Tangles

New to town so I did a Google search to find a salon for a cut and color. So glad I gave Tangles a try! Atmosphere and staff were immediately inviting and comfortable. All the clients before me looked amazing so I was feeling better about how my hair would turn out and I wasn’t disappointed! Chelsea listened to me and also offered her advice prior to getting started… and my hair turned out great — already made my next appointment!

My review for Tangles is somewhat mixed. I didn’t give it all 5 stars because of my first experience. My first time at Tangles I was with a stylist that, while she gave me a decent experience and haircut, did not meet my expectations for color. She colored it too dark for what I had showed her. Not only that but I left the salon with about a half an inch of color dye o my head. I was really unhappy with it but I got in touch with Ashleigh, a different stylist there, and she told me how she could fix it. She lifted the color, and then re-​colored it to match what I wanted in the first place. First try and she nailed it. She is a color genius. She is super professional and uses a really high-​end color line so you know you’re going to get what you expect. She is also very personable so my overall experience with her was fun and well worth what I had to pay to get my hair fixed. If you want to leave with dynamite hair, go see Ashleigh. She is AMAZING!

So grateful I found a fabulous salon that is modern, classy, friendly and affordable, most importantly, I am so glad to have found a trustworthy and talented stylist, Bethani Baines! I always use to get nervous about getting my hair done and was never quite satisfied with it, but coming here I feel comfortable using my voice. I love that they are patient and willing to fix anything that you may not like. Great cut and style and long lasting quality colors!

We were in Hendersonville for the afternoon and were looking for a place to get the wife and daughter’s hair cut and styled. After reading the rave reviews for Tangles I dropped them off only to be called moments later to be picked back up. The girl at the desk said they couldn’t help them and they had no availability. She did this even though there were only four people in the entire place and without even consulting the appointment book. There was no need for her snarky and condescending attitude. I am not certain what passes for social graces these days, but I am certain that they aren’t present at Tangles. We will most certainly never patronize their establishment and strongly recommend everyone find a place where they can be treated like people.

This place is awesome! I walked in for the first time, showed Jamie a picture of what I wanted, and she cut it exactly right. I love my new ‘do!

I have been going to Tangles for over 3 years; have seen both Veronica and Chelsea. Both are true professionals and do a fantastic job. The shop is clean; the staff is friendly and never have a problem getting an appointment when needed. Prices are reasonable, but worth the cost for the service you receive. Recommend 100%!

All I can say about Tangles is … WOW. What a treasure to have such an excellent salon in Hendersonville so you don’t have to go all the way downtown for great service. I highly recommend Benjamin but all the stylists are great. I went in for a «total makeover» and couldn’t be happier with my color, cut, and style. I have people stopping me all the time now asking who did my hair, and I always send them to Tangles!
I have very long, VERY thick, naturally wavy/​curly hair, so I usually spend a TON to have it colored. I had all-​over foiling done in 3 colors, plus a cut and style, and it cost me LESS at Tangles than simple highlights and a cut at SuperCuts! (No joke!)

I have been coming to Tangles for about a year now and love it! I was going to a trendy hair salon on Music Row, but got really tired of paying almost $ 60 for a haircut with very little style. One of my friends who I work with always has great hair, so I asked where she went and mentioned Tangles! I went to her stylist and walked out amazed! I love my hair and she is quick, but never makes you feel rushed! I’m not the one who likes to sit in a salon for hours to get a hair style! She always cuts my hair perfect every time! Her name is Andrea T. I now pay half of what I was paying! She doesn’t work on weekends, but has great hours during the week… something to fit most anyone’s schedule! I also had to get an up-​do once and since Andrea doesn’t work weekends I went to her recommended girl and her name is Veronica! I brought a photo in from a magazine and walked out looking just like it! She was great and my up-​do was pretty simple, but only cots $ 35 which is really reasonable these days!
