gave me options on my poached eggs. Family run, super friendly staff reasonable prices. As others have said, good sourdough too.

Stopped here for breakfast before catching a plane. We decided on this restaurant based on their photos. The inside is clean & we were greeted as soon as we walked in. Our waitress was very friendly & quick. The prices are quite decent for the amount of food served. The spinach & feta omelet came with home fries & toast. The home fries were cooked for a long time as there were crisp potatoes which I love. They were very tasty. The omelet had the right amount of spinach & feta. I’d definitely return when we are in this area again. Their lunch & dinner menu looked very good. Give it a try.

Not sure how we wound up here but I had found several great reviews for Peppermints and decided to give it a shot for breakfast. Two coworkers and I stopped in for a somewhat late breakfast around 9am on a weekday. The place was easy to find once my GPS got me in the area. Making left turns in and out of here though could be a little tricky with the somewhat heavy traffic. The restaurant was pleasant with what I would describe as a French Country look with faux wall textures, tulip and vine hanging lights with numerous accents. There were probably only three tables occupied at this hour. We were promptly seated with drinks ordered shortly there after. Lots of choices on the breakfast menu all at very reasonable prices. I had their 222 breakfast of eggs, pancakes, bacon and sausage. My coworkers ordered an omelet and the country breakfast with eggs and sausage. We didn’t wait long for our orders to arrive piping hot and fresh. My pancakes were wonderful with a rich buttery taste. My scrambled eggs were light and tasty. I preferred the bacon over the sausage but nothing«wrong» with the latter. I heard good things about the omelet and the country breakfast plate was empty by the time we were ready to leave. Service was attentive the entire time but not smothering. Overall, I thought the food was excellent and the prices equally as good.

Very busy place, that’s a good sign! Great price for the food choices, servers are super nice and really seem to enjoy their jobs. The only thing they need to do is update some of the décor.

Very busy. Food was inexpensive and just«good». It did come out fast. Our server was very good. Quick with refills for the 5 of us. Ask for Kathy! Downfall is the food is just diner food… Greasy etc. Also, the desserts in the dessert case did not look appealing at all. They looked dry and like they’ve been there for weeks. Lastly, the bathrooms are in need of a Thorough scrubbing. Ick

Good food, great service! Our waitress was great, incredibly happy and attentive. The food was average diner food with average diner prices, nothing mind-blowing or interesting. They had a separate«specials» menu with some more out-of-the box dishes, which was cool. I like to see diners mix things up and expand from the«same old, same old». They had all kinds of teas and smoothies, which again shows some initiative to be different than your«typical diner». Overall great experience, just don’t expect any Food-Network tier food.

Underwhelming. When we first walked in, everything looked very promising. There was no wait even though it looked pretty busy, food looked good, comfy booths. We sat down, he ordered his usual coffee and juice for me. Took 20 minutes to get creamer for his coffee. When the food came, one of my eggs on my eggs Benedict was broken already with barely any yolk left inside. When I cut into it there was no glorious yolk leaking out. It was only when I cut into my other egg when I realized how much yolk I was missing. His smörgåsbord omelette was disappointing. It seemed like there was a total of 4 – 5 scrambled eggs burying a sliver of bacon and a rare piece of onion. All the ingredients they promised on the menu were barely in the omelette. I don’t know what it was, but I left feeling unsatisfied with my brunch. The eggs Benedict was alright at best, and the omelette he got was just meh. Even though we were both full, we went home and made some blueberry pancakes to fill that brunch void we had :(

Came here on a Saturday morning with my mom to grab breakfast. When we arrived it was only one server, but she was very attentive to all of her tables. Our waitress was very friendly and energetic and made our first visit very pleasant. I liked that she always came over to fill our coffee. I never saw the bottom of the cup. A lot of regular customers came in as the waitress seemed to know them. I ordered the Irish Benedict with home fries and addition of blueberry pancakes. My mom got the 2−2−2 special(2 eggs, 2 sausages, 2 bacon and 2 pancakes). When our orders came out everything visually looked great. The blueberry pancakes were mediocre, but the benedict tasted great and hollandaise sauce was delicious I was licking the sauce off the plate after I finished. My mother enjoyed her meal as well. Interior of the diner nice and clean, Food: great, Price: fair, Service: Excellent(2 thumbs up!). If Unilocal allowed ½ stars I would give this place 4.5÷5. I found a new place to bring out of town friends for brunch.

Before I start… The drinks do not come in cute mason jars any more!!! Wahhhh Went for breakfast around noon with my boyfriend. I had the spinach and feta omelet with rye toast. It was one of the best omelets I’ve had, albeit a bit on the greasy side(no wonder it was so damn good). The spinach was actually fresh and NOT from a can, which I can truly appreciate, and the feta was fresh and in abundance. Toast was thick and hearty, nothing to complain about. My bf got the blueberry pancakes which he wasn’t overly impressed with. He said the batter was a little to doughy tasting, but again, fresh blueberries, not from a can or even frozen for that matter. Another plus. The service was friendly and prompt. Our waitress refilled my luke warm coffee without me having to ask, and the second cup was much warmer… although not as hot as I would have liked. I felt it was a tad pricey for breakfast… About 23 bucks before tip for two people… I’ve had cheaper, but this was a little better fare than I’ve previously had for cheap. All in all, I would go back!

Come to Rochester every year around this time for the Last 7 years and never been to this place. Sen it again on my way to McDonald’s and decided to give them a try. The hostess /waitress was a early morning friendly. Like a welcome southern hospitality but only up north. The décor is of a classy diner feel. As I got here about 7:10a. The people were constantly rowing in. I decided on the 222 breakfast. 2 pancake, 2 eggs(over med for me)2sausage and 2strips of bacon. The pancakes were better than the famous blue building place pancakes. Priced pretty much the same as the competitors. But the friendliness of the staff and cooking of the cook wins this establishment 4 stars. Glad I did not pass this by another year. Much better then going to the double arch place.

Odd name for a Greek restaurant, but a solid choice for a hearty breakfast in Henrietta. This place definitely has a strong local following and I can tell why. You get that home town kind of vibe eating here. Everyone is friendly and strikes up a conversation with you. We came in on an early Sunday afternoon. The place was packed with a mix of people ranging from an older after church crowd to some college students. Service was pretty slow, but totally understandable since it was prime time there. I ordered the Irish Benedict($ 7.49) and got a side of fruit instead of home fries(+$ 1.50). The corned beef was tender and the egg was nicely poached. Only thing I was disappointed about was the amount of fruit I got with the fruit cup. My friend ordered the mushroom & swiss omelet($ 6.39). The omelet was cooked properly, nice and fluffy like it should be! Home fries were a little under seasoned. The sourdough bread that came with the omelet was thick, lightly toasted and absolutely addicting. I am curious to know where they get it because it was delicious! The menu here is very basic but I love that they use mason jars. For some reason, your drinks are always more appealing in them! I would say Peppermints is comparable to Jines on Park Ave, but with more of a basic menu. If you’re looking for breakfast in the Henrietta area, skip the crap at Denny’s and come here to support a friendly local business!
